    Great review!! I know the AirWrap didn’t work out for you but this is a fabulous alternative. I love my AirWrap but I think I would enjoy it even more if the attachments were a tad larger. I looked at the dimensions between this and the Airwrap and the T3 attachments are large enough to make a difference in blow drying. Specifically, the difference in size between the paddle brushes is almost an inch, which is a huge difference, which I think dries hair faster and is more comfortable for the user. The dimension difference with the round brushes is smaller but still makes a difference because it is closer to round brush size we would use if we were to use a dryer and a round brush. I thought you did a great job using the round brush, which is my preferred attachment when drying my hair. I think this T3 is a perfect alternative to the Airwrap for both cost and usability, especially if someone only wants a smooth blowout and doesn’t want the barrel attachments.
    Can’t wait for your next review!!! 😘

      Thanks, beautiful! That’s a great observation. I totally agree. I never thought about the difference in the paddle brush dimensions! It definitely makes a difference in the time.

      @@TheTessaStewart Yep I think Dyson needs to come out a longer version of the paddle and round brushes to better align with what consumers are used to when styling their hair. I think it would increase the overall experience. 😘😘

    You should get a keratin treatment. My hair is natural and I wear it straight and the keratin helps my hair to not revert at all! It’s been 3 weeks and my hair is completely straight with no flat iron touch up and I was a at rooftop party, that got rained on and my hair got wet but it was pin straight STILL. Try it girl! It’s the best no frizz treatment out there. ❤

    Thank you for this review. I too have the Dyson Airwrap, which I find was a waste of money... over priced and that filter! Despite cleaning it after every use, the airwrap stops working before I get a quarter of the way through my hair which implies the filter needs to be cleaned 🙄. I have other T3 tools which I love, so will add this.

      @@TheTessaStewart Hi Tessa, I won't purchase Dyson products going forward. The only things of theirs I still have that still work are the fans. Even their cordless vacs have filters that need cleaning "rinse under running water and leave to dry". Which made no sense anyway because all you're doing is wetting what needs to be removed. I replaced that with a Miele cordless vac which is brilliant. That aside, I went on to purchase this T3 Airebrush and have used it already - was absolutely worth every penny!

    Hi! New subscriber here ✋🏾 I am wondering why you use the plastic cap over the pre-sectioned hair when styling your hair? Is it to maintain the other sections from getting frizzy? I want to get this device for the round brush attachment. I’m so used to round brushes that I feel weird using the paddle brush 😅 great video! And your hair came out beautiful

    • @TheTessaStewart
      @TheTessaStewart  2 года назад +4

      Hi, friend! Welcome to the fam! I only use the plastic cap while filming. It’s to keep the sections from drying out before I get to them. I have to pause a lot during filming which increases the styling time dramatically. My hair responds better to blow drying when it’s still relatively wet. Hope this helps! ☺️🖤

    Do you think this would be safe on fine hair as far as tugging & breaking? I currently have a the Revlon round hot brush and it pulls and breaks my hair. I am interested in the T3 brand but don't want to buy and get the same results.

    • @TheTessaStewart
      @TheTessaStewart  11 месяцев назад +3

      I didn’t experience any breakage, but my hair is super thick. Honestly, I’d be slightly cautious. There are plastic bristles that mimic boar’s hair around each plastic “spike”. Those bristles aren’t very flexible and I do believe that they could cause breakage on fine or compromised hair with excessive use. Truly, the only way to find out is to try. I suggest buying it from Nordstrom. They have a good return policy if it doesn’t work out.

    Your hair looks beautiful. Do you experience any breakage & is it easy for you to retain length? I want to slowly start incorporating heat into my styling, but I’m trying to figure out how often to do it without causing breakage.

    • @TheTessaStewart
      @TheTessaStewart  2 года назад +4

      Thanks, love! I generally don’t experience breakage from heat. But, extremely tight ponytails have caused some breakage to my edges so I have to give up tension for a while. I, also, haven’t had issues retaining length throughout the years and I consistently cut my hair into a short bob then let it grow out. Prior to my last bob, my hair was bra strap length.
      I straighten my hair on a weekly basis, but I do see a professional for regular trims/cuts and color processes. I, also, deep condition and use multiple heat protectants every wash day. My stylist instructed me on what’s best for my hair years ago and I’ve been following that same routine ever since. Hope this helps!

    • @Lee-wb8mt
      @Lee-wb8mt 2 года назад

      @@TheTessaStewart thanks so much for your response! It sounds like you’ve definitely found what works for you. My hair doesn’t respond well to heat. I have finally grown it to back length, but I haven’t used heat in years.
      I have my wash day, deep conditioning, scalp clarifying rinses, trims and protein treatments down pat, I’m just not confident when it comes to heat styling. I twist my moisturized hair under my wigs and that has helped me to retain length, because there’s little to no manipulation, but I would like to experiment with natural styles. I guess I have to see what works for me. Thank you so much. 🙏🏾
