He was so polite to Tomi Loren but dispicably rude to Amara La Negra. Then says he was polite to Tomi because TMZ was there. Willing to sell out a sister ( she’s black so she is) because the overseer is around. Grow a pair and sistas will respect you more.
Surprised Charlemagne didn't ask her if her big azz afro was real or fake like he asked Amara la Negra multiple times who had the same exact sized afro. Maybe he can learn a lesson on colorism from his own damn self.
He was wrong for the way he did Amara La Negra. Hopefully, he's reflected on that interview because he looked so ignorant in it and Envy looked like a moron.
Kenya Moore has said that many assumed that she wore weaves because she is brown skin and assumed that her light skin friends weave was their natural hair. People accused Amara of having melanin injections and darkening her skin because of her features. Great point though but he knows Amanda as a friend so he knows that her hair.
Amanda verbalizes a lot of things that a lot of women feel, and instead of some men listening they demean, diminish, and dismiss her. To be quite honest given the level of choices that a lot of Black women have in terms of men, being single is far better than the options at hand. Now days, telling a Black woman that "she'll never get a man" because she's vocal about the disrespect and constant bullshit she's being force-fed is NOT an insult. Bottom line a lot of y'all don't have much to offer anyway, so we'd much rather you keep it.
She gave him a pass on that Amara interview because she thinks he never had a conversation about Latin colorism. The problem is, HE HAD A 1 1/2 HOUR CONVERSATION WITH 2 AFRO LATINAS IN 2016 on his podcast Brilliant idiots with Marjua Estevez and Vanessa Marcos and did the exact same thing: try to argue down the validity of an experience he knew NOTHING about!
KalphaO and that was bs to me. Particularly because he spouts all this black power, white privledge, racism, light skin/waffle colored stuff. How could you not understand????
So Cthagod basically brought in his good friend Amanda the light skin version of Amare to explain to him colorism who ironically is rocking an Afro and African print clothing. Instead of just bringing Amara back, apologizing and having a true discussion 😑.
Temple of Jenni u sound like such a hater, Love your darkskin and be happy about it. She’s black, n she’s not even that light. Darkskin women come across as haters on the internet smh
Ameriican_idiot So because I call bullshit and acknowledge visual similarities between Amara’s interview and Amanda’s interview, which further proves how colorism works I’m a hater with no self love. Yeah, reading is fundamental.
Keera Mathis I was commenting on her colorism portion of this interview as it relates to Amara’s interview. Her being there last year would be a mute point to my comment.
I don't get the hate KK is getting for that post, Even Hov called them Bo Derek's on "Girls, Girls, Girls" .... She just referenced a pop culture moment and MF's went full Hotep on her ass lol
i was actually thinking of that song when she called them that. Also i don't get why women be shading Kim, but want everyone to support every women. Cardi do the same thing, showing her ass, but women say she is living her truth, but when it comes to kim its different.
It's sad that some of you equate a woman's value or success by if she single or not. Forget that this woman is making moves , if she were a man y all Wouldnt have anything to say
When you remove the smokescreen of feminist rhetoric and industrialized society propaganda....that is a woman's value! That is her earthly duty....to find a man, start a family, and raise children.....to push humanity forward.
Supreme5panel omg nobody stopping you from creating a family, you wanna go out and start a family then do so. Your life of no my life or hers my advice mind ya business and level up
I love Amanda but I'm very disappointed about the conversation on Amara. That was not a debate but argumentative. She deserves an apology.Envy & Charlamagne literally asked her if the discrimination she experiences as a darkskin women was just all in her head. That interview was just literally as bad as the Tomi Lohren one.He may be her friend but he was dead wrong especially being darkskin himself. They should have invited her back & admitted they lack of knowledge and committed to learning about other black peoples in Latin America. How the hell is she from a Caribbean country and doesn't know neighboring Latin countries also have black peoples with similar colonial struggles?Breakfast Club is cancelled.
yes the conversation was appalling just as appalling as Amara saying on LHHH saying "I am not African-American I am 100% Latina" the woman is born in Miami I bet her passport says American but of course she is of Latin descent. Charlamagne was right to question her as she changes her story but do agree it was a harsh interview and cringe worthy
Charmane is a troll how he don't understand colorism when all social media got on his ass about possibly bleaching his skin,?how he don't know about afro Latinas and they station based out of the most culturally diverse city in America, so you knoiw jamicasns Africans irish jewish all these people in New York you telling me you never seen a afro latina ,Stop It
Lulu060986 Well as far as I know she was born and grew up in America so she had a typical American education which is typically American centric and she maybe only is educated about Grenada and ignorant about the other countries. It is still lame that she doesn't know about the other islands though.
Women just got to remember that the men who be commenting on social media don't represent all that the world has to offer. They are just a small few, insecure & bitter with a terrible outlook on life. Believe me better men are out there. Strong black men who love strong black women.
Kassie Mitchell It's a war going on forreal, shit just needs to stop. Too much bashing going on on both parts. If someone does some bs single that person out, don't throw a whole gender and race under the bus.
Theme Fresh Yes, It's a lot of negativity from women on social media. They're bitter and like to make other people bitter too. Misery loves company. For both men and women.
Marvin Santana If you getting over looked by them then you need to ask yourself why. You may not be as good a person as you think. Now, confident men listened to this interview and didn't get triggered, angry or put off. Why? Because they know what is being said is not meant for them. Plain and simple.
Black women have to stop thinking that needing a man is negative. If you’re a heterosexual female, being with the right man brings you a natural balance that being alone or being with another female will not bring.
She has some valid points. Some men act like they want a pushover...someone who doesn’t question them, so they can do what they want. I don’t see feminism as wanting to be over a man...but we are equals and don’t treat me like I’m stupid. I want my black man to lead and be strong for me. And I will meet him and support him. But what you won’t do is disrespect me and expect me to sit in a corner and take it. I think that is the disconnect. Challenging a mans bullshit to him is challenging his manhood and that’s not the case. When women are fed bullshit continuously, that’s when we start to rebel, challenge you, talk to you crazy. As a woman, I can admit I’ve done it! Be real or leave me tf alone. Some men live for games.🤷🏾♀️
micheal fuller thank you! whenever a woman questions a man, he thinks she’s stepping out of place. you’re my man, not my daddy...women can’t even have/state opinions without it bothering some men. something has got to give!
