My favorite thing about my first time playing Skyrim was how I knew absolutely NOTHING! I love how lost I was and didn't know my way around. I love that new experience where I just couldn't believe what just happened and no clue what to do next. Skyrim was the best the very first time playing through when it was all such a mystery and I had no clue what it meant to be Dragonborn.
Fallout4 is like that
I wish there was a mod to capture that early wonder. A few mods spice things up enough to make the game interesting again, but it’s impossible to recapture that first pleasure.
Same, I was walking around in Stormcloak armour for time having no idea it was for one of the main factions!
if you want to get lost and have no idea what to do you should really give Morrowind a go
@@the_hanged_clown Another great game, and one that does a fantastic job of making you feel like you’re in a huge, varied, and deeply alien world. But get a mod to increase your move speed, because otherwise the sprint and jump mechanics will drive you mad with impatience.
They should’ve named the Anniversary edition “Very Special Edition”
The alexa edition was named that way
Maybe the “Extra Special Edition”?😂
Anniversary Release Special Edition?
Oh great, now all I can imagine is Skyrim starting, to the sound of the goddamn Clone High theme song.
Special Needs Edition
We all literally know Skyrim far too intimately at this stage that Bethesda knows they'll never be able to improve from their peak with a audience that no longer is amazed by the brilliant simplicity yet simlicity none the less, they're definitely making their bank knowing with foresight that the next elder scrolls won't live up to the hype/expectations.
The fan base is too far and wide most people are gonna be disappointed regardless
All this is true but we're still going to buy it anyway. u_u
@@Dragon_Lair why do you think that? Because you will? I guess you lacking any self control or respect for your wallet means everyone else must behave the same way huh
@@wesperkins290 how is it lacking self control? You are a goof, trying to make something more complicated than it needs to be.
@@Dragon_Lair or just play Skyrim on pc once and be done with it. Creation club is fine and all however 150+ mods is what makes Skyrim *Skyrim*
Biggest tip, do the peace council quest just so Delphine will go to the mountain top. After you wait for her to leave and shout her off the mountain side.

Rood..
Todd's done it again, the man, the meme, the legend, truly has no bounds
He's an absolute madlad
All hail Todd Howard.
The spiffingbrit lmao
I never believed in a God, until I discovered Todd.
Todd: "It just works."
Tod Howard: “we don’t remake old games it doesn’t do them justice” he then turns around and remakes Skyrim every two years for the next decade.
Chad
Wel, they're not really remakes.
Well Todd Howard doesn't decided these thing he is just a game director he doesn't tell Bethesda what to do and by what I have seen he still not a fan of remake and remastered games he wants people to experience the original
Skyrim isn’t old though, it’s new 😰😓😅😂🤣
@@HellKnightX88 Exactly, they are only remasters
When you're overburdened you can either drop all your extra stuff and have your companion pick it up by asking them to do something for you. An even easier way is to dump it all into a container and have your companion loot the container. If they pick up stuff this way they can bypass their carry weight and carry literally everything.
@@davidhirsch839 then you put your stuff in an owned container. lol
If you ask a companion to loot a container that has too much weight, items will be marked as "stolen"
I'd say another tip worth mentioning is to not overdo it with skilling things like lockpicking etc. in the early game. Because these stats will raise your overall level, but won't help you in a fight. And the enemies will get stronger based on your level, not on your actual combat power, so it could happen that you'll have a much harder time raiding bandit camps etc.
That was what use to always screw me. Lmao id forge iron daggers until basically level 100 lol and still had like level 30ish combat level lol. But i was geared up
Stealth deals with that easily.
Me: level 51 leaving the cave after the first encounter with the bear at the start of the game.
Legendary sneak level 6 lol
Word. I'd like to add that if you are like me and prefer light armor start using it ASAP. The same would apply to heavy armor as well. Point is use the crap out of your armor as early as you can to build up your armor skill set. I've paid a crap ton of money to Grelka leveling my light armor skills to give myself a better chance at survival in my latest run through of the game at a more difficult setting.
