Was there something you had to do to fix the problem? Do we need to do anything on our end? You can't access google in china unless you use VPN, as for alipay, you need to bind it to your phone number. Have a people from china to send you balance money to you, and you use Wise to transfer the money to the person.
Mine was okay, my mate didn’t set up his e-sim properly so as long as you do that in Australia before you arrive into China, you’ll be able to use google and all other apps. Also a good idea to get a china sim card when you get there as well. They’re super cheap and having a chinese number will be really helpfull too.
You need to say the name of the countries in mandarim otherwise people in China will never understand you. Vietname = Yuènán ; Australia = Àodàlìyǎ....