"That's why she's single" "She'll never find a man" "No man wants to be with a woman like that" GOOD. How did you watch the interview but miss the whole point? Y'all act like being a single woman w/ purpose that's living her BEST life is a consolation prize. Nobody is checking for any of you hurt men in the comments anyway. Relax sis.
Ana Lee How tf would you know who checking for who?? Your ass leaving comments too anybody checking for you? Her problem is all the finger pointing and blaming. Like Katt Williams said, "maybe she needs to find out what it is about her pussy that keep attracting ain't shit niggaz." All I heard this interview was bitching. Plenty of good men out here. Sometimes women need to look in the mirror. It ain't always us. Just cuz u successful she go back to her big ass house lonely AF!!
Luh Man colorist views are a real problem. Perhaps watch the documentary Black Grandmothers In the Closet. It’s a real issue and people like yourself refuse to do research out of pure laziness. Getcha’ education up.
Luh Man COLORISM IS A REAL THING. ONE THING PPL CAN DO NOW IS ACTUALLY research and get the info needed to find out what's true or not. I KNOW 16 yr olds who KNOW first hand how colorism works. Sad to say it still exist in 2018.
I work as a service advisor for the biggest automotive industry and based on what I have seen, 98% of professional black men that have stepped into my office for business are married to black women, not mixed, I mean black women. I've had family outings and exchanged visits with some, and to me, they seem very happy. Stop all these negative generalization of black men. Not taking away the fact that some brothas have a lot of growing up to do, I just think it applies to sistas as well. All these blame game hasn't and won't help.
I think those men who are married are secure with that they wanted, which was to be in a solid relationship. Those who are not sure about giving up their freedom or know how to build a partnership make excuses like attacking women, when in fact the issue is with their inability or lack of desire to commit. Some of it is also old ideas of women having a certain place or roll in society.
Angela Alcain but just like he said, that goes for women as well. People in general need to learn how to be responsible and stop blaming everyone for something they went through, their choices and mainly he say she say report. If a person wronged you then evaluate yourself first then blame that person not any and every person who has any similarity to that individual.
Bottom line is that a lot of women are too arrogant to analyze the role they play in why things don't work out for them. Feminism has made it easy for these women to hide behind the "it's all men's fault" narrative. "It must be because I'm darkskinned..." But of course Her bad attitude and promiscuous ways play no role in why men would be turned off though.
Amanda made a really good point regarding want and need. I'd rather be wanted. To want me means you're willingly putting me over other things/people. If you need me, it implies you have no choice but to rely on me in some way. I would see being with you as an obligation, not a privilege.
This is My Real Name I think that might be a male-female psychology thing where women prefer to be 'wanted' by high status men and men prefer to be 'needed' by loving, nurturing women. Just a thought.
Troy Bakeman I see what you're getting at but I'm focusing more on the inherent differences between wanting and needing something. Wanting, to me, simply means you could do without me but you'd rather not, whereas needing means you have no choice. There's also the whole idea of wanting someone so much that you feel like you need them because you can't imagine life without them. That's cool too.
This is My Real Name in this society women aren’t capable of loving a man, they love men...multiple Dick’s. We live in a society that promotes whoredom and it also shames men for pointing it out. Women contain the dna of every man they’ve ever slept with, if you have a kid with a woman now a days, it’s guaranteed that the kids dna will have other men’s dna in it also. What I’m saying is women will always be unhappy and complaining about men in this society because women are not supposed be be whores.
In my opinion as a young adult black male I feel like both black men and women would rather blame each other rather than take accountability for their actions. It's one of the many reasons why the black community is in shambles. I'm not saying everyone has to think the same or be the same for in order for us to succeed but we have to grow up and stop pointing fingers at each other as if we're five years old.
I echo these EXACT sentiments. Everybody wants to blame the other person and not take responsibility for their actions. Then we wonder why our community remains disassembled and stagnant
I’m not black, but yes I have noticed a lot of dysfunction in black culture, especially in the family system. Blaming, shaming, manipulation, all traits that seem to be the norm in ya’ll’s community. But to be fair, many other cultures are the same way.
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOUR COMMENT... We really need to SERIOUSLY stop the blaming and competing, it's so unnecessary and useless!!! The issue clearly goes both ways and in this era of social media it's just been even greater heightened especially for women.
Yung Nasty Man -- what a demonstrative display of Male bravado, y'know, that's usually indicative of some form of dormant, latent homosexuality... It's a dashiki, man, wipe your mouf... smh
Why are people so focused on her not having a man.... people need to understand that its a new age and most men have not taken the time to appreciate the woman as an individual. Its a new era where women are okay with being alone rather then forcing a man to comprehend her.
Sadie Hill Because most women today ain’t worthy of wifing up. Too many hot mama’s, Thots out here running wild for a baller or thug in this generation. Then they want a good guy after she has been ran through....by Tyrone, Ray Ray, Pookie’, Walmartavious, Jerome, and his homeboys. Good black Men are waking up, and calling it out.
*Angela Yee* "didn't know" either but she was very respectful! *Charlamagne* just dismissed her with "Are you sure it's not in your head" yet he's bleaching. I'm glad *Amanda* started to read him and *Trevor Noah* for hanging out with *Tomi Lahren...* #UtterHypocrites
These comments of her being a lesbian , based on her being aggressively opinionated supports what she’s pointing out when she states men feeling like they’re looked as being less than because a woman is showing her own strengths, instead admiring the strengths in this woman you’d rather put negativity in the comment section.. 🙄 (she can’t find a man ) half the chicks you follow don’t have a man of their own and the ones that do have men that type comments like these 🧐
Keeping up With Eydie he is right for asking her that because dark skin ppl are paranoid as hell!! Every time something doesn’t go their way, the excuse is it’s because they are dark. They have this stigma that is ridiculous! I am dark skinned by the way. I never ever felt like I was excluded and I always got whatever I worked hard for. I have never been denied. The men I wanted regardless of race or complexion always approached me. Stop bringing up color!! It sounds like you hate your own self!! Amara is beautiful but she made her whole existence about ppl not liking her color so she was gonna throw everything african in their face and rub it in! She was so annoying. That’s why Charlemagne was like r u sure it ain’t in your mind! Some Dark skinned ppl need therapy I swear!!
