It seems to me that you can get moisture on the inside of the stock with this solution

Could I install this in my wood stock? I know they have the CR2, but I don't want that one. I like this CR1. Nice G Shock by the way.

Really helpful video, on question though!
When cheep piece is installed to yout height, can the bolt be removed.
    I have a T3X in 243 and a T1X in 22lr.I have a Timney trigger and just
ordered the Tikka set trigger which is now on the market. The good thing
is I can move these bits from rifle to rifle..

Thank you but this seems like a lot of work for a little bit of movement/vs just buying a GRS stock and being done with it. You sir…God Bless…have a chit load more patience and skills than I do sir. Stay safe.

No argument from me, the GRS Bifrost is an excellent design, I have one on my Bergara B14 HMR, however, at £450 it's a lot of money, compared to the £150 and easy fitting of the KalixTeknik unit, but each to their own ...

@@GunMartTV I bought a GRS Bifrost for my Tikka, I found it way too bulky and a lot heavier!
I sold it, this KalixTeknik CR1Adjustable Comb Kit, looks good to me, I might give it a go.

Any idea what this kit weighs? Looking to add it to my Winchester Model 70 and XPRs.

I don’t imagine very much being just a small aluminum block, 2 small aluminum vertical rods. If I had to guess I’d say 5 ounces. I’m all about carrying a light hunting rifle including scope in the 7.5Lb range and without a doubt I’m going to order one of these adjustable combs.

You had much better luck than me. Mine snapped the support bar inside the stock when drilling. When using the spacer it wouldn't line up correctly. Basically I just locked it down and now it's a pita to move. It's to far back for my cheek weld. It's a good concept but just didn't work. My model is different from yours but looks like the same patent. Stock-tec. In the end I'll probably just get the old fashioned kydex model and take one of my Tikka pull offs and put it on my t1x and chunk the original.

Typical European designed product: expensive, needlessly over engineered, complicated in its and requiring precise measurement, alignment, and placement in its installation.
Just stick with something simple such as the adjustable cheek riser from Mountain Tactical or Mathew Fabrication.
