Hi Ladies, thank you so much for stopping by! I hope my tips are helpful during this holiday season. I did go back to my WW app to look up my starting weight and it was 248 (August 2021). At the time of this recording I'm at 149. I was down to 142 but then life happened. I guess gaining 7 pounds wasn't too bad. When I went on the app, I noticed WW is having a special of $10/month. I'm not sure how long they'll be offering this deal or how long the $10/month will be good for once you joined. When I joined it was $21.95/month and what I still pay. Also, the WW store is closing and they are offering everything (as I understand it) at 50% discount (scale, cookbooks, etc) until 12/20/23. xoxo Marlene

Your WW journey with all your tips has really helped me. I met my goal weight in 2017. Maintenance for me has been a little trickier but I never let myself gain more than 5-10lb before I get back on track. You hit the nail on the head - we have to track everything we eat. And, be as active as possible. Thanks so much, Marlene and you look AMAZING!

Great video, loved your purple hair but so enjoy seeing all your wigs. Your have some really great ones and think the ones with the purple and magenta colors in them are great and look so good on you! Hope you have a great Christmas with your family and friends.

What wig and color were you wearing in your video about your mom, divorce and face lift etc. I think it was yesterday. I loved it! I’ve worn wigs or hairpieces since I was 20. I’m now in my mid 70’s. I had a full head of thick long hair. Loved to change it up with a wig, etc. Still do. My hair is very thin now. I love your videos on both channels. Thank you!

Wow, Marlene, I never realized we are the same age, more or less the same weight ( I am 5'10", 143-144) trying to get to 135 lbs. as well. The struggle for me is that when I began my "diet," I lost weight very easily. Now, it has stalled unless I starve myself. I do a ketovore diet, I try to strictly stay low carb; type 2 diabetes has severely ravaged both my sisters. It does run rampant in my mother's family! Mom was also diabetic too. So, I try to limit my sugar strictly, I don't eat carbs outside of veggies! Now, I will be on the lookout for completely sugar-free/ grain-free condiments to cook with. Holidays, I indulge with things I can make within the framework of a ketogenic diet. My troubles start when I have to go to someone's home. The plateau really moves the wrong way. For 2024, my wish is to achieve our weight loss goals, enjoy the best health, and feel our very best!
Hi Beautiful! Thank you for stopping by! Oh how I wish I were 5'10! I'm only 5'4" so I really need to weigh less. Even though it's not a WW thing, I do keep my carbs pretty low too. What app do you use for WW? Also, Pretty Over 50 is who lives in the over 50 or 55 community that i believe you're looking at. What's the name of it? I'll confirm it.
