In 1976 when I was 16 I owned a 1964 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door ,a 1961 Ford Falcon 2 door and a 1971 Mercury Capri 2000 I loved them all .I worked in a gas station after school and spent all of my money on cars . I was in Abilene Texas then the next car I bought was a 1971 Plymouth sport fury 3 from the Good year tires proving grounds in San Angelo Texas it had only been driven on a closed track that was meant to simulate real world roads . I love what you guys are doing here.
Been watching the Kate project from the very early days when on your moms drive. I’ve had a stressful as F of a week and watching your vids chill the 💩 out of me. Cheers pal
Just re- catching up now ..I remember the mum's drive bits which was un seizing the pistons . Every part of this project has been met with just niggly set backs but despite that you've plodded on. I've managed to get 3 grand saved up towards my Capri which will probably be a 1.6 Laser or 2 litre but I need at least another 3 grand ..I only want a fair condition one that drives and is mot'ed
I’m so impressed with your dedication Bud It takes time It’s an A1 Plus job, Everyone is rooting for you and Kate is Living your attention, She found you ❤, And you have evolved with her 🤔, Your mind is your most biggest Critic. Give yourself a pat on the back You Deserve it bud 👍
Love it! Fantabbi tozzi! Haven't heard that one in yrs!. 🤣 Always a laugh and an education for us non mechanical and panel beater 'Noddies'!. Nuff said!. 🙂👍
What a feeling, 4 wheels and she moves, now thats another milestone covered. As for the weight, either eat more donuts and pink wafers or put everything back😊, dont worry about it, im sure she'll sit dam well once everything's on, great progress guys 😉😊👍
These Pinto engines are surprisingly heavy. The 2.3L in my Ford Ranger weighs 389 pounds without accessories, around 185 kilos. Add Gav to the pile and see how she sits....
Guys I've mentioned a few times. But once again give yourselves a pat on the back as generally deserve it.. you've come along way mano. Kate is starting to look awesome 👌.. can't wait see this all fully built up. Keep smashing it guys 😊
Mano, Kate is just a rolling shell so don't worry about the front ride height until the rest of her is together. The rear looks to be a bit too low. I didn't see you fit the rear dampers. The engine/gearbox assmebly is the single heaviest part but with everything else, it should be fine. Congrats on getting her on all 4 wheels. The front suspension is really simple compared to (say) my 2009 Mercedes W204 C200.
Misty rusty love boys hours to build going you haven’t done any more recordings lately so how’s it going at the moment seven update on your channel please let’s see how are you getting on with it I love the mini like wheels what you are putting on it as well 😅😅😅😮
Just a little more grinding Tony it will be fine😂. That front hubs look good Not much left of donner kebab😂😂Basic works. Once the engine and box is in it will pull the car down a lot. You need me to sit on it 😂😂😂
Kate the capri coming back together nicely. Would you consider marking all the nuts and bolts with blue or yellow paint pen after fitting so you know they are all torqued to spec I worry something could be missed 😉
It will be a GLORIOUS day for all of us when Kate rolls out, finished and resplendant in her new coat of paint. Have you given any thoughts as to what colour you would like her to be Manno? And can you get Ray a bigger bucket for his tea/coffee. Seems like he could handle a bigger vessel.
Look how for you've come since you had to borrow a tow rope to drag Kate out. 10/10 Dude's
Thanks Bill, thanks for sticking around through all this time 👍
Great to see these old ford's come to life again. I am rebuilding a mk2 mondeo ST200 and its never ending. Good luck will be following you.
Thanks buddy!
I posted the video 2 days ago, with us driving kate for the 1st time.
Have fun with your project! 👍

One mano and one ray equals an engine and gearbox, top eppy lads
Man I just realized. That's kate. She's come a long way. Awesome....
Great to see her back on wheels, kudos to all of you, its really turning into something special
Will definitely drop loads when engine and box etc in there looks well though
She has come a long way from your driveway 👏
Looking good guys
Good to see you guys and Kate again.
I’m so impressed with your dedication Bud
It takes time
It’s an A1 Plus job,

She found you ❤,
And you have evolved with her 🤔,
Your mind is your most biggest Critic.

You Deserve it bud 👍
Great to see Kate back on wheels as she is starting to look like a car again now instead of just a shell.
Love it! Fantabbi tozzi! Haven't heard that one in yrs!. 🤣 Always a laugh and an education for us non mechanical and panel beater 'Noddies'!. Nuff said!. 🙂👍
Thanks Rob, glad you're enjoying the content 🙌👍😊
@@Classiccarbscouk No worries!, you keep posting em, we will keep watching them!. 🤣
Great to see Kate back on her wheel's overall she is looking fine, looking forward to the next update. 👍👀
Looking good and coming along nicely guys. 👍
Great going Mano...can't wait to see Kate finished. Well done.
Looking great gents 👌
Well, if you ever lost one arm, you at least know you can reassemble a car back together. 🙂
Looks like the washers on the anti-roll bar are the wrong way round. Needs Concave facing out not in.

After lifting Kate off the engine stands you shall be known as He-Manny.
Cool, this is exciting! It won't be long will it?
Looking good. Surely the engine, ancillaries, bonnet, bumper, lights, front seats etc will weigh it down at the front.
4:55 is she fit ? 😂😂
VOLVO! (which means - it rolls)
Between 15:05 and 17:00 you can see an interior shot of the exhaust 😂
😂 something went a bit off on the editing.. i'll have a word with our head editor
That had me baffled to 😂😂

Ray weighs as much as a pint Ali 😂😂😂
@@Classiccarbscouk 😂😂😂Am about 22 stone 😂😂
@Ali Mack- Mechanical Ali, you and me standing at rhe front of kate should sort the problem out 💪🙌
Are you going with the bumper delete? I noticed Ford Germany's MkI had it and it looked awesome.
No bumpers 🙌
Hahaha... mano manmoobs