That being said don't completely neglect your smithing or enchanting either because both can be essential at giving you better armor rating as well.
I've been playing on 360 without mods for 10 years. I've already asked my family for a new system for my birthday so I can get this Anniversary edition! Thank you for the tips 😁👍
Respect man, my 360 takes about 5 minutes to even load my inventory, not to even mention going from inside to outside. A good 30 minutes right there.
That’s going to be such an amazing transition have fun and don’t let anyone kill your imagination !
I’ve been playing the enhanced edition on Xbox Series X and the load times are so fast I can’t even read the load screen tips!
damn you a mad lad for playing so much in x360
Same here with my Xbox One
More useful tips:
1) A follower can carry stuff beyond their carrying capacity if you manually command them to pick stuff up from the ground. However, do not have them pick up items you dropped in a stack because it resets the item in their inventory back to 1. Alas, it's not worth it for light items, but very useful for heavy items you want to take - especially in the case of dwemer ruins where the metal scraps (for dwarven metal ingots) weigh a lot.
2) If you're playing on a higher difficulty, Spellbreaker is the most useful shield in the game as it creates a ward to block spells, so it's not only useful for regular combat but also against mages.
3) The game never directly tells you this, but magic resistance is completely separate from physical damage resistance (armor rating). This is something that took me way too long to realize in my first playthrough - I had 700+ armor rating yet still got killed my mages in a matter of seconds, and was left wondering "How?!!?". Alas, atop of completing "The Book of Love" quest, you should also level up the alteration tree to gain access to the magic resistance perk.
4) Magic resistance and damage resistance are capped at 80%, which equates to ~700 armor rating. Beyond that, you won't be taking any less damage. Since this armor rating can be reached by both heavy and light armor, light armor is actually better because it has none of the drawbacks of heavy armor. So unless you prefer heavy armor for aesthetic reasons, light armor is actually the META.
"Become friends with someone, and they may allow you to take certain items from their home." After siding with Ralof, went from Helgen directly to Riverwood, sold what I had, and talked to Gerdur. Then went back to Helgen to loot everything I didn't take the first time. Fast travel back to Riverwood to sell again. Did the Blacksmith tutorial for a free dagger and helmet. Did Faendal's quest, to get him as a follower, and take his house key. Did the Bleak Falls Barrow/Golden Claw quest. Without stealing, I took everything I could from Hod and Gerdur's house, Faendal's house, the Riverwood Trader, and what ever was lying around Riverwood (barrels, etc.). By the time I reached Whiterun, I had enough gold to buy Breezehome.
For me, becoming friends with someone, and taking all their stuff is a fun exploit.
LOL I always feel like a douche doing that, and never do it.
@@zeropoint546 I never felt more like a thief than when I was taking cabbage from a farmer's field in the middle of the night.
@@3ofinfinity601 honest pay for honest work
Faendal comes home, sees his house has been stripped clean, breathes a heavy and despondent sigh, "well I guess my friend Dave Beach paid me a visit while I was out. Guess I better head to the Riverwood Trader to buy all my stuff back."
Lol. The majority does respawn.
Another tip if you're feeling like taking on those pesky trolls/frost trolls early on, in the reach between markarth and falkreath there's a small open cave sorta thing where a man called "trollsbane" lays dead, in his inventory will be his warhammer called...Well..."trollsbane" and it burns trolls for 15 points of damage PLUS the extra damage done to Trolls since they have a weakness to fire, once you grab it, run like the wind since there will be 2 trolls guarding this dead man. Most likely the pair that killed the fellow.
Not a very reliable weapon then
Or get dawnbreaker early on
@@alfresco1552 it is, just best to run since you will probably only have 100-150 health.
I'm playing a rogue build this go around so warhammers aren't really my thing - but that's a nice tip - I didn't know that.
