can you explain(if you don't mind) what makes egg retrieval horrible?
@clover it's after the procedure. You're preventing the setting of OHSS (Google it sis). It's very painful so drink a lot of Gatorade and urinate frequently. You will have to force yourself to urinate at first and its so much pressure and pain in your lower abdomen. I was bent over walking for about 2 days.
@@daughterofzion3648 oh god! I'm not on IVF. I plan to get pregnant (if its God will) naturally but I asked because we don't hear much abt the physical process your body goes through. Nonetheless, I'm very happy you had ur healthy babies as God planned. Thank you for sharing. ill remember this if needed.

My homegirl had 3 kids, divorced her bum ass hubby got her tubes tied and then met the love of her life. They wanted to have a child together, so she went the IVF route and she’s super happy 💜 Aint nothing wrong with a black woman taking control of her fertility

I have never been through anything like this. However, I have had 3 miscarriages. Those experiences were intense and life changing for me. I literally thought something was wrong with me. I went from confused, to angry, to depressed, then finally acceptance that some things are out of my control. I’m happy to say I have three beautiful girls after suffering multiple losses. And #4 on the way. My husband is really hoping for a boy. Either way it’s a huge blessing.

This is such an inspiration for me as I just turn 40 and needs a baby/child so bad. I finally decided to go thru IVF only to find out I have multiple fibroids. That still isn’t gonna deter me as I’m doing surgery to remove them then back to IVF. You were super transparent about your feelings and everything. Girl that depo shot messed my whole body up I was like 16 when my mom put me on it on purpose just to make me get bigger because she was jealous of me but now I’m 22 and engaged and been tryin since 21 and nothing never happened yet I’m still not pregnant I been through a lot depression and all cryin and sayin to myself like Y I can’t get pregnant but now I had make a doctors appointment and just go and see what happens then I been preying and I’m not goin to stop preying because this what I really want my periods are very irregular also girl u are blessed and more blessings to come I’m so happy for you 😍 god bless you hun

yes depo shot stop me from ovulating and have no periods it actually cause infertility even the pills cause that to and cause cancer
@@Diamondgirl-kp2yv same thing happened to me when I was on the Depot shot I got off of it and didn’t have a period for a whole year. Couldn’t get pregnant but two years later I was able to conceive a child
That depo is terrible I wasn’t even on it that long and it made me bleed for months and massive weight gain it has never messed with my fertility tho I never even knew it could cause infertility 😢

Sooooo happy for you! It took me and my husband 9 months to get pregnant and it was emotional and exhausting literally when I prayed to God one day and said I leave it to you Lord, I got pregnant the next month without even trying to try 😂🙌🏽. I’m newly single and never had a supportive partner (hence why I’m newly single) and he’s gone so I’m left in this position alone and whenever I see pregnant women with supportive partners I wish I was so blessed to have tht, I feel so much guilt crying wishing I wasn’t in this situation because this happened for me and I’m miserable about it while so many women are trying. How are u able to handle it by urself? Do u worry?
@@houston10 I would be lying if I said it was easy. I wish this platform had messenger part so I could really express my thoughts and answer that question thoroughly. It's like a run of the gauntlet, we go through this extreme experience and we give it all we've got. Leaving it all out on the table hoping and praying to come out victorious. I keep moving forward knowing I owe it to not only myself but my hopeful future child brought into this world as a gift from a warrior.
I have PCOS and I’m dealing with infertility I am 31 years old, and I’ve been trying. I started the IVF in 2019 but I stopped, and in 2021 I hope to be starting back going to my doctor for IVF.
I deal with the same thing love. It was rough. By no means am I doctor or anything but the EU natural conception supplement off of Amazon helped me get pregnant before i could even finish the bottle. I took them as well as my husband. Not sure but maybe it could help you too! 💕

I was on the depo shot for 2 years and after I turned 18 I got off. After I got off my period was the same way. Super crazy and came and left when it wanted to. I have been with my husband since I was 16 and we've never gotten pregnant. I am 32 years old and still haven't went to see a specialist. I'm exhausted. Mentally and physically exhausted 😔 NOBODY knows what this process is like until you actually have to go through it. I have given up but Thank you soooooooo much for sharing this. Seeing others have success gives even the smallest glimmer of hope ❤

Depo wiped out my period for YEARS and I didn’t ovulate for even longer. I stopped taking it, lost weight, started eating healthy and after doing the DHerbs cleanse I got pregnant. Unfortunately I experienced 2 miscarriages back to back but the 2nd one I was 18 weeks which was extremely difficult and I wanted to give up but my doc said he knows what I need to do. In my next pregnancy I got a cerclage and had weekly injections and I was blessed with my son. It was a journey but it happened. Now we’re on a journey for baby #2 so I pray it happens for us again. It’s not easy when you have to go through so many steps to get pregnant and carry. I pray for everyone on a baby journey…it’ll happen!!! 🙌🏾

My wife and I just signed our paperwork and started birth control last night (well she did) 😂 We have been trying to get pregnant for seven years after our first miscarriage. We watched all the preg required videos before signing, and I just feel heavy with learning all the risks and steps. Your video definitely made me smile and laugh knowing that we’re not the only ones obviously to go through this but you had a positive experience. My OBGYN would never let me get the depo shot because she told me it was originally for cancer patients to gain an appetite.

I had the same problems when I was younger with the BC shot. I'm now 40 and start my meds for ivf in 2 weeks. @henrythecat3094 no, my fresh transfer failed. Meanwhile, I got the rest of my eggs tested, which resulted in a frozen embryo tranfer, and from that, my egg ended up splitting, and now I have 1 y/o identical twins

My PCP advised me that the depo shot is not good he said it was a steroid …I used it for a short time and it made my hair fall out and acne I never had acne until I got on the shot. Thank you for

Same here. I had this acne on my chin that wouldn't go away for anything! I've experienced hairless, weight gain. My body would go out of wack before my next shot. It was too much!

I've been infertile since I was 13, 14 years now. I had just started my periods and when the doctor told me and my mom that in order for me to have regular periods I would have to change my diet and exercise. I was only 13 I had no clue about eating properly and exercising. And 14 years later I've had 3 blood transfusions, still suffer from irregular periods and still never got pregnant. Life is a circle, especially if you don't do things right the first time. After of having PCOS and being on birth control, that didn't agree with my body, I tried this apple cider vinegar drink from the store and my cyst dissolved! For the first time in 14 years. Now I know my doctor was right when she told me to eat right and exercise. Point of the story is Treat your body right.

I was on depo it took 4yrs to naturally get pregnant. No need to rush, me and my hubby got pregnant naturally because I am big natural remedies. No vaccines No steroids and now we have a healthy baby girl. Everyone is different but keep in mine patients is key you can't rush life. Depo was the reason you couldn't get pregnant but please be patient with your body movings forward cause the healing process after the baby take time.

I was starting to feel so much anxiety / unsure of what I was doing bc all those meds can be overwhelming but I got through it !! Also, for anyone looking into ways to pay for IVF, check to see if your employer offers progyny with your health insurance plan, they cover infertility treatment and there's no extra premium cost.

I know the feeling, I've been trying since I was 19 and nothing; I finally accepted bringing life into the world isn't going to happen for me. I changed my diet; exercised, I became vegan, no coffee, sodas or alcohol, no smoking, no sweets or anything that would hinder my chances of becoming pregnant.

@@user-nv4ql7mm3o According to my doctor, no and when I got a second opinion I was told everything was fine. Clearly not though because I was never able to conceive; that put a strain on my relationship and eventually we ended it. Note he was able to have two with his current girlfriend.
