@@watsondillon1997 I've seen reactors claim this undercut tge power of the stones. It does the opposite. It shows how often people have violates the timeline trying to get the stones. Also, you don't come here looking for stones. You get brought here and are deleted or reset. My only question is, were any time stones as if any could work there, that would be the one. Interesting that the TVA, to create and police the sacred timeline, they have to exist outside of that timeline.
@Liezel Mckan no, because the TVA is probably propaganda bullshit. It’s just in Chronopolis in the Quantum Realm, so it may have nothing to do with how time works and is a quantum realm thing. They are connected to an extra dimensional singularity so it makes sense they don’t work.
Canonically in Marvel comics they only work in their timeline (which works slightly different there). They may change that ruling, but it could really fuck shit up in the multiverse going forward. Imagine if someone like Thanos just went and made an Iron Man suit out of infinity stones, it makes the universe super problematic and well get excessively stupid really quick. This is Marvel not Rick and Morty.
This could also track with the time heist cause they clearly stabilized that loop in causality, it wasn’t a branch or if it was it was the only branch as the other was pruned (assuming this isn’t just Kang the Conqueror lying to everyone).
@Deep Doo Plays I know its late reply but Disney+ legally allows limited amount of the footage that can be displayed on any RUclips video. So their editor just shows important scenes and cuts other things so that the legal amount of time can maintained

But also, Mobius NEEDED to know if this Loki was self-aware and knows the reasons he does things, because if he didn’t really, or had a lack of true self-awareness, then he wouldn’t be helpful in chasing down the other Loki variant. So while it gave a reason to catch up the audience and give us an understanding of Loki’s character, it was also necessary to the plot. Love that!

@@Goonztz Based on what we've seen so far, it seems the MCU's multiverse is comprised of three core components: timelines (including prime/sacred and alternate), dimensions, and alternate universes.

This is the Loki who is working for Thanos right at this moment. To witness his own death by Thanos is the ultimate betrayal.
Thanos never betrayed loki, he only betrayed gamora. Loki was the one who betrayed Thanos. Thanos just responded back as expected and went on to go about to make his plan come to fruition.

This was the best pilot episode I have watched in a long long time and Tom and Owen are killing with those performances... Already loving this show and Loki's character, BRAVO!!
When I saw the cartoon explaining the premise, it reminded me of Jurassic Park, where they show an animation to explain to the audience how the dinosaurs were brought to life.
the fact that the growth Loki went through in less than an hour is just as impressive as his growth in spans of several movies. I't's neat, and not rushed. At least, I think that the majority feels that same. It's easy to digest.

@@ryancraig6675 if you go by the explanation in the animation by Miss Minutes, Loki will appear in Sacred Timeline again. TVA seems out of time scope so doesn't matter long Loki been there doesn't really affect the real timeline, they can just place him again at the exact time he left.

Wanda uses Chaos Magic. Magic doesn't exist there period. She would simply be "human" again like when Agatha had her in the basement.
She is a Nexus being, she is the anchor to the multiverse, and can jump between realities with her powers. In an interview producers on WandaVision confirmed that she has the ability to do that but was never shown

Wanda's power comes from an Infinity Stone, which is utterly nullified there. Her powers would be too, until they clearly show otherwise. If tbey do it in Strange, then cool. But right now that means nothing.

This episode proved that the Infinity Stone can and very likely will come back to the MCU.
Also the 60’s/70’s look of the TVA reminds me a lot of the video game Control. Everyone should check out the trailers for it to see what I mean.

I would like to point out that, yes in the first episode the Sex column of Loki's file that was handed to Mobius, it did say "Fluid." This is a detail from the comics that the former CEO of Marvel tried to retcon, but was restored to canon, very recently. Loki actually has always been genderfluid in all media. This includes the original mythology. Loki's first incarnation was literally the mythological "Mother of Monsters."
This is serial loki from marvel studios in 2021 the better and one of important projects in 4 phase marvel cinematic universe.Great.
My first thought when Owen first shows up was he reminded me of Horatio from CSI:Miami...calm, unruffled, looking at the details of a scene. I love how he is a calm foil to Loki’s reactions - completely unfazed with Loki’s blustering and show. Tom also did a great job of being humbled and facing his own mortality. Mischievous scamp.