As a sneak/assassin type, that frost troll was kicking my ass badly, until I realized I could perch myself on a rock where it couldn't get, me and then just snipe it to death with arrows. You have to have leveled up archery a bit so your arrows do enough damage since its health regenerates so much. But it's definitely possible to kill it. I'm playing on master difficulty as well so it had a lot of health but it's still doable to snipe him out.
I did also have Lydia with me to distract him and absorb his attacks while I stayed perched and rained arrows onto him. I guess you could say I had the high ground.
Can the hammer be disenchanted?
I hope they add cut content back in the anniversary edition of Skyrim like spears, making your own spells etc and some of the cut features were actually standard in the older elder scrolls game. I also hope they actually give enough of a damn to not only do that but to fix the stupid glitches.
hate to say it, but spellcrafting ain't gonna happen. Neither are spears, or throwing stars, for that matter. D:
I want the insane amount of cut civil war content put back in before anything.
I highly doubt we'll get any restored cut content, that would require Bethesda to do actual work
@@andrewn8002 How do you know that though?

3:30 if u want to do the blades questline then do it before ur first fight with alduin. That way u can do the entire blades questline without killing parthurnax. It's a good idea since it gives u a buff to defence against melee attacks from dragons which is kinda useful
I know this is a year old but didn't work for me when I tried that way, as soon as I talk to Paarthurnax the first time and see that he's a dragon and leave, the next time I speak to Esbern or Delphine they say they discovered who he was and to kill him, then stop talking to me.
@@douggiles7647 darn, I thought it was supposed to only give the prompt for the kill paarthurnax quest after the 1st alduin fight but I guess I was wrong. Or your experiencing a glitch. Sorry. In that case I think you'll just have to do it before even meeting paarthurnax, or forget about the blades quests. Don't worry, you're not missing much
"Take time to read" is really essential advice since Elder Scroll V is still a scroll. Reading some part of it shows some of all-possible-futures and past. I still think about why Kodlak was reading a book "Frontier, Conquest" which tries to bebunk a historical stereotype of Man VS. Mer.
"take your time to read" he says and proceeds to open the Lusty Argonian Maid vol. 1

Yup. You can get daedric armor at level 1 that way. Get conjuration up to 90, and go summon the armor at the atronach forge.

Things I wish I knew before playing Skyrim: My entire Mod list. So I don't have to spend hours fixing the shit out of my game and actually had to make a new save because of game-breaking bugs.

@@DarthMadV One of my save became unplayable after a windows update so I feel you.
You really just need to learn what you're doing if you want an extensive list. I have over 1000 mods, 4-500 plugins, on VR, and very stable. Only crash once every 15 hours or so, if that.

For archers, do faendals quest in river wood, get him as a follower and then trade for your money back. There’s also an ebony bow which you can grab at lv 1 in the labyrinth, or if you’re too lazy you can grab the elven bow from Aelas quarters in the companions.
Why always Skyrim? There are other games in the series that could be remastered but they continue to ingore them. Oblivion and Morrowind says hello. Bethesda pretends they can't hear them.
I would absolutely love a remaster or Switch port of Oblivion.
My Xbox 360 (the version I’ve always played) can only run about 30-40 minutes before it breaks and won’t load the game anymore. Then I’m just sitting there waiting for the perpetual loading screen when I try to load a new area. 😔
I wonder if somewhere in the bowels of Bethesda (now there's an image) they are working on a future remastered trilogy Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim in the same sense as the Mass Effect Legendary edition? They could add Daggerfall as well to up the ante. And you know we wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
Please remaster oblivion
@@Cornflakes0812 skyblivion m8
Morrowind wouldn't sell well. Only people who have nostalgia for it would buy it, no one else because it's gameplay is outdated even when it came out. A "good" story isn't enough to save a game with bad gameplay that punishes you for everything
At this stage, i think im gonna wait for the "The Unmatched Super Mega Duper Boombastic Crazy Fantastic Edition".