But racism is historically systematic. People are like that because of the years of oppression and that shit wears on a person. That type of conditioning effects you deeply and not all of us are properly equipped to handle that so yeah she has to work on herself just like you and me do but I wouldn’t be too hard on her
Lol I don’t understand how guys see her as masculine. Like what’s manly about her...her outspokenness?.....her control over how she wants to live?....Her opinions on the type of relationship she wants to put herself in? I mean she doesn’t dress masculine so what’s so manly about her? Someone please explain
Nikki, Cardi, Amara, etc are all fit the same description but they are still considers sexy and feminine. Knowing that should make Amanda and you think a little deeper to figure out why that difference is.
She's not manly - she's goofy. Maybe because some men don't consider that attractive they think it because she's manly when in actuality she has a cute dork goofy vibe.
Olivia 5757 masculinity isn't about how you dress. It's about energy. Feminine energy is associated with warmth, understanding, and nurturing. She obviously displays the opposite of that. Masculine energy is associated with ambition and logical thinking. On top of that she comes off as egocentric.
DashO, Yes but I rarely see men do the same. I mean, women are told by society and the media (especially relationship advice books, and these are mostly aimed at women) that they should change the way they are just to make men happy enough to date them, men are not told or taught this at all
HOLY HORUS If you have to "listen" to a woman than you're not leading her. Women need to be led, black women are the way they are because they're matriarchal, and there is a vacuum in their lives for a strong man.
My ex broke up with me to be with a woman who had 3 kids (1 with a disability) sharing a 1 bedroom apartment with her brother 😭 I worked, went to school and had no kids. When it wasn’t working out for him of course the calls started with him “missing” me and venting his frustrations. I asked him why would you break up with me to go to a situation like that 🤣 he told me he felt “NEEDED”
mostmost1 Or maybe men are sick of the double standards and hypocrisy If a man were to come on this show and say the same thing about women I'm sure women would be trying to boycott or calling CTG a woman hater...
Marvin Santana lmaooooo. She’s speaking honestly on situations ALOT of women go through. But you’re too shallow or basic to listen. How about you meet me at the shrink to discuss you’re hurt 🙃.
The comments really do show how right she was about everything she said in the interview. It’s sad. Y’all really do hate women with every fiber in your being.
Luh Man How is she bashing men? She's talking about some men that she's had negative experiences with, just like how men come up here and speak about their experiences with women
I noticed a pattern with Cthagod... he be nice as hell and attentive to the light skin women guest like angela rye, cardi b, and Amanda seal but be hella disrespectful and dismissive to the amara la negras and the Monique's...
As a black man I honestly hear the hate about her and I see where it come from but I honestly don’t agree. She does seem like a hand full but I think it’s a cover because she’s really so sensitive inside. I real man can get through that “tough skin” Black women are just very opinionated. I understand that some weak men want “yes women” I get it. I like a woman that’s a rider and speak her mind in a respectful way. My only issue is when black Women run to white men then try to bash black men after. I also don’t like when they say “all” just say the ones you’ve ran into. She cool man just a lot to deal with. Black woman need to also stop trying to push forward all that gay stuff just to bash straight men. I listen to Tariq Nasheed every weak and he hate this woman lmao I love that brother but I’m gonna disagree.
Yeah saying I didn't know never had that conversation before he had the exact same conversation with those girls on the brilliant idiot and acting the same way he did with Amara dismissing their struggle with Schultz which makes it worse
if you can't even admit that the aziz situation was just a female trying to make a come up i don't need to listen to anything because you can't keep it 100
Verse Mall he was tho. He wasn’t wrong but he should have been able to tell that Ol girl wasn’t feelin him. Women make it obvious enough. I agree that Ol girl was tryna make a come up off this #metoo shit and snatch a check
I actually would take Aziz side in this scenario, but with that being said this women chose to be anonymous. So how exactly is she looking for a come up?
Amanda Seales is a hypocrite because she once tweeted that men who have too many pictures of themselves on Facebook or Instagram are being "feminine." Yet she says men shouldn't quantify her behavior as being "masculine." There was always a double-standard where women are allowed to do things considered "masculine" without criticism, whereas men are not allowed to do anything considered "feminine" -- including having pictures of themselves, which I don't understand how it's in any way feminine. Unless you are suggesting narcissism is more associated with female behavior, for which I agree.
+french role -- Wendy Williams, like a lot of (Black) women, is a hypocrite who wants to box in men and prevent them from expressing themselves freely as much as women can. What in the world does saving money have to do with manliness or femininity? I think I'll sign up for Groupon just out of defiance to her man-hating BS.
Everything she just said about men don’t genuinely like women I fell like it’s the same thing on women not geniuelly liking men. (Sign) when are we gonna stop having these conversations where we’re pointing the finger and just realize that WE ALL don’t respect each other. We have all been trained (men and women) to use each other for our own benefits. Nobody is little red riding hood out here we are all messed up and selfish and dirty and everything else in the book, you can get that from anybody no matter what gender you are. I mean everything she just said that’s like the big huge conversation in the men’s circle, that women really don’t like and respect them and only want them because of who they are, they status, money, dick and laughs... the fact is that we all don’t respect each other especially black folk because society has trained us to hate each other. All of us got some cleaning up to do, all of us can learn to respect and love each other a little more.
Morglife Dib3 I would say it comes more from the family than society. very rarely will you see kids that had loving, functional, happy parents enter abusive relationships where each partner does’t respect the other. It’s a cycle of taught beliefs, and subconscious characteristics that the son/daughter looks for in there partner that resembles what is familiar to them. I’m not black, but I have noticed these specific kind of dysfunctional black relationships is very common in ya’ll’s culture. Unfortunate because it’s these kinds of core beliefs that are the hardest to change. will take many life times and generations until the black culture starts to positively change, and that change comes from the inside.
