Wow, what a great ride. Your video editing is what makes the difference between you and rest of the travellers. I'm catching up on all your past videos.
This video is amazing. Awesome scenery and extremely good editing - actually one of the very very few presenter-less videos, which are compelling and entertaining by just using images and music. Great job.
I really enjoyed watching this. The scenery is amazing. Where did you sleep? Can you set up camp almost anywhere? Are there certain forests where you are allowed to set up camp? Like in USA you can camp off the grid in any national forest. Is there something similar to that in Spain?
Thx Molly. I slept in hotels and hostals (because I like a good shower and a comfy bed!). I have no experience with camping, and I think it is not allowed to camp in Spain if the public land is not designated for camping...
Thank you so much for these inspiring films. Beautifully shot and seamless music editing. I've been thinking of exploring the Spanish Lapland area and you've convinced me to do it. I've looked at your wikiloc route, but can I ask what resources you used when planning this trip please? I can't wait to see where you go next. Keep safe.👍
Thanks for an amazing video, such a beautiful part of Spain. Thought I recognized parts of it from your Trans-Spain video. The drone footage adds a superb dimension to it too.
Thanks, Patrick! Indeed, it was on the 2015 TransSpain that I discovered this region, and more in particular the town of Cuenca and the La Raya cliffs !
Love watching your trips. that ledge on the cliff face took a bit of carrying to get too for me and on exiting it to the top but it was worth it. My memory of that day following your trans Spain route was the trail vanishing in a valley and walking along a dry river feeling a bit lost. Eventually I found another trail and got back on track. Got chased many times by dogs especially between Gorafe and Pozo Alcón in the badlands. They didn’t look friendly.
Hello Vincent, I went 2 times to that cliff; first time at night carrying the bike through the narrow passage between the rocks, and the second time I took the "easy" way climbing up starting at the lake. From both sides it's very nice, but the hardest way is clearly the most adventurous! Have nice rides!
Thx! Yes, the drone is absolutely a great way to shoot videos! In my country (Belgium) I'm not allowed to fly (very expensive to get a license!) so I can't practice. So the first days I'm losing some time on finding the right way to proceed, but after one or tho days it's nothing but big fun!
Great video, good use of the drone. Also looks like an amazing route. Thanks for sharing this video. I think you could get better image quality with RUclips's VP9 codec. I noticed that it was encoded with AVC1 -- right click on the video and select "stats for nerds", then you can see the codec, either VP9 or AVC1. To get the VP9 codec, you need to upload your video with 1440p resolution (or higher). Even if it was recorded with a 1080p camera, your video editing software probably lets you output the final version with 1440p. I know it sounds strange, but that's what RUclips does. Or at least it did until recently, you never know when they change something.
Hi, great video! I am looking at routes in Spain. When I go onto komoot and make a route it says it is 50 percent path, 10 percent gravel, 10 percent single track for example. What is considered a path in Spain?
Thank you for sharing these short films of you journeys across Spain. I’ve really enjoyed watching all your Spanish trips and one day I would love to do some trails in Spain.. Also, I am curious if this is a transition to drop bars for you and how did you find them on your long off road trip. Personally I love them and have flared drops on my trail bike.
Thanks for these compliments, Carla! I have drop bars on my road bike, but on this gravel bike I very rarely get in the drops; most of the time i'm on the hoods. These flared drop bars feel a bit weird, probably because I never use them. I guess I'm not flexible enough to reach that low, but I'm fine with the hoods! :-D
@@BikeTripsbe That's absolutely amazing, flying a drone while riding, and filming such fantastic videos.. Hats off to you! Best wishes for the future rides.. Cheers!
Thx, Alex! A MTB will be more comfortable on almost each kind of road/track, especially when it gets bumpy or rough terrain. But I like a gravel bike very much! When you're riding fast on gravel tracks, it's big fun! If I look a uncomfortable, it's probably because I'm holding the remote of the drone in one hand... ;-)
Stunning scenery and your footage of it all is at another level, love all your videos all the best stay safe and looking forward to more of your adventures🚴🏻👍👍ps what’s the backpack your using and do you find it comfortable?

I get my inspiration from the Internet too!
Thank you for sharing this video, the truth is that it is an incredible trip, although doing it in summer has its drawbacks.
It was in October; the weather was great: not too hot, no rain, not too much wind...
The only drawback for me is the days are relatively short..!
Love watching your trips.

It must be great living near Madrid; an bustling city with nice surroundings!
BTW, I saw the football game of Atletico against Real! (0-0)
