Nice selection of cards! I like the Capital One Venture X + SavorOne. Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks for the feedback. That capital one duo really covers a lot of spending categories. Thanks for watching.
Great Job Brother. You definitely need to be in the youtube credit card recommendation algorithm.
I really appreciate the kind words and feedback. I hope you continue to watch and share your thoughts, comments, and recommendations.
This video would give Dave Ramsey a great laugh.
Iv never understood why people dont talk about the regular venture! 75k points for a $95 annual fee is great! Another great video
The Venture is underrated. The Venture X just seemed to take the world by storm. But with that Intro bonus being equal to the venture X, it is quite the alternative. Thanks again.
Excellent choice of cards bro! Appreciate the video 🫡
Thanks for the feedback Sledge. I really appreciate it.
Excellent video brother!! This was a great breakdown of what cards could be the best for folks looking to optimize spend. I really enjoy your delivery style. Wish I was this smooth. Good stuff man!! Keep up the excellent content.
Thanks you so much for the feedback. We are both new and working hard for our viewers. My wife watched you for the first time today and subscribed. Nothing wrong with your delivery. Thanks again.
Correction!: 6:02 Chase says "Secondary" CDW (on your screen) but you say "Primary". Flex has secondary CDW.
Thanks for the feedback. You are correct. I did make a mistake in saying primary CDW vs. secondary.
Thinking about trying to build the Cap1 duo for travel and Bill card for Hyatt stays
Thanks for sharing. That is a solid plan. You could have annual fees of either $95 (venture) or $395 (venture x), while covering the main spending categories and giving you very good transfer partners. Good luck.
Excellent video and great CC picks. The only thing with VX is they are hard to get approved for. I used Citi Premier + CCC, CSP + CFF + CIC, and Bilt. Wouldn't be bad adding the VX to my wallet. This is what works for me to pointstack my vault.
Thanks for the feedback. If I was including the business cards, you cannot go wrong with the CIC. That Venture X is a hard nut to crack. I continue to just have the Venture while my wife has the Venture X. I love points and miles because each person can have their own plan for success - no wrong answer. And because our goals change each year, you can do a 180. Thanks again for watching.
What about the US Bank Altitude Reserve? That card seems to be pretty strong despite not having travel partners.
Thanks for your feedback. I think it is a good card for people that like a good straightforward credit card. I believe until recently they required you to have a relationship with US Bank to even be eligible to apply. That is good. The multipliers and wallet feature are a bit unique which is good. I do like the card. I have just seen so much outsized value with transferring points to transfer partners for hotels (Hyatt - both low cost Hyatt Place/House all the way to high end for Park Hyatt) and with airfare (domestic United using Avianca and Delta and first class international flights). I love these types of discussions of sharing thoughts and opinions. The best part is there is no wrong answer because each person can craft their own plan and it can change based on goals. Thanks again for watching and sharing.
Great video and breakdown. All I can say is man Wells Fargo cannot add more transfer partners fast enough for reasons.
Thanks so much for the comment Matt. Wells Fargo has a chance to be an elite flexible currency if they can get those transfer partners rolled out.
I'm going to probably get the savor one card, but idk if I should get the 95$ annual fee version or get the free one.
For the annual fee to make sense you need to spend more than 9500 a year in dining , popular streaming and entertainment just to break even so if you do that than the annual fee makes sense
Not counting groceries sense it’s no extra
$9500 X 3% = $285
$9500 X 4% = $380
$380- $285= $95 break even on annual fee
I am going with the 0 annual fee. I appreciate Robert breaking down the numbers. There is just such a small difference of the multiplier benefit. I think that it should also be noted if there is any concern about the spend to get the intro bonus. $200 for $500 spend on the $0 annual fee and having to spend $3,000 for just an extra $100 ($300). Thanks for providing your thoughts and sharing.
Thanks for chiming with the numbers breakdown Robert. I love seeing that with the channel.