Damn all the hurt men in these comments. Generalizing nothing she said but forming your opinion around your assumption because of what she stands for. If you feel the only way to have a healthy relationship is for you to rule over your woman or deem her position less than in comparison to you than you have no business being in a relationship.
Firstno way, what you said was silly. White women will always have white privilege because theyre white, it doesn't disappear just because theyre dating some black guy. Just like dating a white woman is not gonna give black dudes white privilege or take away their inferior position in society. By your logic, black women who date white men would have white privileges and they dont. At the end of the day no matter how many white guys black chicks hook up with in 2018, we'll never have the same privileges they have nor would they ever lose their privileges same goes with black dudes and white women
Diamond Girl so he dismisses Amara, a guest, who is talking about discrimination in the industry. His friend for 10 years has probably spoken about discrimination and he as a black man should know about discrimination. The only person trying to defend Amara was yee but she tries to do thast with most guest
So why are you extending your anger of Charlemagne towards Amanda by dismissing her as just this light skin. If your really here to defend Amara you wouldn't be trying to do similar things to Amanda. Your just a troll who hates Charlemagne and is using Amara to validate your hate
Amanda Seales is so dope. I love her break down on "Need & Want" when it comes to relationships. She used such a great analogy when explaining it. One in which I relate to especially since I am currently a solo poly single parent with a strong guard on my autonomy and I don't desire codependency. But the people I choose to keep close to me are based on amazing bonds that I love and WANT to keep in my life. The #FreeSpirit is not meant for everyone!
Mike G Cause they don't want to ruin there relationship with feminist there the new homosexuals bully crew. But the difference is they don't get any resources or power for it.
This woman has all of the tools of success. Like lockdown. Wow I'm so impressed with her and so inspired. Thank you again for putting her on your show. I will be watching the other interview right after this. What a blessing.
Luh Man - In Africa women have not always had rights. Africa has 54 countries and about 3,000 tribes, which ones are you specifically talking about? Africa can only be a generalized point to your subject but each country differs neighbor to neighbor.
She spoke nothing but the truth beginning at 5:22. I could never understand this, you can be in a relationship with a man and he could be constantly be tearing you down instead of being your rock. Let’s uplift each other and stop belittling each others feelings about certain things. We have more power as a unit ✊🏾
@Red Sunshine, it's called being rude Sweetie. Act that way if you want, but don't be mad at people for calling you rude if you want to be unapologetic with your rudeness.
Ramal Ankh how ever she choose to express her truth and her life is her business. I just love the fact that she embraces her culture and happy she putting my little island on the map. I'm here for all the islanders honestly. Love my culture.
Ramal Ankh I mean just cuz you don't like or agree with her doesn't mean some of the things she is saying isn't true. And I feel like you having the word ankh in your name you should acknowledge the fact that there is some odds stacked up against us and disrespect towards us when it comes to being a black woman. Js...
Ramal Ankh I'm not saying us as black ppl don't have odds stacked against us what I'm saying is that being a woman it's already an odd and then we gotta be black on top of that to. It's like a double stigma. And stop saying our black woman and generalizing all of us, it's some. Just like some African Americans men are VERY disrespectful to black woman. And the fact that you have the audacity to say black woman like to cooperate with white society against us and love to be around fuckery Like the same can't be said for a lot of you brothers. 🙄 it's just ridiculous .
Ramal Ankh ok if you was reading to overstand instead of reading just to reply you would see that I never said what you were saying was wrong . I simply said to stop generalizing black women and saying ALL . And I said that the same thing you said about "us" black woman can DEFINITELY be said about a lot of black males. And promiscuity and having a lot of children by dead beats is a PERSONAL problem it has nothing to do with black woman as a whole wtf lol and again you have the word ankh in your name and you're saying having a lot of children like its a bad thing . And in the early days they was stories about black woman who was just house wives n wanted to go out n work but they husbands didn't want them too. But at the end of the day I'm not here to start no black woman vs black man crime I love my black men and Ijs. I'm not the one who taking what Amanda said to heart like I said in the beginning how ever she chooses to express her truth is her business. I didn't even watch the full interview. I can care less honestly. You the one that wanna argue and I don't know if you realized everything I brought up you tried to go against and be negative when speaking about black woman. ... Maybe you're in the group of black men she's trying to describe.
If we made a list of female insecurities, it would be longer than the entire comments section. Women, especially Black women, love criticizing & blaming men while spending no time analyzing themselves and taking accountability for their own choices & actions.
The Problem is not that she is very opinionated ... the problem is that she thinks her opinion is always right ... I don’t agree that she’s masculine though
That is the same thing that I was thinking. She comes off like her opinion is the only one that matters. In addition, I could see her getting in a huge argument if you think differently instead of trying to talking things our or trying to see things from the other persons prospective.
From the tone of her voice it’s easy to get that impression but when you’ve put up with the amount of bullshit that she’s had to in order to get where she is, you would be too. I suggest listening to her words instead of the tone of her words.
TheBeautifulMynd to me it’s more combative just because of her mannerisms when she is speaking and who does society associate that with... black women ( brown and darker women) which are seen as masculine.
The Million Man Movement Women have a hard time because some men cannot accept the fact that we have interest outside of being domesticated... We all have to be held accountable, this does not only pertain to women.
Be G She ain't spoke a bit of truth. She just finger pointing like a 5 year old. Maybe she needs to look in the mirror. A lot of men don't like women. Women like HER!!
Damn! I like that “ people will push you and then be surprised when you trip.” So ducking true!!!!!
He was so polite to Tomi Loren but dispicably rude to Amara La Negra. Then says he was polite to Tomi because TMZ was there. Willing to sell out a sister ( she’s black so she is) because the overseer is around. Grow a pair and sistas will respect you more.
