      Except Amanda has a problem with respect and accountability. Every single person she has had a professional interaction with has stopped interacting with her. There is a reason for that. Also she falsely accused a black doctor of sexual harassment.

      The problem is she is very condescending, and rude, towards people that politically disagree with her. When she speaks on social and political issues half the time she doesn't know what she's talking about. She has a, "I'm holier than thou" attitude and she takes zero accountability in her role of why people dislike her. Amanda Seales is no victim and she wants people like you to throw a pity party for her.

      I don't think history should or will be kind to her. She attacked Tamir Rice's mother because Shaun King was using her dead son's name to raise money that wasn't going to the family to help them.
      She said Jussie Smolett doing the hate crime hoax was "noble." Amanda spit in the face of actual victims of hate crimes by doing that.
      These big names like Marc Lamont Hill and now Jemele Hill defending Amanda and not reading the articles that point out these issues, is some Candance Owens level grift at this point.
      Amanda is ALWAYS on the wrong side of things. History is showcasing that she's not a good person and that's why people don't like her.

The backlash is boring and predictable and those folks thought they would be able to pull this sort of crap and it would be acceptable and guess what it backfired because she is not the enemy, she is not the problem. How you all for the black community and stand up for out black women and men, and turned around and accused and destroyed a black man life. Accused him of sexually assault, abuse ect ect then offered an bullshit apology, because you got caught lying. Also its not you say it's how you say it. Her approach is always aggressive, and if you don't agree with her she gets very very aggressive and speak over people. Also every project she have been on it has always been a problem with her. At the end of the day, if you always in drama and drama follow you everywhere you go, then you are the problem point blank period. Alot of people don't want to deal with her, because they see how shit goes when she's around, so they choose to far away from her.

    It's likely that people stand with her message but just don't like HER.
    I used to be a brash person with pure intentions. I remember a friend telling me that I hurt their feelings and from that point I made it my business to consider my delivery because I cared about who I hurt.

But one thing I’ve learned in life is that you have to be there for YOU & hold yourself down.. b/c if you don’t, no one else will, except for God. And all the acceptance I need is within him. SM is another level of peer pressure and it takes A LOT to stand your ground. Cheers to the Amanda Seales, the Candace Owens, the Omarosa, the Camille Paglia… it’s ok to go against the grain. and there lies the problem "folks be bothered with me for no reason" - theres always a reason. you may not understand it, and it MAY have nothing to do with you and more so projection- amongst other internal struggles on those people behalf, but there is always a reason... and continuing to act as if it just came from an empty grocery bag is gaslighting...most people dont feel this way about Tamika and her whole life is dedicated to US....you dont have to care, and tbh you shouldnt, IF you have no desires of changing yourself or growing from others perspective views of you, its spiritually taxing, but to complain or to voice aloud is to some what care......
    shes not my cup of anything, not even my own spit to keep my mouth salivated BUT i clicked to give her a chance hoping shes done some self awareness after hearing peoples feedback because i will always support anyones advocacy work when it comes to our community, even if i dont support them as a individual in all other aspects BUT im a little glad she said this statement early so i dont have to sit through this interview of the same AS. i feel for her internal struggle,😢 the windows to her soul say a lot🥺, it makes me feel sad and i havent even had my lunch yet😓. still dont fk with her but its sad.

    Storytime:
    I was a freshman at Norfolk State and working at Norfolk International at the gate and ticket counter for a major airline. I got a call from the counter to look up the notes of a passenger before they got to my gate. Said passenger was Amanda... It said to call her by her stage name and NEVER by her legal. This was when she was still Amanda Diva. She made it to my gate, and I tried to speak to Ms. Diva and be pleasant. She said nothing and snatched her ticket off the counter when I reprinted it with a seat upgrade on me (the flight to NY wasn't full) black woman to black woman and I couldn't even get a thank you, smile, nod, nothing.
    She could definitely be someone different than she used to be, but that encounter I had was not pleasant.

      Sometimes people are shy when they first start out and don't know how to handle the public. They have to learn how to navigate that anxiety. She's on the autism spectrum. She shared that with Shannon Sharpe.

    • @LoveWinsItAll
      @LoveWinsItAll 8 месяцев назад

      @paulatrent60 I understand what you're saying, and that's valid, but she was seasoned on MTV at the time, and there's a difference between rude and shy. I definitely think she could be a different person today. I'm just saying that my interaction with her was not pleasant.

    • @paulatrent60
      @paulatrent60 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@LoveWinsItAll Shy doesn't always present the way we've been told or as it's shown in entertainment media. I've had people I knew in my youth come back and say how the were scared and didn't know how to handle themselves around people and circumstances they felt uncomfortable in. We just thought they were rude and standoffish. Not all people's emotions present the way we're conditioned to believe they should. Cultural differences, emotional events can change the appearance of what an individual's reaction or interaction looks like. The fact that those specific instructions were left about the interaction/transition speaks to how people on the spectrum control their interactions because public spaces with strangers can be overwhelming. I've worked with young people who deal with this. And course now that she's had time to work through this it will be better.

    • @LoveWinsItAll
      @LoveWinsItAll 8 месяцев назад

      @paulatrent60 I still understand where you're coming from, but it feels as if you're trying to shoe horn. I get how this can happen, but it wasn't that. She called herself Diva, and that's how she acted. Once again, I surrender to the fact that she could be completely different now, but in this moment in time, she was not nice.

    • @paulatrent60
      @paulatrent60 8 месяцев назад

      @@LoveWinsItAll Clearly the effect for you was traumatic. Your feelings were hurt in a particular way and that's what you are going to hold on to. Calling yourself a diva can be a part of the process to keep people at arms length. People are very good at creating conventions to do that. In the way that you are saying I' m shoe horning. Both are defensive behaviors. Hers and yours. You've carried this with you all this time and feel the need to cling to it and refuse to even consider a different reason for the behavior. Ask yourself why this has affected you so deeply.

    And it was in Jamele’s question @ 30:45 … “have you ever received a criticism that you thought was fair??”
    🗣️ We don’t SEE, HEAR, or KNOW Amanda to **receive correction**, challenge, or change… so her wanting to bestow that on the community or see the fruits thereof fromher labor the- we gotta see it from her FIRST!!
    LEAD BY EXAMPLE… not just with INTELLECT.
    Hearing her share has definitely highlighted more of her interpersonal processes (great questions Jamele!!) while she is being very transparent and candid (😢🤰🏽🙏🏾)… she also acknowledges her “tone” and “light-skinneded-ness” vibe ppl attribute to her 😂… that in and of itself takes a great deal of humility and grace to do.
