Im in the process of surgery on my 135i 2008 e88, engine is out ALL maintenance and mods , oem vargas Turbos the list is so long its insane . The engine looks like it was parked next to an oil rig . Cant wait for it to be back home lol
What a hard job done, fair play! I was feeling that relief with you when you closed the bonnet after fitting the last parts back 😂 there’s no better feeling 😂
Loving your videos Chris, only one thing I think you need to do is to put your videos into sequence so that we can watch them in order, like Mat does on his channel, so they all run in an order so we can watch them from starting the project to the end result, apart from that loving what both you and Mat are doing👍keep them coming.
Chris, you literally made the perfect color that I've been wanting. Def might have to copy you on that when I finally take the plunge on my 1M clone build. Can't wait.
Great video mate, love the 1-series series! One thing i noticed in the assembly part off the video, is that you may have forgotten to connect the driver sway bar end link. Maybe you did it off camera, what do I know. Anyways, keep the videos coming, they are among my favorite on youtube at the moment. Love from Norway.
Luckily they are ex drag racers and super supportive of my channel! But I do try to be as considerate as possible for them. They are a blessing really.
Have you looked at the LPFP upgrade? You can retrofit Walbros into the factory fuel pump. Alternatively you can get a fuel it stage 2/3 kit I think from Burger motorsports
Great video again brother, Just makes me more excited to get my 1M kit on mine! So easy to get carried away with the work, mines going to the mechanic after the 1M body and i just keep adding things to do hahaha! Good to see it all running healthy though mate!
Fantastic video, what a job. I've heard some people even do turbo's on driveways on axle stands.......sod that. May I ask a small question? Seen many video's on the auto coolant bleeding process. Most seem to bleed with cap fully on, & some off as you did. Is there right & wrong way or doesn't it matter? Thanks
Mate this job is a pain in the butt! You probably should of changed the inlets and outlets while you was there, the outlet for the rear turbo is a right mess and you can’t run big boost through it with out blowing your rear turbo seals, you remove the outlet pipe and cut out all the lumps and bumps n make it smooth, your turbo will be good to you for doing this lol the inlets you should go for steel reinforced ones from vrsf or someone as the cheap ones are dog poop and squeeze closed blowing ur turbos up lol good luck though mate, I’ve done all this n been involved with n54s for years!
@@Chris_Slix you can do it from the top, it’s a right pain but everything on these cars is! RB turbo do some good outlets but a bit pricey, if ur good with fabrication you can sort this out no problem!
You do a good job of videoing and it's very hard work so thank you very much for the great content. However...LOL. (Of course right?) So let me get this straight my friend. You needed to use Zero to 60's video (Nice choice) but from watching this it's pretty obvious you really didn't watch many if any install videos by other you tubers to learn about how and what you will need to do the job right. The fact that you didn't know about the required 2 inch inlets is clear evidence of it. I'm not trying to be mean but as one old senile very Old Evil OLD man once said "C'MON MAN!" LOL.
Gotta love a Brummy, and he's right, Brummy air better than Leicestershire air... and also Chris, c'mon man, where is your data resiliency? Two copies of your data at minimum at all times...
Im on it don't worry, luckily the car came with a tune on it meaning it can run safely without at lower rpms (according to my tuner) but a custom map is definitely a must.
I’m getting my drivers license in June. Can’t wait to follow your steps and get my own car, preferably a BMW. Keep up inspiring others!

Glad you are enjoying it!
A 19 year old bought my 335i his insurance is £4500 🙈

Your welcome any time mate was a good time although I look unhappy in the video lol I enjoyed it what’s next on the list ?
Appreciate you man!
Love that colour. Really suits the car.
Thank you Sam!

You and me both!

Thanks Robert, just double checked this and everything my end seems to be in chronological order. It may be worth checking your playback settings 😊
That sounds so good mate the revs after it's done sound mint mate
Thank you, the camera does not do it justice!

Feel free! Get it done!
Great vid mate! Can’t wait for the next one
Thanks Dan!
Nick done awesome - “get it off my ramp”
I think he was well and truly over it

Thanks Sean!
Great car, looking forward for more videos on it.
Thanks Alex!
Glad i finally found Chris Fix😢
I admire you guys I wish I could bring my own to your garage too.

It was sorted off camera, thanks for watching out for me though!
Nicks on every channel I watch lately 😂 nick I’m coming down soon bro my misses car needs looking at
Nick is a legend! 😅
All I was thinking towards the end is 'those poor neighbours'
Luckily they are ex drag racers and super supportive of my channel! But I do try to be as considerate as possible for them. They are a blessing really.

I have not yet, at what sort of power do these need upgrading?
@@Chris_Slix around 450 + having a strong constant Low pressure also helps prevent HPFP issues

Seemed like you retained stock inlets? most people use vrsf inlets or similar with hybrids, the stock inlets are extremely restrictive
Top quality video as usual!
Thank you!
Love this car so much
Thanks Harry!
great content bro ✌
Thank you!
maybe some LCI Retrofit Headlights next? hehehe
I have plans!
Have u changed inlets? If not your turbo will be restricted badly.
What wheels are they Mate and tyre sizes
I cant remember exactly, if you go back through my videos they are in there just before the car was painted.

You wasn’t going up the m62 on Sunday was
Not me mate 😅
@@Chris_Slix no worries, it was the exact same car also in purple. Only difference I saw was it had tinted windows because I couldn’t see the driver
sorry for the silly question, but is this a n54? or n55?
N54

Chris, it still smokes grey smoke as far as I can see right?
All clear now buddy, first minute or two was a bit smokey but i think it was just clearing residue.
From what I can see you didn't upgrade the turbo outlets whilst you were fitting the turbos which are a big restriction on the N54.
Ill look into it!
Just pressure wash the underneath :)
Dang all that for a turbo job? I’ve done over 200 n54 turbos and never did that 😮 but awesome video
Im sure there is an easier way, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out an easier one!
Yeah seemed way to hard
Gotta love a Brummy, and he's right, Brummy air better than Leicestershire air... and also Chris, c'mon man, where is your data resiliency? Two copies of your data at minimum at all times...
Get custom tune asap MHD OTS maps won't last with hybrids & don't hoon😂

though nick was tom hardy wtf
1M? Don't you mean M1 replica
No buddy 😅 the m1 is the original 6 cylinder mid engine m car the 1m is the e82 like i have here (sort of)
Why you copying Mat Armstrong😂
What part?
How is he copying 🤔 your well out of sync 😂😂
I totally heard that too. I thought "Wow they could interchange their scrips and sound the same".
Matt Armstrong copy cat this is haha
This is a total copy cat channel mate haha like it's exactly the same ypu talk the same act the same it's hilarious hahaha
1STTTTT
Anybody from @m539restorations channel? Interesting what Sreten thinks about its :)
I would imagine he would have a few positive and a few negative opinions!
