I love how they never make a video just to meet an uploading schedule.. means the video will always have something interesting and not just be done gear review etc
I feel the same way. The video quality is amazing, and the videos are always extremely interesting, I think millions would love to watch it, I just don’t know how we could help get it out there.
@@ryanf.4149 whenever I see people talking about hiking or trail running in the comments of other videos I point. them here. Also we have the same name.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DRY HUMOR! And can we all pause for a moment and reflect on what kind of dedication to training, fitness, and health, it takes to do these adventures, and make them look like absolutely nothing. You guys are machines!
I live about an hour from Crater Lake. The prettiest place I’ve ever been to. Probably made 30-40 visits over my life and always amazed at it’s beauty.
You should do the Three Sisters Marathon this summer! Climbing all of the Three Sisters in a day, ~16mi ~10k vert I believe. Sort of the Oregon equivalent of one of those long ridge link-ups you tend to do. Seems like the kind of thing you'd be into, would make a great video!
When I saw Christopher's headband I thought that maybe in some part of the route some sort of tennis was going to be displayed... Anyway, your videos are awesome! Thank you!
This looks amazing. The music in between adds the tranquility and largeness of nature. Wonderful. Mother Nature is mesmerizing and put things in perspective.
This is what I need to find and create in my life - a group of guys who enjoy spending time together in nature. It does not have to be extreme every time.
Nice lads.. come back w your pack rafts and you can ski the Wizard Island cone! 😎 In 2010 I did a 3 day ski around the rim.. highly recommend if you dig that kind of ⛷⛷ing/snow camping. Cheers from Oregon
Was just there to snowshoe the whole rim for New Years, being inspired by this channel, so awesome to see them at the same spot and to think I could just run into these guys out there somewhere per timing.
Literally took a 10 minute break from work today when I saw the video came out. Love the channel and so excited for the next one, checked all the time after baker was released
I was in Crater Lake in the mid 1970's on a day when there was absolutely no wind, the sky was completely clear, and there was even more snow than you found. Standing on the rim you could tell up from down. Very weird feeling...but fun.
Last time I was in Crater several years ago, a massive wildfire was encroaching. They close the road and had us exist through the backside of the park. What a contrast in experience. Beautiful video work. You guys should go ski the Steens Range, Fields Station has a good milkshake.
I don’t ski. Your channel came up from the algorithm from watching cross country ski stuff. I watch you occasionally since last winter. As skiers you made the right choice. Over the past two weeks alone I’ve seen multiple avalanche deaths on You Tube with snowmobilers and snowboarders. As a video maker it was nice to see the view, thanks
Thanks for being awesome guys. I get way to excited to watch you guys have fun. I echo everyone else. You guys should easily be at at 100k subscribers. Keep it up.
Thank you for enjoying it a little less than you could have just to bring us along... i would never stop on that short a run to set up a camera. Thank you.
This is one of my faves for two main reasons. Love watching this trio. And finally one of your adventures I finally feel confident I could handle. I’m slightly older but 1/5 as in shape. Your adventures are hella fun!!! And the views here- magnifique!
Wow! the scenery is just amazing! you guys sure put in the hard work cross-county skiing it up to where you want to start from. but again, the beauty of that area is just astounding. congrats!
My friends and I In Arizona love watching your videos. Keep it up. Might I suggest a hike in Arizona especially during the winter while the Desert still has great weather. First the Flatiron trail via siphon draw leading into the superstition mountains. From flatiron peak (Best view of the Phoenix Valley) you have access to hundreds of miles of some of the roughest unforgiving wilderness area that's beauty will blow your socks off. You have never seen country like this. Maybe we will join you if you would like. Love the channel keep it up.
Used to be my local zone from Klamath falls. Check out Mt Thielsen and Mt Bailey in the same area. Also, you guys should ski Garfield peak next time. Park at the lower visitor center and find the ski track by the residences on the XC loop.
I don't know what's more amazing...Danny and his boys trapsing everywhere and doing awesome hikes/run/sking or that this channel only having 50.7k subscribers.
Glad to see you guys made it out to Oregon. We love to ski Crate Lake all winter here for the same reasons you did....safe and beautiful. You guys should definitely come back in the summer and run the 7 high points route around the lake. Awesome way to see every angle and get a big ~28mi day in. Its an FKT if you want to see the route. -Cheers!
Welcome to the PNW. We get a lot of snow, but this year seems to be a good year. Persistent weak layers usually are rare, but are extra scary. Right now the worst one is 2m down. Also, I've been to Crater Lake a couple times, but a winter visit is definitely on the bucket list!
Ive been in Park City for a long time. Ive never seen the avalanche danger this high! Good choice getting out of here! Good to see they have such a deep snow pack up there!
The Raven trail is a 100 feet to the right of the road and is marked with blue diamonds, but then you can park on the rim. Oregon's only national park is a special gem. Every few years I do the 1 day circumnavigation light and fast. Just did it yesterday.

