Glad to see you finally got that high flow you been wanting, even though it might just be temporary. Hope it works out for you and you decide to keep it.
Everything is for sale for the right price. Nice to see you upgrading the equipment. I would never be afraid of buying something you owned because I've seen how you treat your equipment and how you maintain it
He could get top dollar out of the old 220. I asked him about it a year ago and said he will never sell it. Which I wouldn’t either. I love the machine and never been on it (his). All his equipment works flawlessly as they should. Except maybe the Colorado or canyon over at the shed that’s been there forever lol
I do remember a few days when you cursed that 220 as the DEF system gave you fits. And another time when some flying embers got you very frustrated, but all in all she has been great and made a lot of videos for you. Pretty sure you won't be using low flow for power raking any more. Raking and mulching just work better on high flow. Nice that you keep all of your machines top shape and take care of them. Pretty amazing how far you have come in these last few years Chris. You earned it and should be proud. Of course what do I know, I am just an old boomer sitting at a desk, but worked hard and long hours when I was your age. Glad to see it pay off for you.
Chris must have some pretty impressive systems in place to keep up with job quoting, contacts, work and equipment maintenance scheduling, property management, farming, and finances. He doing all that behind the scenes and editing videos. Whew!
Someday I hope to be able to buy a high flow skid steer with a really sweet mulching setup on it. I can’t get enough of those videos on here. The attachments they make for them now are totally amazing.
Kinda figured you'd end up with a high flow Takeuchi skidsteer after you seen the one that was used to mulch your fence line through the woods. It does seem to ride much smoother across the ground with those tracks compared to the other one. Not as much vibration in the camera. Should be a great machine for you if you decide to keep it.
It hasn’t rained here since May, we’re just now getting some rain and it’s not much but better than none! The grass was even turning brown here, hopefully this little bit of rain will help the grass before the winter!
Looks great, nice finish to the project. Nice looking skid steer, 500 hours should have any bugs worked out of it,doesn’t surprise me would want to change that rear door out, I know I would. Your statement that you made about the old 220 being run until it dies, all I have to say is, the way you take care of equipment, that isn’t likely to happen. Thanks for the update sir.
Well, another awesome job done with the homestead owner most likely extremely happy with his his property looks. Once the grass grows in It'll be parklike and easy to maintain. The new skidsteer should be a really good asset given it's a high flow model. Chris, I've no doubt that a good body shop could fix the dent so It'll look like new. Way cheaper than a new one.
I like to hear the fact that you are willing to keep a machine that works great for you until it’s final demise😊👍 thank you for your videos they’re very enjoyable
As good care you give your machines they still be like new when your ready to retire & who ever buys them will know they was well cared for if they watch you over the past few years ! The job looks great too & the high-flow really shows when you kicked the throttle up !
Many years ago I used to run a rubber, tired case 1085 with a ditching bucket, tickles me to hear you and DP talk about the flexibility and use of it because working on state highways cleaning out ditches that’s all we used very seldom had a digging bucket on it unless we are doing a culvert and that bucket hung off the front on a bracket I enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking your time to do a good video.
1 of the most important feature on the old 220, is that it’s paid for, it just makes money now, with the needed repairs it’ll work for several more years. When I got my truck paid off I was just a little bit more independent about the work that I did. I even turned some down.
@letsdig18 Started watching around the time you got the 220 and started doing more and bigger stuff on your own. So for me, that machine marks the start of things really taking off. I hope it never leaves.
Well the rains, work stopped, grass was watered and the ponds gained some water. Eventually this project was done - it looks great. New skid steer back door bump - the fleet continues the develop - thinking business owner.
That pond looks awesome now. If you keep this skid steer, will you trade in the other or keep it so you'll have more flexibility? I remember you saying the Ruckus Rake worked best with high flow and it sure seemed to. Happy early birthday, Chris. Hope your upcoming day is wonderful for you. Thanks for sharing.
That job has been the equipment breaking place for you. Upgrading to a high flow machine can open up some more attachment opportunities for you. Another great video! Thanks for sharing.
Yes Sir !! it did all turn out really nice Chris... Congrats on your New Skid Steer !! The slope on the dam really does look a lot better now, Owner should be happy with everything !! Looks Great Man !! Great as always !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the next !!
Haven’t heard you say “goopy” all summer!! 😂😂 It’s good that you take such good care of your equipment. That’s why it’s still worth the $$ to put a new undercarriage onto your older 220. It’s what sent you to the next level basically and here you are today! I understand why it’s special to you. It helps that it’s reliable, comfortable and more than adequate as well mind you. I remember this pond was all sandy clay. You took some heat from people that said it would leak, but you said you wouldn’t do it if you weren’t confident that it would hold water. With the grass as nice as it is around where it wasn’t disturbed and the house & trees in the background,,,,, looks great!! Not every pond has to be huge when you’re finished to be a great looking pond!! I remember that small one you did with your uncle right beside a house in a very tight lot. It was small, kinda deep and had a great shape. If, and only if, you ever go by there a short clip on how that turned out might be nice. Don’t make a special trip though,,, you’re too darn busy! Take care Chris! 😊
I must say Chris you always do nice work Looks like you should get heavy equipment operator of yr award You do fine work because you care About you're work
Hope your test drive meets your expectations, you need a newer skid steer. Hi Robert - good to see you helping again. Hi flow should let you mow or mulch with it better as well as using the power rake.
Going to have to try out the bush hog attachment with the high flow skid steer now. I only recall seeing that used once at the start of the pond breaching project.
Congratulations on the potential new equipment. After watching you dig with the 330 then go back to the 220 you really notice the difference in bucket load size. Hope everyone is having a great day. Edit to add. Have you had a conversation about designing a thumb for the 330 yet?
@@dansbrown1313 Thanks, it would definitely be a big thumb. Realistically that is not the role of the 330. I asked because I thought he had mentioned it when he was still deciding on which machine to buy.
@@dennis2376 Thanks, apparently I did miss that part. I watched when he got it but many times I have in ear buds and am doing something else and apparently not paying attention.
Chris, You Complete the Equipment always with very good new Machine. The new Skid steer to harmonize to Your Machine Park. Then finishing up you a Project what You very important is. Your insertion always 100 %. Interesting Video thanks

Thanks for the video Chris. Robert seems like a great hand to have around. Is he someone you pay to come in and help every now and then, or a friend or family? Have a great day!
Chris, most High Flow is restricted by quick couplers. Check the couples type and look them up for maximum flow, you might be surprised that to find how much you are restricting the rake.
Run until it dies, park it at the farm as an art or something? If you do that, you do realize that Matt from DieselCreek he’ll be coming around, and wanting to add this 220 to his own art collection of barn finds?
It’s looking good Chris as usual! The old 220 still does the job myself friend, I remember when you would take a log and smooth everything out and that was some sloppy stuff brother! lol 😂
You won't regret buying the high flow. Now you have something that can run a forestry mulcher. Glad to hear how loyal you are to the old 220. No matter what you buy it will always be my favorite. Given your ever increasing stable it may take a while to wear out the second undercarriage. The old 220 could still be digging holes when you retire... 😂😂
I know how you feel about the 220 . I used to run a Volvo truck it just ran and ran was well looked after sold it with nearly a million on the clock wish I had have kept it. Had it from new. Bought a replacement with less than half the miles as work had gone quite. The replacement truck broke my heart breakdowns nearly every day. I learnt my lesson
Hey Chris !! ""CONGRATS"" on another text book project as looks a whole lot better than the ""FROG POND"" you started with !! Hope 2024 is a good a year as this 1 has been for your business !! 👍👍👍👍👍