@MischievousMike Agree, U nailed it Bro, also don't forget the moding community, without em it'll be plain boring lol... 😂
I am both surprised and not surprised that skyrim is getting another release :D
Some items are weightless during quests, keep them around: Vilkas sword, anders arkay amulet, helm of winterhold, grimsever, rueful axe (2h). You can also combine falmer helmets or pentius oculatus helmets with dragon priest masks or circlets for double enchants. Or use the dunmer boots for a second slot of armor enchantment like destruction cost
Pro-tip. Spam the spell Muffle over and over when walking from place to place. It levels up illusion fast so you can use invisibility early.
The video literally said this
Alternative video title: Avarti's 245th excuse to trash Delphine and the blades again.
How about this tip? Instead of completing quests to enable followers like Serana, you can also not complete the quest that leads her home, nor the quest to get Barbas' rueful axe, nor return Esbern to wherever he wants to go, and all of these NPCs will simply keep following (and fighting for) you.

Best way to kill the frost troll on the 7000 steps is with a fire-enchanted weapon with a poison that paralyzes and causes lingering damage (canis root, imp stool, mora tapinella). He only gets to hit you once that way and you can take him out. Be sure to have a Common soul gem on hand to soul trap him.
Just what we always wanted- another release. Who needs elder scrolls 6 when we can just keep playing skyrim forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever.....
This is genuinely the best Skyrim tips video I’ve watched. I kinda get overwhelmed playing these types of games and like to have a little bit of guidance with what to do. You provide tips that are different than the other videos that all say the same few things so this was genuinely helpful
For companions, don’t forget your pet dog Barbas if you want an immortal tank to draw attacks and also leave room for a companions you want them or not.
I hated Barbas, constantly barking, pushing me over when I was trying to do things, and not allowing me to sneak and steal.
Absolute hate.
I like the Atronach Stone blessing. It's great for magic/melee hybrid builds.
Honestly the Frost trolls are easy to kill with firebolt, they a susceptible to fire, learned that from a loading screen tip.
For magic resistance there's also the Lord Stone. It grants +25% magic resistance and +50 armor. IIRC you can head generally north from Halted Stream Camp, which is itself north of Whiterun, and you'll find the stone not far from the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. The Guardian Stones are fine at low level, but when you get to level 30 and reach that relatively difficult patch of the game's leveling the extra resistance and armor should help.
I know when I die one day and go to heaven Todd Howard will still try to pull a fast one on me again with the Skyrim: Heavenly-Do You Get To The Cloud District Often-Edition and am I still gonna buy it? yes, *SPOILER ALERT* because the elder scrolls 6 never came out. And I am 24 and if I lived to be 100 that's 76 years from now! #SKYRIM LIVE FOREVER
Imagine the day when someone has a NDE, starts to see black, and in their delirious state, they hear "Hey you, you're finally awake!"
and then they come back to life.
One thing I just learned was the ghosts in the Breaking Dawn quests fill grand soul gems. I got 21. That is plenty to gear yourself up and your follower once you hit 100 enchanting.
The Soul Cairn is the main place for Grand Souls. Enemies drop gems and every fissure in the ground you interact with will fill your gems, starting with the largest.
@@XoRandomGuyoX soul carin is much later in the game.
@@tric5122 Meh, Break of Dawn requires level 20 for the Beacon to spawn, and the Corrupted Shades have leveled souls.
@@XoRandomGuyoX have fun running around the soul Carin at lvl 20, without dawnbreaker, thing is an undead killing machine, or high lvl of enchanting that has your gear heavily perked. Both of which can be dealt with in short order in the temple.
On legendary I dont do either until 30+ anyways so those gems are already lvld.
@@tric5122 Personally I think the fight with Malkoran is tougher than anything in the Cairn. Mistmen and Bonemen aren't much threat. Wrathmen seem scary, and have lots of HP, but they're not the best on offense. The main argument to wait on the Cairn would be if you want the free Dragonbone weapons. If it's just personal equipment you want to make, joining the College of Winterhold gives access to quite a few gems.
Currently on my 10th or so genuine, fully immersed, consumed, addictive, actually fun play through right now. Still learning things about the game too.