He’s such a clown i hate that
Msboochie2 oh shut up lol
San Francisco
Confused about the whole situation
With that gossiping equator island
Surprised Charlemagne didn't ask her if her big azz afro was real or fake like he asked Amara la Negra multiple times who had the same exact sized afro. Maybe he can learn a lesson on colorism from his own damn self.
He was wrong for the way he did Amara La Negra. Hopefully, he's reflected on that interview because he looked so ignorant in it and Envy looked like a moron.
4everfaithfulun2Him yup
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You're right...
Kenya Moore has said that many assumed that she wore weaves because she is brown skin and assumed that her light skin friends weave was their natural hair. People accused Amara of having melanin injections and darkening her skin because of her features. Great point though but he knows Amanda as a friend so he knows that her hair.
Amanda Seales is EVERYTHING!!! Great interview and a good conversation. She could care less that the truth takes people out of their comfort zones.
Clacci38 5ine yup him
Amanda verbalizes a lot of things that a lot of women feel, and instead of some men listening they demean, diminish, and dismiss her. To be quite honest given the level of choices that a lot of Black women have in terms of men, being single is far better than the options at hand. Bottom line a lot of y'all don't have much to offer anyway, so we'd much rather you keep it.
that's tea!
PREACH!!! 🙌
Its always a fat girl angry ....about something
Thank you. Men always telling us how we should feel and act when its the opposite of whats inside us
Seasonal Loner, Thanks for proving her point
She's dope AF and seems fun to be around. Dope black women like her get a bad rap because they're opinionated and lame game doesn't work on them.
Thaddeus Bilbo ♡
facts
Absolutely!
She a boss
Thaddeus Bilbo bingo
"The realest conversations about you happen behind your back"🤤🤤🤤That's sad but...FACTS!!!!!!
Yup
Yep
How?
and its NONE of my business.
SO TRUE
I didn't even know this. Thanks, put Charla in the shithouse even deeper.
AND even had i with dascha polanco as well on this show so wtf
KalphaO facts
She knows he just ignant... And in the end he is her friend...That is always the way
So Cthagod basically brought in his good friend Amanda the light skin version of Amare to explain to him colorism who ironically is rocking an Afro and African print clothing. Instead of just bringing Amara back, apologizing and having a true discussion 😑.
Temple of Jenni u sound like such a hater, Love your darkskin and be happy about it. She’s black, n she’s not even that light. Darkskin women come across as haters on the internet smh
Ameriican_idiot she light as Angela
Ameriican_idiot So because I call bullshit and acknowledge visual similarities between Amara’s interview and Amanda’s interview, which further proves how colorism works I’m a hater with no self love. Yeah, reading is fundamental.
Well Amanda was on the show last year too so what was the reason for that?
Keera Mathis I was commenting on her colorism portion of this interview as it relates to Amara’s interview. Her being there last year would be a mute point to my comment.
That Bo Derek braids Comment at the beginning😂😂😂😂😂
She throwing shade at Kim's dumb bimbo ass
Miguel Sandoval She shaded the hell out of Kim! I was looking for this!
Cardi do the same thing, showing her ass, but women say she is living her truth, but when it comes to kim its different.
slight shade
It's sad that some of you equate a woman's value or success by if she single or not. Forget that this woman is making moves , if she were a man y all Wouldnt have anything to say
Chauntrell Wright, most of the negative comments I see are coming from men though
Your life of no my life or hers my advice mind ya business and level up
Chauntrell Wright so I'm basing this off the comments I see from dick peddlers and hoteps that's a different topic for another time
Kayla O. I never said they we rent I'm talking to men and women
Tati Rodriguez she's afro latina...
They’ve been cancelled for me and I totally agree
Charmane is a troll how he don't understand colorism when all social media got on his ass about possibly bleaching his skin,?how he don't know about afro Latinas and they station based out of the most culturally diverse city in America, so you knoiw jamicasns Africans irish jewish all these people in New York you telling me you never seen a afro latina ,Stop It
Lulu060986 Well as far as I know she was born and grew up in America so she had a typical American education which is typically American centric and she maybe only is educated about Grenada and ignorant about the other countries. It is still lame that she doesn't know about the other islands though.
Afro's are coming back!
they never left. *eye rolls
Where did it go?
I got a twa!
Trends come in circles. Just a matter of time.
Talibandz Entertainment they been here
Amanda is so down to earth and cool.
Women just got to remember that the men who be commenting on social media don't represent all that the world has to offer. They are just a small few, insecure & bitter with a terrible outlook on life. Believe me better men are out there. Strong black men who love strong black women.
Kassie Mitchell With this new trend of "men r trash" bs going on some only focus on the negative.
Kassie Mitchell It's a war going on forreal, shit just needs to stop. Too much bashing going on on both parts. If someone does some bs single that person out, don't throw a whole gender and race under the bus.
Stay Alert Stay Alive I agree.
Always liked Amanda Seals. A strong intelligent, beautiful black woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Fellas that's who you want in your corner!
Dexter Thompson
No it's not
Please Explain k
Dexter Thompson no thank you
Oh
People are in title to their opinion we don not have to agree but respect one opinion .
Ugh this comment section is wild. There is a HUGE difference between feminism and misandry
Facts.
People mad because she can be happy by her self .she don't need a lover to enjoy her life
Marvin Santana How do you know?
Marvin Santana Interesting
Black women have to stop thinking that needing a man is negative. If you’re a heterosexual female, being with the right man brings you a natural balance that being alone or being with another female will not bring.
Infallible Beauty and Cosmetics omg you said exactly what I be thinking all the time when women claim that don’t need somebody
Double D’s of course but I rather be alone than just any ol body like Janet said I get so lonely but can’t let just anybody hold me
People push you and then be surprised when you trip!!!! #Facts ON Facts!
Ebony Bagley I'm borrowing this quote lol
Yup
They aint suprised..they trolling you for drama..
Nae H False
Chris Hansen I’m completely valid. I’ve dealt with “some men” and those men have verified my claims. Get over it.
