- Are you tired of paying Ralis a ridiculous fee and waiting hundreds of (in-game) hours to be drip-fed any kind of result? Well, bypassing the Unearthed quest to enter Kolbjorn Barrow early is not so difficult. This is a step-by-step guide on how to do just that.

This is super cool for a lvl 1 build using only Ritual Stone + Ring of Necromancy. I tried to do the quest at lvl 1 and quickly realized that it was gonna be a pain in the ass.

Besides the enchanting bonus, one of the rings gives a fire spell that stacks in damage the more you hit an enemy, one of the strongest spells ever.
Ah yes, the Ring of Arcana. Even more powerful when combined with Aspect of Terror and Intense Flames.

horse tilting has always been fascinating to me and I've been wondering why it's not a common part of the skyrim meme vocabulary
also aren't platters easier than netch jellies in a few of these cases?
It might be easier if you have whirlwind sprint, but you have to do a lot of setup to get that.
Horse tilting is a pretty big meme in the speedrunning community, likely because of its relevance.

I always wondered, is there no way to speed up the waiting if you’re on console?
I haven't found a way to do it, though admittedly I haven't looked into it very thoroughly. But the limited nature of controllers makes it hard to imagine.
jesus! This is more involved than it's worth. I'll just wait for couriers, thank you. However I usually get my Ahzidal gear from a cheat room, so I need not bother.

Cant you use atleast 1 word of whirlwind sprint to get the word wall? Or can u still use the shield parkour?
I'm not quite sure what you mean. The activator for the word of power isn't added until later in the quest

@@Sickliff no no they're saying instead of using the shield to jump across the gap, can you use whirlwind sprint? I'm pretty sure you can

Though it might be possible with pickpocketing? Unless its like nocternal where the clothes dont show up in the inventory
@@GigaflareInNeutral Sheogorath has the ghost state, which means attempts to pick his pocket will just cause you to talk to him. But even if you could get past that, he's essential. So his armor can't be removed by any known means.

You can't get the word for Cyclone if you do this

What happens to Ralis?
If you choose to spare him, he will go back to the Retching Netch as usual. However, his disposition with the player will still be 0, and you cannot recruit him as a follower. Unfortunate.
So I just learned that the reason I was unable to recruit Ralis in the past was that I had another follower waiting somewhere at the time. Ralis has no dialogue for if someone is already following you, so I just couldn't talk to him. He's able to be recruited normally if you do this sequence break.
