    I totally look up to you when it comes to hair styling tools. So yes please do hair tool reviews and research videos I'd highly appreciate it. Thank you for showing the research you did in the heat settings temperature table, very important.

    I've been watching for maybe 3 years and I really want to thank you for how much you've done for teaching me about curly hair. I still don't love my hair most days but I'm getting there slowly but surely and if it weren't for you tubers like you I'd still be having my hair break off everywhere

    Your results tho 😍, I've been seeing brushes like this *EVERYWHERE* it must be a sign to test it out 🤔. It also seems more gentle than using a flat iron too, def prefer the round brush side. Straight hair with body always looks so beautiful!

    I blowdry and straigten my hair every few months and my favourite technique is to use my tangle teaser detangling brushes to add tension at my root before changing to a round brush to tension the ends and finish drying. I could see a use for this tool for that technique but it's a hefty price to pay when you can just pay less for some brushes and a standard hair dryer. The results are great but it's not too different.

    It’s all to do with technique. Pulling down with give a flatter look and not that bouncy blow dry look. You kinda have to pull the hair down as you did then when you get to the bottom, roll the hair up with the wand to the head as if you were curling the hair up in rollers but you’re using the barrel brush head as it’s blow drying and hold it for a couple of seconds so the hair is drying and setting in a curl. Then you slowly uncurl the wand and you will have that soft blow dry curl. I have curly hair like yours and it took me a while to get the hang of it but it’s possible. I will say though it was damaging as you are using more tension and pulling and heat is sitting longer on your hair to set it. Plus unraveling your hair from the bristle barrel brush can be tricky but it’s a nice look 💕

    Hi Lana :) I have about the same length, amount and curl type as you do. Can you tell me how long it takes you to blow-dry your hair like this without filming ?

    • @LanaSummer
      @LanaSummer  2 года назад +4

      I think if I wasn't filming it might've taken about an hour. And then if I got better at it, maybe 45 mins

    Even with coconut oil heat protectant spray, my bondi boost blow out brush just doesn't get the curl out and leaves my hair frizzy, not laying down. I wonder if this would be different?

    • @geekygirl01

      Since it’s a blow dryer I imagine the bristles are nylon. Boar bristles wouldn’t last well with constant using on wet hair and heat

      Play around with it a couple of times until you find what works for you! I preferred the round brush side as it came out sleeker, I used the hottest setting and medium force, I went through my hair pretty slowly in small-ish sections xx