Nae H I agree! Because if I see bullshit coming from my woman then yeah I’m a question it. There shouldn’t be a problem with a woman doing it.
micheal fuller thank you! whenever a woman questions a man, he thinks she’s stepping out of place. you’re my man, not my daddy...women can’t even have/state opinions without it bothering some men. something has got to give!
Girl you 100% right when a man says that just laugh and move around dont acknowledge that lie...feminism has nothing to do with disrespecting men.
There are a lot of pretty women who find themselves in a unsafe situation where they smiled and complied just to get out alive.
that fro is EVERYTHING mama! 😍
Relax sis.
SolSearching facts 💯
Ana Lee I'd date her
PREACH
Ana Lee How tf would you know who checking for who?? Your ass leaving comments too anybody checking for you? Her problem is all the finger pointing and blaming. Like Katt Williams said, "maybe she needs to find out what it is about her pussy that keep attracting ain't shit niggaz." All I heard this interview was bitching. Plenty of good men out here. Sometimes women need to look in the mirror. It ain't always us. Just cuz u successful she go back to her big ass house lonely AF!!
G. HURST facts
So she can wear an afro and not be put in a box but Amara had to be attacked and belittled for her stance on hair and colorism...
Nubian87 x I think she was proving a point without having to say it. #colorism
Luh Man colorist views are a real problem. Perhaps watch the documentary Black Grandmothers In the Closet. It’s a real issue and people like yourself refuse to do research out of pure laziness. Getcha’ education up.
JustKenn who is yall
fsamedi colorism colorism colorism
Luh Man COLORISM IS A REAL THING. ONE THING PPL CAN DO NOW IS ACTUALLY research and get the info needed to find out what's true or not. I KNOW 16 yr olds who KNOW first hand how colorism works. Sad to say it still exist in 2018.
I respect this woman's realness So much!✊🏽
i like her a lot, shes reasonable and she didnt tear down black men
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I work as a service advisor for the biggest automotive industry and based on what I have seen, 98% of professional black men that have stepped into my office for business are married to black women, not mixed, I mean black women. I've had family outings and exchanged visits with some, and to me, they seem very happy. Stop all these negative generalization of black men. Not taking away the fact that some brothas have a lot of growing up to do, I just think it applies to sistas as well. All these blame game hasn't and won't help.
She said 'some'
I think those men who are married are secure with that they wanted, which was to be in a solid relationship.
She stressed went out of her way to stress that some not all. I think that's why true conversations are hard to have because ppl don't listen.
Women need a man, but women WANT MEN...case closed.
Hb 2N ...you're not making any sense...
Tafari The Tireless REAL
I echo these EXACT sentiments. Everybody wants to blame the other person and not take responsibility for their actions. Then we wonder why our community remains disassembled and stagnant
Bitches ain't shit mah nigga. Aint shit
Not only do I love her more, I love the energy from all of them in unison. Great interview.
Happy Black History Month 👊
Happy Being BLACK DAILY...celebrate everyday!!
queen84aw ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾😘
it's not the truth in the power it's power in the truth
With the power of my dashiki, I approve this video.
Yung Nasty Man smh
😂😂😂You hilarious for that!
Yung Nasty Man -- what a demonstrative display of Male bravado, y'know, that's usually indicative of some form of dormant, latent homosexuality...
It's a dashiki, man, wipe your mouf... smh
Yung Nasty Man you a clown ass nigga you simp
Yung Nasty Man 😂😂😂😂
i love these amanda seales interviews
Chris Hansen sounds like the ugly dudes are fed up😂
Sadie Hill but don't think that it can't be that she isn't the problem and to masculine
They are stuck in that stone age way of thinking. Catch up.
exactly. most men aint shit either, broke and ugly.
GarageStudio Yeah, she seemed to go light on Charlamagne
He's bleaching? He seems pretty dark
Peighter couple years ago he used to be darker.
These comments of her being a lesbian , based on her being aggressively opinionated supports what she’s pointing out when she states men feeling like they’re looked as being less than because a woman is showing her own strengths, instead admiring the strengths in this woman you’d rather put negativity in the comment section.. 🙄 (she can’t find a man ) half the chicks you follow don’t have a man of their own and the ones that do have men that type comments like these 🧐
Naci chosensoulsista goes both ways....women call men gay when speak negative facts of black women
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
He asked her "are you sure it's not all in your head" No he knew what he was doing please
Exactly, she tried to cape for his blatant ignorance
He conveniently forgot that smh
He absolutely knew.
That type of conditioning effects you deeply and not all of us are properly equipped to handle that so yeah she has to work on herself just like you and me do but I wouldn’t be too hard on her
beautiful woman with a big personality. had a crush on her since "my brother & me"
Oh shit, that is Deonne! I thought she looked familiar!
I love her personality in this interview. Great energy and intelligence.
Beautiful Intelligent Black Woman 🤤
Correction: Black woman.
F Gomez Lol
F Gomez
False. The term “Black” is used to refer to dark-skinned people especially of African and Australian Aboriginal ancestry.
Damn y’all some fools idgaf if she was born on mars she black
Secondly she was born in America once again y’all take another L
Lol I don’t understand how guys see her as masculine. Like what’s manly about her...her outspokenness?.....her control over how she wants to live?....Her opinions on the type of relationship she wants to put herself in? I mean she doesn’t dress masculine so what’s so manly about her? Someone please explain
Olivia 5757 Good question. They mostly just talking that pressed shit talk. 🙄
She's loud and outspoken and I guess that makes her masculine. smh.
Shout out to the BClub. Love love love to Amanda
OoooOOOoo this oughta be good. (Rubs hands together like Stevie J)👏🏾👀😂
Chiemeri LOL 😂
Yepp! *Rubs hands together like Birdman"
🤣🤣🤣🤣literally laughed out loud
I gotta question queen, do women take accountability for anything in life? (Regarding men & relationships)
DashO, Yes but I rarely see men do the same. I mean, women are told by society and the media (especially relationship advice books, and these are mostly aimed at women) that they should change the way they are just to make men happy enough to date them, men are not told or taught this at all
As a black man I have to admit... Shes right asf.. We need to start listening to our queens. Sn: Her laugh is cute asf lol
HOLY HORUS That works both ways. We need to listen and they need to listen as well and we come to an understanding. Won't work just one way.
