I lived in CDA for years, I worked at Bardenay’s, cedars and now I do some seasonal work for a few businesses downtown, winter is a bit grey for me so I don’t live there any more 😅, valid points. Sadly we live in a world where people tend to complicate things 🤷 not only for themselves but for others because of engrained beliefs or opinions etc, I haven’t found a place where that isn’t the case 😅, I do have to say CDA is one of those “little cities” where I’ve always felt safe, walking downtown, day or night, there’s other cities I wouldn’t go out at night at all 😅 then again we all have different perspectives! Thanks for sharing
I suppose it depends on the type of job. I know a lot of businesses that are In desperate need of help, service industry is struggling due to the lack of people waiting to work. Im not sure about all the jobs but for example the restaurants in the area have great jobs with great potential for a good income.
Ive made 2 videos featuring my favorite restaurants and locals favorites, great food for a small city, haven’t found that in many places, at least 30 great places to eat in a few square miles I find that to be amazing!
not in my experience, like in every other place theres good and bad people, but the majority here is GOOD. I'm not from CDA, Im from Costa Rica, and I've always felt welcomed in this town. The news needs negativity to thrive, reality cane a lot different

What he is showing you is the CDA resort or the .25 miles on strip right in front of it where everything is 100% more expensive that normal. As an Idahoan I fee you need to know the truth. Great lake, but its like bumper cars out there, not joking. There are not literally 1,000,000 things to do here. Everything he showed you, you can throw a rock and hit the CDA resort. Evertyhing else, well, its north Idaho. Dont buy in to the lie unless you are one of those billionar types that wants to live in an condo 23 stories off the ground on the strip. There is real life happening here and real life crime spilling over from Spokane, Washington, just 25 minutes away. This man bun is just trying to make money.
Not sure how you think I'm making money 🤔I'm not selling anything, Downtown CDA is the most recognized which is why I filmed there, I also went down to mineral ridge, CDA lake drive to Higgins Point, also Riverstone and around 95. the truth is what you make it, There no deception here. If there's crime, I've only seen it at the gas pumps. this place is not for everyone, specially now with the price of everything rising, but that's not limited to North Idaho, thats life everywhere.
Agreed. I grew up there in the 90s and early 2000s and he showed maybe 2% of CDA. My mom still lives there and she’s been pushed to the low income housing because of what tourism has turned it into. It’s sad.
We moved to North Idaho over a year ago ... we live in Sandpoint and Yes ... the chemtrails are horrible. They're deliberately destroying this place especially since its a red state. Its sad
The walking path on minute 7 is the Centennial Trail, it goes for 24 miles from Higgins point all the way to Post Falls!

I only comment this because I feel like people should also be aware that it is a shitfest sometimes. All the beauty of the wilderness is a cover-up for the occasionally ugly inside!
There’s not enough jobs for people who want to live in; or near Couer d’ Alene; and it’s to high end for most people who live on a budget!
I suppose it depends on the type of job. I know a lot of businesses that are In desperate need of help, service industry is struggling due to the lack of people waiting to work. Im not sure about all the jobs but for example the restaurants in the area have great jobs with great potential for a good income.
Super red city, dont move here uness you are "super" red. No blue allowed here. Trust me.
Good, keep your homeless filth and mental illness out.
Super super red here 😂
Not sure about the FOOD "culture"
Ive made 2 videos featuring my favorite restaurants and locals favorites, great food for a small city, haven’t found that in many places, at least 30 great places to eat in a few square miles I find that to be amazing!
I hope Californians never get to ruin Idaho or Montana.
🤞
Don't come here if your a liberal. Its all conservative here about ad extreme as it gets.
dude, the man bun totally loses me. Go get a latte and a manicure. Where have have all the men from Idaho gone???
🤣
Is this town racist like America sees it ? It has came to spotlight years ago about it.
not in my experience, like in every other place theres good and bad people, but the majority here is GOOD. I'm not from CDA, Im from Costa Rica, and I've always felt welcomed in this town. The news needs negativity to thrive, reality cane a lot different
@@wollertz I appreciate your response but I'm talking for people that look of color or native. You look more Caucasian so your able to blend in .
@@son-in-law7372 I lived in Worley for a few years its in the Reservation, I noticed most people there chose to stay in the reservation, north Idaho in general is mostly white, that doesn't mean it is a racist placer a place that doesn't welcome other cultures. In my experience (and I have a lot of traveling under my belt) I would say the cultures choose not to come here for a variety of reasons, the weather, political climate, job availability, and much more, but not because of racism
@@wollertz once again. You look Caucasian. So you would get treated as white in white towns. But kinda how they say take a walk on my shoes to see that's what I mean . If they see me they know I'm Mexican or latino . But if they see you then see you as white at first till you tell them or speak Spanish
@@son-in-law7372 I would say its not so much the color of the skin but how the person behaves. When I go to a different place I don't bring my beliefs with me, I open to others beliefs and if I don't like them I go somewhere else, in Costa Rica it is acceptable to blast music at very loud levels from your house, I wouldn't do that in CDA, behavior is what gets responses. you want to feel like people are attacking you and being racist by being the victim that's causing the issue go-ahead, but that's not reality
@@wollertz You were hired by cancer. You made money at the expense of the Idahoan. You are California
Agreed. I grew up there in the 90s and early 2000s and he showed maybe 2% of CDA. My mom still lives there and she’s been pushed to the low income housing because of what tourism has turned it into. It’s sad.
Move there if you're fond of chemtrails, as shown throughout this video.
We moved to North Idaho over a year ago ... we live in Sandpoint and Yes ... the chemtrails are horrible. They're deliberately destroying this place especially since its a red state. Its sad
Sadly they're everywhere. I'm in So Cal and we see them almost daily.
😂😂😂
Get a haircut
I’ve had 3. Thank you very much
Where in that video do you see a city?
its not what you look at thats there, its what you see 🤷♂️
Beautiful place with the best people!
