In this 10-minute feel good upper body yoga stretch - we focus on tension relief for the neck, shoulders, chest, upper back, and side body. This gentle yoga practice is great to do when you feel stiffness or tension in the upper body. This can also be a post-workout stretch after you do an upper body focused exercise routine. Option to use a yoga strap (or any belt or small towel) for one of the stretches. Enjoy your practice!

Perfect practice for me. I am 73 and I have old injuries, detached supraspinatus and torn infraspinatus muscles in my right shoulder. The other two main muscles have taken over and have 'stepped up' with their duties. I have to be very slow and mindful but through lots of stretches, bands and yoga I have full range of motion and can grab my 'finger tips' when doing the behind stretches. All without surgery. Thank you for your great classes. How are you healing? Do you have a projected date in mind of coming back and doing yoga with us? Prayers and healing energy coming your way. Your husband is doing a great job helping you out and he is benefiting from your guidance. He does look like he has done yoga before. Great job, well done hubbie. Namaste

I've been going to physical therapy for my adhesive capsulitis on both shoulders since August. Range of motion is starting to come back. It will probably be a few more months before I'm able to practice vinyasa yoga. In the meantime, my husband will be in the videos. Yes, he's been doing yoga for years. :)

thanks for this class, I really enjoyed it. How is your shoulder doing? I am dealing with a similar injury, also having a really hard time wrapping my head around the fact that everything is just so much more restricted, even getting dressed is hard. I hope you’re doing better, any tips and tricks from you in the healing process? Have a great day.