Stay Alert Stay Alive you're right but it seems like men are stuck in this misogynistic mind frame..
HOLY HORUS Not all of us, just like some women want a man they can run all over but not ALL of them. That's never gonna change imo.
PlasticRa I said men and women need to listen to eachother and that triggered u to say a bunch of dumb shit. Lol man gtfoh
HOLY HORUS
If you have to "listen" to a woman than you're not leading her.
I asked him why would you break up with me to go to a situation like that 🤣 he told me he felt “NEEDED”
oh, wow!...he would stay his needed ass over there!
simply p his loss.
Wow, that's deep. The need was so strong that he changed his whole lifestyle.
simply p what a idiot smh
Frantzy Derose 😂
Why are dudes mad in the comment section? Lol. Meanwhile I liked this interview! Bring her back!
ya city nothing like New orleans they salty af
They are insecure and afraid
mostmost1
Or maybe men are sick of the double standards and hypocrisy
If a man were to come on this show and say the same thing about women I'm sure women would be trying to boycott or calling CTG a woman hater...
AlanaB Beauty she always find a way to bash men
Please Explain get over it and man up. All this whining is bitchy
Smart and intelligent sister love when she on the show
Andon Christian El some one gets it ❤️
Lah Body yeah I do get it. A lot of men got some awful comments about her. Personally I love a woman who can think for herself.
Prafit Yulyus you mad at me for what
If this is an "intelligent" sister our race is doomed😭
X o Cue the "let me try to emasculate you for daring to disagree with a woman" rhetoric.
I didn't think I could patiently sit through a 56 minute interview but Amanda Seales fascinates me. ♥
I can’t get enough of cancer women their confidence is a mad turn on. She perfect and speaking truth, a queen.
TheMg44563 😂😂😂
She's a Cancer? Makes sense.
Jin J guess I'm alone in this 😂😂😂
Thank you 😚
Damn too bad CANCER men lie and are emotional trainwrecks
CthaGod and Dj Envy need to just accept that "L" they got for their ignorance in that Amara Interview !
She said gather her “like a ponytail “ 🤣🤣🤣💀
Yassss Amanda got these men PRESSED in the comment section! #youglowgirl 💕
Read the comments on Nia Long's, Amerie's, or Kelley Rowland's interview to see what men find attractive
Again, PRESSED 😂😂
Marvin Santana lmaooooo. She’s speaking honestly on situations ALOT of women go through. But you’re too shallow or basic to listen. How about you meet me at the shrink to discuss you’re hurt 🙃.
there is nothing wrong about a rebuttal to ignorance. this girl has penis envy. no one is pressed
Actually no
The comments really do show how right she was about everything she said in the interview. It’s sad. Y’all really do hate women with every fiber in your being.
Luh Man How is she bashing men? She's talking about some men that she's had negative experiences with, just like how men come up here and speak about their experiences with women
They just don't like her
You could say the same thing about women & if someone did you would have a problem with it.
Jessica Lumière they do..I think is because they have lil dicks
Luh Man u sound gay
I noticed a pattern with Cthagod... he be nice as hell and attentive to the light skin women guest like angela rye, cardi b, and Amanda seal but be hella disrespectful and dismissive to the amara la negras and the Monique's...
Kristmaz8 He really is a self-hater.
He wasn’t disrespectful to Issa Rae though 🤔
Kristmaz808 I'VE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING! 💯👏✊💯👏✊💯👏✊💯👏✊💯👏✊💯
Frederick Williams Jr. And that means what exactly!?
MrsLegit Parttwo
That means y’all seeing colorism where there is none.
@facetothe light Damn talk about generalizing...
Cthagod interviewed an afro latina on his podcast Brilliant idiots so im confused still how he came at Amara
Yeah saying I didn't know never had that conversation before he had the exact same conversation with those girls on the brilliant idiot and acting the same way he did with Amara dismissing their struggle with Schultz which makes it worse
Hawa Amie N good point
Hawa Amie N exactly!!
Hawa Amie N u nailed that right on the head. Damn he sure did. Trolled Amara. Remember CTG is a puppet as well
Isn't Tahiry Afro-Latina? What conversation are you referring to? Juju was on the TBC also and she is Afro-Latina too.
unapologetic and confident. im a fan.
Grenada is a beautiful place.
Kay Hay Home of Tall Pree and de jab jab
Yes indeed 🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩
if you can't even admit that the aziz situation was just a female trying to make a come up i don't need to listen to anything because you can't keep it 100
Candace H i did hear her try to make an excuse or a way out for the girl and still put the blame on him "it was a dude acting up doing to much"
Verse Mall he was tho. He wasn’t wrong but he should have been able to tell that Ol girl wasn’t feelin him. Women make it obvious enough. I agree that Ol girl was tryna make a come up off this #metoo shit and snatch a check
TheBlackAnime then she should have spoke up
I actually would take Aziz side in this scenario, but with that being said this women chose to be anonymous. So how exactly is she looking for a come up?
What come up? What would she get out of it?
Amanda Seales is a real one!! Love the way she carries herself! #girlcrush
DiverseLA
I usually like her. But she contradicts her self at times.
+french role -- Wendy Williams, like a lot of (Black) women, is a hypocrite who wants to box in men and prevent them from expressing themselves freely as much as women can. What in the world does saving money have to do with manliness or femininity? I think I'll sign up for Groupon just out of defiance to her man-hating BS.
frenchy role girl stop being an handmadien
+PlasticRa -- Yeah, how dare a woman agree with anything a man says that does not follow the feminist anti-male dogma!
My advice to young black men will be to travel. Get yourself a passport just escape from America, when you get a chance.
Why is that guy in the background always so tired
Naft Rowfl hes probably an intern
Hilarious. LOL
😂😂 always wonder same thing!!😭
I'm definitely a fan of her realness. She's someone I could see myself being genuine with.
Morglife Dib3 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Black boys are taught to worship women.
