I like this setup a lot. Specifically in case of injury. I've been in a few situations where someone had to be rushed to a hospital and it took forever to clear out a vehicle and fold the seats down so we could lay them flat for transport. After that day I went and got a collapsible stretcher to carry with me when adventuring.

Awesome Video! Im looking to get in to Vehicle camping and have a couple of questions for you - Your vehicle - Why did you chose a 4runner, whats the trim / Year and how is it holding up? And with all of it set in the back - Do you have a separate daily driver? And you just use this as an Adventure vehicle? I would love for you to do a detailed video on your entire vehicle.
Hi Andy, I have a 2016 Trail Edition Premium. I picked it because I had a Chevy Silverado and wanted something smaller. It's holding up perfectly even with all the weight I put on it. I had been doing some camping in a van but after seeing yours and another RUclipsr named OXFOOT I went out and bought a 4Runner… so thanks for that. I plan on doing some winter camping here soon, can you recommend some good dispersed camping areas near Denver that are worthy of a stock 4Runner? Thanks Gobbler. Cheers….
I watch OXFOOT as well, he's good with gear reviews. If your 4Runner is completely stock, I would change the tires before attempting any winter camping for sure. For trail recommendations, I would start out with 550 (dirt road on the way to Wellington Lake). Mellow road with a fair amount of traffic if you get stuck. Not really dispersed, but there are some decent campsites. I go there when the snow is too deep everywhere else. Geneva Creek (off Guanella Pass) is more scenic, but snow gets deep and they close it at some point. Have fun where ever you go.
