This earth belongs to everyone not just a locals those living there. If they don’t want to deal with crowds they shouldn’t move there.

I am curious what lake this is. I live in Post Falls, and have visited many alpine lakes in the Selkirks. Harrison, Hunt, Fault, Roman Nose, Beehive, etc. Not sure which lake this is. Thanks!

Most of the locals in these parts will absolutely despise you for this and every video that makes it look nice and make people come there. Please don't help ruin what they cherish by putting up these videos. The videos are fine by themselves for the love of god, at least leave out the names of these places, please!!!

Getting to this lake is quite a journey, long drive, long hike and bushwhacking... I don't think this place will ever be crowded. We have been to similar places in Washington where the parking lot at the trailhead was full, but because the lake we went to was far and some bushwhacking was necessary, we were just alone when maybe 100 hikers were out around the trailhead.
Our goal is to show the amazing places that are in our area so motivated people can enjoy them. Usually the people that are out there in these remote places are the same standing to protect them because they truly know how amazing they are. So if we can get more of these people around here, we may do a better job at protecting this area.
I don't think hiding it or not talk about it is a solution. However thank you for your comment, and we will be thinking about how we can respect your (and others) point of view in our future videos.

@@PlantPositiveFilms Ok well I used to love going to that place 20 years ago when I was the only one there. Then one day I pull up to the trailhead, yes an actual trailhead that has always been there and come to find four cars from Washington parked there, haven't been back since. But ya it's a super far drive super strenuous trail with tons of bushwacking and hardly anyone can make it lol😅, but on the real it is populated with many grizzly bears and has had many come into camps even forcing closure some years. If you where talking about little Harrison all you said would be true, now that's a hike of a bushwack that I challenge anyone to do! Bring a fishing pole it's crazy stocked! Might bring a rope too! I really would love if you told people all these special gems are impossible to get to or just don't reviel there exact location I'm telling you please!!!! Sandpoint is a small town, and ALOT if people hate out of towners not to mention people that give away it's secrets, and then blast their faces along with it in their videos, you're an easy mark now. It's for your saftey my brother and sister. Personally I could show you places that blow that place out of the water and I would be happy to share it with you. I only have one stipulation when I show people special sacred places, only tell those in your inner circle, and to keep this place secret, sacred, special and honored or you are not worthy! The world is only getting more populated every day, every year the best places loose more and more due to the ignorant people that come along. Please Don't be one ok. Why do you feel the need to make these videos anyway?? More views? More $? More people to inflate your ego maybe? Just show people an awesome place? You can do that without telling the whole you tube community exactly where it is bro Come on now. Thx!

@@PlantPositiveFilms btw it's been protected wilderness for a while. Most wilderness areas are. Throw a bunch of silly humans in that wilderness with drones and other miriads of human bullshit well it's not wilderness country anymore, ever seen a city?? Thank you for your consideration

Thank you for your input, we will definitely consider your suggestions when making future videos.
We are not making any money from RUclips, and we don’t have many views, so that’s not what drives us to make videos.
The lake in this video is not in a wilderness area, it is in the Kaniksu National Forest. And this trail and lake are not “secret” and are in every hiking guides about the Selkirks. We actually used the trail description from “100 hikes in the inland northwest”, a book published more than 20 years ago. So we are not revealing any secret in this video.
Sorry if you feel like this video is disrespectful, this is not our intention, we always try to get people interested in protecting our area.