This is literally the premise of Devon Franklins book 'the wait' - maybe he's on to something
Morglife Dib3 truth
Amanda is cool as shit! Keep it up Lady!!!!😆
Great interview. Amanda is really everything though. I like when Angela speaks up. She does her research and has insightful and funny things to say.
Damn all the hurt men in these comments. Generalizing nothing she said but forming your opinion around your assumption because of what she stands for. If you feel the only way to have a healthy relationship is for you to rule over your woman or deem her position less than in comparison to you than you have no business being in a relationship.
Rane J. They’re are so triggered
Rane J. I know I don't see what see saying that so bad smh
Women don't respect a man in a lesser position that she is.
beautifully said..
Love seeing *Amanda seales* again on breakfast club such a strong and smart black woman.
Kung-Fu Kenny Family you people use that term to loosely
Charlemagne the spokesperson for Cetaphil..
Black Man! Stay Loyal to the Black Woman! Black woman stay Loyal to the Black man! #Facts
She’s ways well spoken and consistent. Loved her since my brother and me! ❤️✊🏾
Her hair so beauitful her spirit is so sweet and she is dope 🎉🌟👊🙌👑
She's on her come up. I hppe she explode cause she is dope. Wishing for her all the best😘✊
CDG is paying a lot more attention to Amanda than he did with Amara.
Troy Mason Well Amanda is his friend of more than 10 years. He don’t know Amara.....
So it has to be that she’s light skin ? It can’t be that he’s known this woman for years?
All this being said I still like CDG and the breakfast club and was just trying to point out he shit.
These men in these comments are sooooo hurt 😂😂😂 I fucks with Amanda. Feathers are usually ruffled by the truth...
AshtheAlpha Wolf What truths do you speak of?
1cjoseph11 too many to name sir
AshtheAlpha Wolf So name just one...lol
Amanda Seales is so dope. I love her break down on "Need & Want" when it comes to relationships. She used such a great analogy when explaining it. One in which I relate to especially since I am currently a solo poly single parent with a strong guard on my autonomy and I don't desire codependency. But the people I choose to keep close to me are based on amazing bonds that I love and WANT to keep in my life. The #FreeSpirit is not meant for everyone!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💯
She's sitting among two men and neither cross examined her bs
Mike G because they friends smh
Mike G Cause they don't want to ruin there relationship with feminist there the new homosexuals bully crew. But the difference is they don't get any resources or power for it.
Why did she need to be cross-examined for speaking facts?
opinions are not facts, she is very opinionated but not very informed.
That would go against the standard of holding women accountable in today's climate.
She is amazing! Intelligent! Super Gorgeous!
mujaahid72 no she isn't
This woman has all of the tools of success. Like lockdown. Wow I'm so impressed with her and so inspired. Thank you again for putting her on your show. I will be watching the other interview right after this. What a blessing.
Mmm, she’s right about a lot! Her demeanor may ruffle a few feathers but I like it 😏 #preachsis
Sonya K Tv she is NOT right..
Thank you for your feedback, She talked about more than men if it that’s all you heard then oh well! Anyways great opinions everyone ☺️
This woman seems pretty awesome. Strong, tough, smart & sexy. I’m now a fan.
Hats off to you Amanda, you came with so many bars in this interview
Just imagine if any man were to speak like this about women! Would anyone give them this kinda platform ?
Nope
🤔 it's called 'rap music' and several of those young men have been on this show
men have been speaking like this about women since the beginning of time. it hasnt even been 100 years of us women having rights, so let us shine.
🇬🇩 Clearly Amanda is being nice... In Grenada we say "No long talking" a.k.a. get to the point, don't waste my time. Hahahaha 🇬🇩
@Red Sunshine, it's called being rude Sweetie. Act that way if you want, but don't be mad at people for calling you rude if you want to be unapologetic with your rudeness.
This woman had me smiling the whole interview she’s so personable
My god I love this woman!!!!!!! So passionate and REAL!!!
She is super funny, I could listen to her all day!!!
The fact that she's Grenadian won me over 🇬🇩 shout to all the Grenadians n other islanders in the Caribbean!
Did Angela Yee say "sometimes we need to make men feel necessary..." Did anyone else catch that??? WTF!
313designs is that a surprise to you that she said that?
You gotta point...I'm not surprised....lol
its just funny how she said that in a room of MEN and none of the MEN caught it LOL
313designs so what punk,, grow some balls stop crying
Scar Face
Typical white night mangina simp response
Amanda Seales is the new Abbey Lincoln. Folks think that you're just supposed to sit there and be pretty. She speaks. Thumbs up to her.
I literally did not want this interview to end 😫
18:13 for those that want to hear about the Russell Simmons situation.
Probably one of my favorite breakfast club interviews. Girl spits so much truth
This comment section is literally showcasing everything they just discussed 😂
ADANNÉ SERIOUSLY....!!!
ADANNÉ your forehead going crazy shawty let that pony tail go for a bit
Zahra O "deadass bruh" -- Black women and their masculinity lol
If we made a list of female insecurities, it would be longer than the entire comments section. Women, especially Black women, love criticizing & blaming men while spending no time analyzing themselves and taking accountability for their own choices & actions.
ADANNÉ 😢
I really really love her. We need people like her.
It's an interview, she's suppose to give her opinion.
I feel the same way she does about some men and their behavior towards women.
You look crazy too.
Terry Tinsley Who your mom?
George Houston We are all crazy in some form, what's your level? Mine is on point...
TheMg44563 What are you asking?
The Million Man Movement Women have a hard time because some men cannot accept the fact that we have interest outside of being domesticated...
We all have to be held accountable, this does not only pertain to women.
Insecure men will be offended by this interview (without even watching it in it's entirety). The truth hurts!
Be G She ain't spoke a bit of truth. She just finger pointing like a 5 year old. Maybe she needs to look in the mirror. A lot of men don't like women. Women like HER!!
Gosh I've been watching these video for 4 days now. Finally finished it
I love ❤️ a beautiful intelligent woman that knows her worth and wants to be respected.