For the early overburdening issue, I always make sure to join the College of Winterhold asap and then just stuff everything in the cupboards in my room. Best part is there are multiple cupboards so you can have one for books, one for weapons, one for clothes, etc
I’m playing Skyrim for the first time. I’m playing it on my PS5 but it’s with a PS4 disc. I bought it the other day coz it’s been on my radar for a very long time. I’m only a few hours into the game and I’m loving it so far. Can’t believe I waited this long to experience it
Glad to hear that! Skyrim is a complete chaotic mess, but that's what makes it so good lol
May your road lead you to warm sands.
I will definitely be buying the dlc Skyrim is freakin timeless it’s been years sense I played it ready to jump back in great game.
Thank you. you know I have to tell you guys something this game came out in 2011 and I only played it a few times and didn't like it and that was back when it first came out but now for some reason years later now for the first time ever I I'm immersed into the world of elder scrolls I'm so excited to really start my journey you know no matter how old these games get there will always be new people to play them new players and this community will live in forever thank you!
I started binge watching your videos and here is another! Thanks!
The first dragon fight is EXACTLY, like the Kavach portal in Oblivion. Nothing will spawn untill the first is taken care of
Don't forget to mention, if you want to acquire the Longhammer early game, you have to have incredible sneak or make difficulty adjustments because Falmer will simply lay waste to low level characters!
I HATE the Falmer and Chorus!!!
Darker this is sooooo underrated. I love that he doesn’t die. I never have to worry about him dying and then trying to figure out how to get all my stuff he is carrying.
I don’t know how many other followers don’t die, but he’s a favorite for that reason
The backside of stone wall outside markarth seven stones over and look at the ground from the left side, the gap between the small rocks to the left of the mine in dawn star. Invisible chest are just a must once you know they're there.
I have already done a complete playthrough on the Switch version. Recently
My go-to strategy every time is: Boost alchemy, enchanting, and smithing ASAP. Put off too much fighting while developing these skills. Cuz once you have these skills boosted, your fighting and armor skills are no longer important. Your character will have major armor protection and fighting skills based purely on the three crafting skills mentioned. Also you can make MAJOR gold selling crafted items.
A tidbit I learned about the blade quest is if you just don't meet Paarthurnax after doing Alduin's Wall you can still bring 3 recruits to Delphine and then do one kill a dragon radiant quest to get the Dragon Research quest which gives you Esbern's Potion as a reward which then gives you a permeant 25% reduction to dragon melee attacks
Also, I usually use the cave inside the exit from Helgen Keep as my stash place until I get a house. And be sure to take the road east from Helgen toward Ivarstead at the very beginning of the game to get to the place where the Khajiit caravan was ambushed. It disappears as soon as you are instructed to see the Jarl of Whiterun and the Stormcloak camp appears, so if you want to kill those seven bandits and get all of the loot, you need to do it first off. Also, the Nord with the Heavy Armor book disappears once the Stormcloak camp appears nearby, so I always do those fights first.
The question is have they fixed the bugs that have been in Skyrim since the game launched
That is the exactly i was asking men making this game anniversary without fixing the bug men what a waste
No
They actually fixed a bunch of bugs for the Switch version, which was a bit surprising
Is it a bug or a feature?
Todd Howard: *yes*
Have you guys had the bug that won't let you finish the thieves guild main quest? Been in the game since original release and I just encountered it again on the Xbox one release. Can not finish thieves guild, armor, achievements, etc..so this is the real question. They keep dropping the same game with the same issues. I want the game with bugs fixed. I don't want mods.
In my first playthrough, I killed Paathurnax for the same reason as you did. But every other time I have use console command to finish this quest without killing him.
Which console command?