This is one of the few channels on youtube where I close down everything to watch the video asap. Very underrated channel.
Same!!

True
100%
This channel is so underrated and deserves so much attention.
It’s mediocre at best, the guy is a simple amateur..... lol
Totally agree! Love these guys.
Legit, been here since around 10-12 k and the quality is always so good
Can you believe there are only 53K other intelligent fun loving outdoorsy people on this whole planet?
I love how they never make a video just to meet an uploading schedule.. means the video will always have something interesting and not just be done gear review etc
i mean, they've been posting semi-regular gear reviews on their other channel in between trips
I legitimately get giddy when I see a new episode pop up on my feed. How do we promote this channel so it can get the millions of views it deserves?
i share on FB. doubt it helps a lot but ....I also buy merch

@@ryanv1279 Yes brother, we do. This is by far the best hiking/running/skiing channel I have found on RUclips and one of my overall favorite channels.
Just liking and commenting helps if everyone does it
Crux of the climb: crossing the road.
Probably the only channel I would consider buying and wearing a T-Shirt
Those views are epic. Such a rad spot to go skiing
Yes! The best notification to wake up to. That powder was so awesome.
No need to splain the skiing.....eyes wide open! Magnificent!

The amount of snow there in June... is amazing.

Was wondering where the winter vids were, then I saw this!! Rad. Greetings from Bend, OR!
This is the most underrated channel on youtube! NEVER QUIT DANNY WE LOVE YOU ❤️
I'm with Matt in this: If it's pretty, I'm in. Full-on agree there. And those views were oh so pretty.
I’m with Amy on this one!
Sometimes it's all about the scenery and the skiing is secondary. Looked like a great day out!
Ah the great road crossing of 2021. Great vid, Crater Lake is forsure on the list.
The shot of the bird grabbing food from the ski was amazing!
This is the only channel that I have notifications for. That's how good this channel is
When I saw Christopher's headband I thought that maybe in some part of the route some sort of tennis was going to be displayed... Anyway, your videos are awesome! Thank you!
I’ve found terry cloth is the only material that will absorb the copious amounts of sweat I produce😅
i have never been there in the winter but film and pictures can't do this place justice, truely incredible location.
This is the first time that you guys have gone somewhere I have already been before! The view from The Watchman is amazing!!
Your videos are THE BEST media entertainment, PERIOD!!
Hope the algorithm promotes your stuff to more people. Top notch work guys!

Love your work. Been a fan since 100 Miles from Nowhere. Loved the bird shot.
Thank you for such an awesome morning wake-up.
This is such a great channel! Thanks for getting episodes out during this crazy season!
I agree!!! My favorite channel and what a view of Crater Lake. Excellent, excellent.
this is incredible. i almost cried at how pretty this looks
Literally took a 10 minute break from work today when I saw the video came out. Love the channel and so excited for the next one, checked all the time after baker was released
Mount Bailey. To the NW of CLNP is worth it. Big snow, huge descents.
I was in Crater Lake in the mid 1970's on a day when there was absolutely no wind, the sky was completely clear, and there was even more snow than you found. Standing on the rim you could tell up from down. Very weird feeling...but fun.
Just what i´ve been waiting for! Great to have you guys back for another one! Love from Germany :)
Crater Lake is stunning. Great spot to ski!

Mission accomplished Danny! That is beautiful!
Thank goodness for another MA adventure inspiration video. I was starting to get the shakes from withdrawal.
Thanks for coming to my neck of the woods. Beautiful video,
lol...just mentioning the word avalanche will cause one.
So true.
Love the videos!
He's back! I was worried after those skiers died in an avalanche near SLC, thinking it could have been them....
It’s been a super dangerous season everywhere
I’m glad you guys chose a safe place to ski. I live in western Wyoming and there have been so many deaths around here lately from avalanches!
Safe place, glad they got some downhill that wasn't so firm packed they could actually make a turn! hiking on a brick!