The twist is that this literally is an extreme version of the Heaven myth, twisted. The Devil is Loki.
Heaven is about Order. The TVA is about Order. With the TVA, Order and Predetermination. Loki had previously espoused extreme Order, but with himself in charge. He's now seeing how Order can go wrong., and becoming a truer God of Chaos. Multiverse of Madness has a Multiverse. This shows a restrained multiverse. Ergo, The Devil has to take down the TVA before that movie happens. Meaning Loki has work to do. He's the hero of the story, even being The Devil, because Predetermination is slavery.

I think the robot that removed Loki's clothes is either H.E.R.B.I.E from the Fantastic Four or the same type of robot it's face looks just like his. Also when Loki had to go through that scanner the part about being a robot and not knowing it is a reference to Life Model Decoys from the comics and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Great Reaction. My wife and I reacted to this show as well and both loved this first episode.
MCU designation is Earth-199999 not Earth-616. If the device shown Earth-616, then Endgame Avengers from Earth-199999 not going back in time but goes to an alternate Earth freeing this 616-Loki. The MCU-Loki still continues his timeline to his death which this 616-Loki watch via the Time Theatre. A clue is Capt from the first scene acts differently from Endgame Earth-199999...

If I remember correctly when darksied fron the dc universe had the gauntlet it didn't work because the gems only work I their own universe. That would explain how powerless they are in the tva
exactly. The infinity stones are tied to that specific universe and don't work outside of it. So as the TVA fixes renagade timelines, they are deleted. If they happen to get infinity stones from those deleted timelines and universes, those stones are basically just pretty rocks with no link to the old universes.
The cartoon of TVA history reminds me of the Fallout game.... "The resemblance is uncanny." 😅🤌🏼

Them sort of downgrading infinity stones to the level of paper weight is also pointing out that this phase of MCU is levelling up.
Lady Loki is the rogue variant they're hunting. That's why Mobius said it was you but didn't give more details, will be given later on. The infinity stones have been carried by other variants that is why when they were captured the stones were apprehended then by TVA, also the stones are powerless in the TVA because TVA exists outside the realm of space and time ,thus they are just stones in the TVA realm

It is also possible that when the entire timeline is correct, and Morbius sends Loki back to the same timeline or because Loki saw the future, he will let the time run as it is or that point later when he will get the thanos he will make his duplicate copy send thanos to kill him or when his copy die .the real loki run away ...so he will interduce it in the same loki 2 ... these are my hopes

Infinity stones only work in the universe that generated them. It must have been humbling for Loki to see something he saw as the ultimate power, multiples even, left powerless in a drawer, even used as bureaucrats’ paperweights.

What I have problem understanding is why do they say Loki's escape wasn't supposed to happen. In that case, Steve and Tony weren't supposed to go to the 70s. The only reason they went there was because Loki escaped and if that was supposed to happen, then so was his escape.
Maybe loki's escaped was supposed to happen, but this people don't know only mobius knows that's why he asked for his help otherwise loki would have got reset
Nah Loki escaping caused tony and steve to go to 70 which wasn't planned as it was a consequence of something that wasn't in sacred timeline (here Loki's escape)
tony and steve went back to their original timeline again from 70s , well loki didn't , he created his own branch timeline , i mean it's ba long time since endgame it's ok to forgot small stuffs
@@CaptainBanana Actually Steve and Tony going back is some consequence of Loki's escape which wasn't supossed to happen however steve corrected that by returning the stone to the 70's henceforth correcting the timeline. It was something unplanned by TVA but as the case was handled avengers technically didnt effect the timeline atleast by a long shot unlike Loki in this series
