It was a pleasure for Jason and I to meet you at the parking area near Hailstone Butte. We are both so jealous about your lifestyle. Enjoy & embrace. Enjoy your adventures here in Canada!! 🇨🇦
Glad to see you stopped at Wall Drug. 92 years and still going! If nothing else, it's a fun place to get lunch, and buy a mug. I first visited in 1967 on a trip to Yellowstone NP. Enjoy your adventures and drive safe😊
I hope you didn’t miss the authentic, stuffed Jakalope inside 😂. I was very impressed by it when I was about 9 years old. The larger than life one you showed that was nearby is new to me. Good luck with your travels. Semper Fi.
It was super cool to ride in the infamous 4 runner! Haha. All joking aside it was really great to meet up and catch up with you! I hope you have a great time in Canada!
4runners are the best vehicles ever. your 5th gen is gorgeous, i want one just like it some day. I've lived in a 3rd gen, now i have a 4th gen V8 that i used to pull an off grid rv for 1.5 years. It's unreal how reliable and low maintenance those trucks are! You are actually saving a ton of gas driving slower, especially due to wind drag. I only do 80 kmh (50mph) and I get up to 250 miles out of a tank towing an RV, or up to 400 miles with a V8 not towing. I drove like 20,000 km at max 80 kmh last year 😂 oh man that was a long drive.
Suggestions for CA Rockies when snow melts: (Banff) Moraine Lake/Sentinel Pass/Mt. Temple (might be snowy), Plains of the Six Glaciers, Mt. Bourgeau/Harvey Pass, Helen Lake/Cirque Peak, Parker Ridge, Wilcox Pass (Yoho) Iceline Trail, Lake O'Hara - Abbot Pass Hut (it's a beast-hut no longer there)/ the Alpine Circuit (Kootenay) The Rockwall Trail (Jasper) Tonquin Valley, Skyline Trail. I'd also suggest Berg Lake Trail (Mt. Robson) but it is closed. I've hiked them all at least once and they are all spectacular. CA Rockies are exceptionally beautiful! You can't go wrong with any hike. Canmore is a cool place to hang on a rainy day. Enjoy!!
All great suggestions! Also, check out the David Thomson Hwy (Hwy 11 - approximately 1/2 way between Lake Louise and Jasper) for some excellent hikes. It's much less busy than the national parks and some great random camping spots along Abraham Lake. You will need to purchase a wilderness pass for any overnight trips in this area, as it is outside the National Park Boundary. Ditto for Kananaskis country (yet another pass required to hike in the area, but well worth it!)
It’s always good to see that “it can be done” living on the road. Always learning something from you, Jay. Thanks for vlogging everything you do! Ps: how many miles you have on that SUV?? You and Tina are the absolute perfect adventure mates!!
I've been geeking out on your channel today. I skimmed the comments and the question has been asked three times with no reply. That's cool to not reply. I'm just thankful that you posted a video. But....lol... if you're featuring and item I think it would be reasonable of the viewers to expect a link to that unusual item. I'm talking about the cabinet with doors on the front and side. We would be very greatful if you add a link to the cool cabinet. Thank you.

I never thought of the impact of headwind on the structural integrity of a cargo box. Thanks for mentioning it.
Just discovered your channel. I like your style. Mixed bag of practical info, a little shopping, tourist info, etc. and humour.

Great video! Looking forward to more of this road-trip!
How are the stackable boxes doing? where to get it?

Rockwall trail requires permits which may be sold out… although I’ve heard there can be last minute cancellations

Sinclair is Top Tier gas so it is good (has extra additives to keep your engine clean).
I think Kroger has points can also be used at Shell
I love how you and Tina work out the long distance relationship!❤Wall Drug is a trip! Lol! Don’t miss Custer State Park!
Welcome back, looks like a fun road trip. Will you still do the Kungsleden this summer?
7-11 rewards program is pretty good. i remember there being a holiday discount and I got 18 cents off per gallon.
Good to see you back on the road. Do you use any of the camping apps like "The Dyrt" or others to find free camping?

I've been meaning to make a video of some things I really liked having and those cabinets and would recommend it to future car life people.
With two drawers already what do you need the cargo carriers for?
LOL, Jay. Sporting a Volkswagen tee whilst working on your Toyota.
Hi Jay, what is the brand and model of the awning?
👊👍Stay safe and take care my friend 🙏
Nice set up. Is the 4Runner your daily driver?
Hey Jay, if you like dinosaurs be sure to visit the Royal Tyrrell museum in Drumheller Alberta. One of the finest in the world.
