so happy to see the bull terrier on the list, i grew up with that awesome breed of dog. loyal, so fun, smart, protective, warrior, one of my fav breed of dogs!
I agree with most of those choices, but not the Miniature Schnauzer. Not for kids...I've yet to meet one that isn't snappy and who would put up with any accidental "abuse" (ear, hair or tail-pulling, accidentally being fallen upon, etc.) without retaliating. Not saying they're a bad breed, but I would not put them on a list of kid-friendly breeds.
Bulldog could of made this list easily it’s lazy it’s friendly kids could pull and poke on it all day and it would just stay there it would be a great kid dog
Really liked that yo recognized kid dogs have to be sturdy enough to not become afraid if kids accidentlly fall on them, tumble around them etc. Great choices. www.blogdog.info
Please do your research on the dog breeds before you buy one. Not saying that this list is bad in any way but there are more dogs out there that are more family oriented. Collies and Mini Schnuazers can be nippy. I have had 2 pitbulls with my 5 kids for the last 10 years, and recently, within the last year, got 2 Great Danes, and couldnt ask for better dogs around my kids than these.

I had them growing up and NEVER had a problem with them being nippy. They were always so sweet and so easy to take care of.
I have a beagle they are cute as babies and when they are old