Destruction is the hardest combat skill to level. Melee builds can find a dope weapon early in the game but mages have to unlock skill points to become powerful. Having a companion like faendal makes you level destruction slower because he will one shot everyone a mile away before you can get the xp. You have high magicka so capitalize on that by using the other schools of magic constantly. If you learn calm and warding you will never need a follower. If you need a meat shield for a boss just conjure up a familiar. If you want to have a mobile storage box though, you could always order your follower to stay put. Try not to forget where you told your follower to stay put because 4 hours later when you wonder where they are only a good memory will help you.
Dude, I don't even remember that I ordered my companion to stay put, I just wondered, "WHY I cannot hiring the new one?". Then, I get mad "And where the heck is my companion if I had one? I don't even remember I picked someone" Maybe you are right, I just forgot them somewhere in big ass cave. Well, I just start a new game then
My personal tips would be to collect the three platters from dragonreach, these platters are great for bypassing locked doors and with the help of whirlwind you can slip through easy.
I use Platters to bypass the rocks blocking where the crown of barenziah is located at, doing this completely skips the tedious task of acquiring every stone and cut straight to the end of the quest. Doing this early or mid level is essential since the reward Prowlers Profit will allow you to find more gems in containers, it'll be the best way to make money early and later game.
You can even use the platter trick to bypass a lot of dwarven ruins by skipping to the end of the dungeon, Tower of Mzark for example will get you to the elders scroll easy. Can even be used to get one of the Aetherium shards at Raldbthar by using the lift at the top.
Can't believe that I called it on some other video a while back that Bethesda will release another version of Skyrim.
It was highly likely anyways

". . . polished to a DLC standard." . . . So made worse. I kid. I kid.
Great video!
I'll buy the anniversary edition especially with the mods being upgraded to DLC. I do hope they'll add a new DLC to the game anyway.
They won't
You can bypass the quest to kill Parthunax by completing the Civil War quest line before getting to that point of the main quest.
Or you can just choose not kill Parthunax and side with the Greybeards because the Blades are fucking idiots lol
@@roshtoux True, but this way you get to keep the blades as allies without having to kill him.
One other tip I would add is before you sell off those spare rings, necklaces, weapons or armor pieces, enchant them first with your petty and lesser soul gems. You'll get more gold for them and level up your enchanting fast. When I start a new character, one of the first spells I buy is soul trap so I can fill whatever soul gems I find (or steal) with the souls of the many wolves you face and try to get my enchanting up as fast as possible. Once you max out your enchanting skill and get the right perks, you can make armor and weapons that are better than 99% of the gear you can find in the game.
At this point, I really think they owe it to the fans to fix the unfinished and incoherent parts of the base game rather than just adding in more cash grab gimmicks.
Sure they do. But they're not going to.
I really wish that the anniversary edition would be as good as a modded special edition, I know this is too much to ask, but I think Bethesda had more time to perfect the game and see the communuty's creations and mods.
Actually helpful! Thank you!!
I was 6 when Skyrim came out and a memory just came back to me. I remember when the game had only just came out and my dad and his friend were talking about it and he was playing it on his TV. Anyways, I was sat there watching and I remember having to hide behind the Sofa when that Troll on mountain appeared, it scared the shit out of me!
Always follow Ralof in the intro, since the Imperial gear you loot is worth more.
Train smithing with Balimund, and pickpocket your gold back after each skill trained.
Obtain the Transmute spell at level 1, and smith jewelry for enchanting.
Punch a vendor & reload if he/she does not have what you are looking for.
Marry your favorite follower for the daily cash, xp bonus, and immortality.
Clear Bleak Falls Barrow before you travel to Whiterun.
Avoid Whiterun until you are ready for dragon encounters.
Use a conjured Daedric sword early in game for reduced carry weight, and higher damage.
Treadmill Sneak in the Aretino residence before you speak to him, or sneak attack the Greybeards for max Sneak skill.
Begin 'Unfathomable Depths' quest at lvl 14 to make Dwarven armor as strong as Ebony armor.
Mammoths at the giant camps are the most convenient source of Grand souls.
Creep Cluster, Scaly Pholiota, and Mora Tapinella can be farmed and combined at the Hearthfire homesteads to make potions for unlimited gold.
