Just moved back to South Dennis a couple years ago after buying the home my dad built that I grew up in. Prior I spent almost 30 years in Maine between being stationed there in the Navy and staying after.

Moose, if you hit one in a car you get 700 pounds of meat in the windshield. I came within about 6 feet one time.
We had mink and otters in the French River area back in the 90's. And the beavers. Occasional black bear tracks spotted. In that little town we grew up in.
