  • Day 1
24.5 miles in the bag. I managed to follow my map and App and only manage to get lost twice ( for me, that's huge )
I love being around other people . It makes me feel safe, and when in doubt I have someone to fall back on, so I know for many This may not seem like a huge task but for me, it was like climbing Everest.
I'd had a great day and decided half way through the day I wasn't going to achieve my solo wild camp and felt happier staying at a camp at lanivery ( Eden Valley Holiday Park )
I felt a little let down with myself that I chose the easier option, but sometimes you have to do what's best at the time.
    Day 2
Woke up at 7 and was packed up by 8 and on the road for the final 4 miles.
On this episode I look back on my adventure and draw a conclusion on the Saints Way as I enter Fowey

Enjoyed both parts of the hike. Definitely not fun that your body was hurting, but that’s the feeling of being alive

And also knowing from the pain what I have to improve on. Yes I want to look at lowering my pack weight but it's also very important you also work on lowering your body weight. Small steps 🚶‍♀️

You'll save a lot of weight by changing your pack and tent, pack size I would look at 50l. always take waterproofs, sometimes in summer i will only take a poncho. You should always have a warm layer with you, although I noticed you had a hoodie on in the morning that seemed unnecessary weight. At the beginning of this vid when you are walking down the bridleway I thought that was the best part of the walk lol