The paralyze enchant is OP.
I hate it when someone plays skyrim like this, but everyone can do like he want right :D
@@xabraxas650 I hate gold farming with alchemy, but not as much as I hate grinding gold/xp. I conspicuously left out the blacksmithing potion exploit, because it breaks the game. The alchemy exploit takes advantage of game mechanics, without truly breaking it. You can get unlimited gold, but what can you really buy with it?
Everything else I listed is just tactics.
@@justin1730 yeah ofc it's just tactics but the thing with the Grey beards and some other stuff are for me not like they are planned for the game. Its no cheating but for me it is like cheating 😂
@@xabraxas650 Can you name a single professional fighter who did not train outside of battle? Have you never seen a boxer work a speedbag? Practicing your fighting skill with somebody who is not hostile to you is called SPARRING. People have been doing it for thousands of years, and it is more conducive to roleplaying than an unrealistic fighter who gains all of their experience through actual combat. The same is true of all the other skills. That is also why the game has skill trainers.
@@justin1730 bro there was no offensive meaning. I just wanted to say that I don't want to play skyrim like this, I enjoy to just walking around, explore the areas and make the quests I can find. But as I said in my first comment, everyone can play like he want :D
When will Bethesda start doing this to the older Elder scrolls games like morrowwind, redguard, Oblivion and Daggerfall. Same for Fallout 1 to new Vegas I get that we are getting fan remakes of this games in the latest style like for the fallout remakes they are using fallout 4 and for the Elder scrolls remakes they are using Skyrim but still.
As much as I'd love an official Morrowind re-release. I feel it would take the wind out of projects like skywind and skyblivion.
@@mehemynxm6974 yeah it probably would and they would probably shove some creation club crap in there
Todd himself even said that Morrowind will never get remastered, and I don't think anybody sane wants a remaster with how Bethesda is. Way to many "walls of text" for Bethesda in Morrowind to remaster, they'll want everything voiced over and given all most all factions and the main quest intertwined with each other, I can't imagine the insane amount of bugs they'll create in their remasters.
Much love. Just bought the game last week.
. And man have I been a hermit
Thank you for your epic yet succinct advice. I'm older and this is my 1st playthrough. I learned early on buy after a games been out for a year or more. PS and others are always updating and re- releasing games at at least a 50% discount. Your advice is to the point and you don't talk 9n using your voice as a weapon. I'm starting your quest suggestions in a order which is pleasing to me but not what my ethics might feel tweaked over.. chaotic good here...
Why didn't they just make more dlc's like a roscrea dlc or and olenveld dlc. Everyone would be happy about that. Ik this newer edition will have more polished creation club additions but another dragon born sized dlc would not only make bank but be awesome. It doesn't even need to be a huge questline. It could simply be an addon to the skyrim civil war quest since roscrea is (or was) part of Skyrim and is inhabited by nords. Or even better if they released the game with more content. Like remaking dawnstar, falkreath, and morthal to be real cities. And have the ruins of winterhold be present. Adding stuff like that would be hands down an improvement and justify me purchasing Skyrim yet again.
I think what would ease the wait for the next game is a questline with new items and a few characters relating to ES6 but a year or 2 ahead of it coming out
@@SageOfReality dude honestly if they JUST did a dlc that made the silver hand and the vigilants of standard as a playable faction. Maybe even throw in a cheap bards college expansion just letting us unlock instrument playing after completing it's questline. It would bring so many players back and who knows how many new players who were too young to have played Skyrim into it's universe. I'd pay 10-15 bucks for that (voice acting included of course). Just a simple little thing like that would do it wonders. I mean the vigilants are a really cool group from what we know about them being a split off group from the knights of the nine. Then the silver hand have many theories about them being a splinter group from the companions. The companions quest doesn't even need to be altered, but add in a silver hand side which players might be able to choose. Kinda like the Dawn guard Volkihar questline.
