- Day 1
24.5 miles in the bag. I managed to follow my map and App and only manage to get lost twice ( for me, that's huge )
I love being around other people . It makes me feel safe, and when in doubt I have someone to fall back on, so I know for many This may not seem like a huge task but for me, it was like climbing Everest.
I'd had a great day and decided half way through the day I wasn't going to achieve my solo wild camp and felt happier staying at a camp at lanivery ( Eden Valley Holiday Park )
I felt a little let down with myself that I chose the easier option, but sometimes you have to do what's best at the time.
Day 2
Woke up at 7 and was packed up by 8 and on the road for the final 4 miles.
On this episode I look back on my adventure and draw a conclusion on the Saints Way as I enter Fowey

Absolutely great content bud, great hike and narrated part is simply amazing!
Ahhh mate thanks for those kind words you won't know how much that means to me
Enjoyed both parts of the hike. Definitely not fun that your body was hurting, but that’s the feeling of being alive
And also knowing from the pain what I have to improve on. Yes I want to look at lowering my pack weight but it's also very important you also work on lowering your body weight. Small steps 🚶♀️
Great video. Smashing sleeping bag.
Cheers mate will be doing some sleeping bag reviews soon
Cool cant wait. Thanks for staying safe when using it too.😊
You'll save a lot of weight by changing your pack and tent, pack size I would look at 50l. always take waterproofs, sometimes in summer i will only take a poncho. You should always have a warm layer with you, although I noticed you had a hoodie on in the morning that seemed unnecessary weight. At the beginning of this vid when you are walking down the bridleway I thought that was the best part of the walk lol
Thankyou gor your advice it's proper sound advice that. As for the bridle path I agree BUT the hill after it was bloody horrible 🤣
Totally Agree good advice.
