It is still possible to dupe it, and you can also use dead load duping. You just can't use it again after selecting a path. Also thank you!

Well I guess it depends on the enchantment. There are a couple enchantments that aren't meant to be obtainable but usually they're not very useful.

hey man i've been thinking about this for a while but is it possible to use the dead loading glitch to keep the skeleton key while completing the quest?
Not sure, I haven't messed around with that quest a whole lot. But I don't think so unless we find some way to drop quest items.

Sadly, I believe dead loading only allows a character to access corresponding locations in their own world.
Essentially, you're using the dead loading save as bridge to access load zones that the game knows can exist, but which your character would not otherwise have access to.
You know thinking about these warp glitches I wonder if theres a way to access qasmoke on consoles using the cheat room mod to get there initially on a "modded" save but use them as a key for an unmodded save to reach it(i found out that god mode and tcl can both persist across console saves even when going to main menu to disable cheat room mods) Also pretty sure I used no clip one time to grab the barenziah crown and found you can actually give the crown to vex and obtain prowlers profit without finding all the stones. I was also messing with merchant aggro restocking exploit and managed to make 2 different characters have the same merchant inventory(level 1 character having a max level merchant pool of ebony gear) but cant replicate it for my life(im hoping to crack that one eventually because the idea of being able to smuggle virtually any item across saves regardless of race and level could be groundbreaking to future exploits and could make speedruns even crazier with level 1 1 tap weapons. Perhaps theres some way to use the logic of dead loads to access a merchants inventory in other saves?? Imagine obtaining nightingale armor at maxed level right after helgen at the riverwood trader or even the concept of mass duping stacks of items instead of the tedious 1 pickup at a time in whiterun which could greatly increase the speed of alchemy setups or better yet a "key" save with a merchant already set up with the needed ingredients
Edit: anyone try using dead loads on preset corpses(like the dead guys in sleeping tree giant cave) and seeing if you can access that container to transfer items across a save

You're not alone, there have been a lot of people asking me how I switched between characters. It was added in Special Edition so I guess it's easy to overlook.

@@septimus9764 I should mention that this is possible on Legendary Edition, you would just have to scroll down to your key save each time you wanted to use it. SE makes it more convenient though.
hey sick, im on ps4 (aniversary ed.) and one very odd thing has happened, I have one character that contains all of my saves from the others + his own and its dynamic too (its not duplicates)
dont know how I did it but I suspect it might have been a consequence of the mod that allows acces to the character creation menu at any time
idk if this is known or if it has an use but if someone can come up with something useful its you lol
That's interesting, I think I've experienced something similar when using the showracemenu command. Instead of saving the character in their own category it just saves them to the "All Saves" category. I think it's more annoying than useful though lol

I just hope that one day maybe you can make a roleplay tutorial where the dragonborn beats Dawn Guard as Tangiro Kamado, Serana as Nezuko, Agmaer as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Durak as Inosuke Hashibira and Lord Harkon as Muzan Kibutsuji. I was really carried away to find many similarities between the DLC and the anime.