I wish I knew Ralis Sedarys was the best follower all along. Holy crap his damage is high
Duel wielding follower with all the perks? Yea, he shreds anything.
Who?
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodl6206 dunmer miner in the dragonborn dlc near koljborn. He absolutely destroys
just give your follower with one handed weapons a forsworn weapon or a random pickaxe, and it will do the exact same as this guy. Dual weilding in general is the most powerful stuff you can do in the game (if you don't use the fortify restoration glitch).
@@gugugugu3371 this guy has literally 20 perks. Giving any random follower or even Celann and Durak who are the strongest with your build mentioned a pickaxe or forsworn sword won’t even make them close to being as good as him.
Added advise about frost trolls this video missed ;
There is a book you can find before you go see the Graybeards, not sure where I found it exactly. But it is a book on Troll hunting and that's where I got this from.
Testing it in the field proved very successful.
On my first 5 playthroughs, not knowing this, that one Frost Troll was an absolute horror to deal with.
The trick, they don't regenarate, as long as they are on fire, or attacked by fire.
I am sure it works on Frost Trolls, but not sure if it works on other Trolls.
Cheers!
It has a more convincing quality to it when such a thoughtfull voice tells you what random chest to loot.
If they officially add Open Cities, I might get it.
Why? That mod breaks like every other npc or city mod
@@ZeroSensed it wouldn't be a mod if it was in the game lol
Elohmn Still would break all those other (better might I add) mods.
@@ZeroSensed I have ssd lol & use open cities & use plenty of city & citizen mods lol
Elohmn Great! Does it really make a difference to have an SSD? Also which npc mods are you using?
It would have been really nice to have Elder Scrolls 6 on this anniversary... Just saying...
I’m a newbie to Skyrim and am absolutely loving it so far! Rip for the spoilers in the video though, but that’s my own fault lol. Thanks for the tips! Never thought to just casually cast spells while wandering around!
If you want extra magic early in the game make the fondue in the cooking pot. It gives you 100 extra on magic for 12 mins which is handy
All those editions when they could of remastered Morrowwind and Oblivion…. Something the fans actually want. 😴✌🏽
They should make a remastered collection of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I’d buy that! Add some extra missions that the game designers wanted to include but couldn’t due to time constraints or because their technology wouldn’t originally allow them to.
How about a console release of battle spire and red guard
A simple remaster won’t do it, it’s not as simple as that
@@dragonmaster3030 That would be calm af
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodl6206 I know this but it’s still possible to do and would take in millions
Elder Scrolls fans : "We love Skyrim and still play it"

Fallout fans : "You know NV is my favorite but, I would take a remaster of any, even an F4 performance editi....."
Todd : "Who are you again?"
I learned all this the hard way and i thinj there is alot more like doing the lexicon quest early on for the smitting boost

Wolf queen was great. I wish I took the time to read it before the quest
Thank you so much for this. I just bought the Anniversary edition last month and have been a tad overwhelmed by the many decisions. It seemed that no matter what I did some random dude would pop up and kill me and I wondered what I was doing wrong (probably everything! lol) ... I will restart - yet again haa haa.
When leveling smithing don’t make daggers and leather gauntlets. Start off by going north of Whiterun to find a Bandit Camp, at the end of the area you will find the Transmute Mineral spell. This spell allows you to turn iron into gold that can be used to make tons of gold rings that offer more Smithing XP and can fetch a better price at shops. In later levels around the time you hit 80-95 smithing start making tons of arrows as they only cost one ingot and one firewood.
Great video. Basically hits all the best tips for skyrim. Just be careful casting muffle and detect life too much. You might level up too fast and face tough monsters you aren't strong enough to take on.
I always stock up on arrows early, then sneak through Lost Valkygg. It'll take a bit of sneaky sniping of high levelled Draugr, but you come out the other side with 2x ebony weapons!
Started playing this once again and I have been staying up until 2 in thr morning playing
I know this is old but I did pick this up on a steam sale to play once again on my steam deck, I finished a play through on my Xbox 360 and switch prior
