SLA resins need special dyes that are still UV transparent, otherwise they prevent the UV from getting to the resin and curing it. That's why you're getting pancakes - only the very bottom surface of the resin cured leaving liquid resin between that and the plate. Mixing resins at least ensures that the dyes are correct, but many combinations won't be chemically compatible.

Through extensive testing it has been determined that 50 year old single malt should not be mixed in with the resin or the printer operator

I used to use polymorph back when it was a small brand starting up.
They have dye specifically for resin 3d printing. Normal dyes either won't mix or block the uv light causing the print not to cure. I believe anycubic has brown and light brown resin that might work.
After this video if Phrozen end up making a resin the colour you needed then it has to called Terracotta Chick or Terracotta Dab.
A Little Dab Of Terracotta
There are specific inks/dyes/pigments/colorants (whatever descriptor you wanna use) that are made for UV resin printing, but some can be a bit expensive and won't be compatible with every brand of resin, type of resin, or printer. Some brands do carry resins that are very similar in color to terracotta too. Just check to see what your resin and printer are compatible with first and use it as a jumping off point. You can even look up guides to coloring your resin for any future projects.
Mixing colored resin works well as you discovered, if you want to dye it, look for translucent dyes (they will look dark like ink) opaque dyes will block the UV light. I use trans alumilite dyes because I already had them for epoxy urethane etc.

*DO NOT MIX STUFF IN YOUR RESIN-VAT LIKE THAT!!*
Mix stuff before in a pan or pot or something, and then poor it in the resin-vat when mixed (like you did around the 3 minute mark).
Mixing it in the vat like you showed at the start of the video WILL DAMAGE the vat/fep in no time. And once that is damaged, or even punctured, believe me, you are in a whooooole heap of trouble when that fep breaks.

Love the art bro. I would suggest that you try to use gloves at least with your pre-cured 3D resin parts. The resin itself is incredibly toxic.

Goodness I feel your resin struggles… I have a resin printer sitting in storage that as long as i have owned it has been a never ending series of printing disappointments I tried the same methods to color the resin and it was always a challenge getting the exposure tuned after adding pigment. Have you looked at clear or translucent resins I would think you would have more capacity for colorant in those. Something that might also work is get close and then mix resin and pigment into a sort of stable paint and it is the correct color and paint it over the lighter print and then just use the curing station to set the “paint”. At least then it will be the same resin as the print and maybe better able to stick. Though i would test it first.

The problem with resin and mixing it with anything else is that the resin is already diluted or “saturated” within the liquid most liquids have space between the molecules that other stuff can sit in and every liquid has a maximum saturation and a “separation time” you can see this with mixing things like powder, water and oil, mixing them togeather, and then leaving them for an hour.
You can find mixing ratios and dyes for different liquids online.
I don't know why but the ending texture on dabchick makes me want to eat it for some reason

That last print you showed could possibly get even closer if you left it in coffee to stain a little darker/browner, since you don't want to use paint.
