Really like the videos your putting out. This is about the fifth video that I ran across with you describing shells and shotguns. It's really help me narrow down my turkey gun / choke this year. Thanks !
Yep and if ya ever decide to part with the 301 for some reason the sumtoy like I have may not bring any extra money. And it’s $50 but It’s just personal preference of what you like. I like mine so far but still have to be sure to anchor correctly or you can’t see the dot
Yea I bought one, put it on 301 turkey 20ga it just did not work for me I got peed at it threw away and put an adjustable on it I hated drilling holes in stock but now I can adjust to the very height I needed and works perfect for me so I put one on my 410 301 turkey
I have an old 1950’s Remington 870 fixed full choke. 28” barrel I believe. Would that make a decent turkey gun? I don’t know what else I would do with it I can’t shoot steel out of it they say. Got it at a pawn shop for $150 a while back
Tip for anyone looking to get one of these. I had a bear of a time trying to get this on my wife's savage, I ended up sliding it over the barrel with the scope off and folding the pads in once it was in place.
It made a huge difference on film day yesterday, I believe not having a true anchor messed with me on point of impact for tests Everything was centered yesterday 👌🏽
@Blue Collar Outdoors USA it sure don't take much with these chokes now that if u aren't setup same with a solid anchor u miss birds. Especially when they r in tight to you. May have learned that once or twice. LOL
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I wasn't trying to bag on your video, honest, I was just thinking about it logically.... I am curious though... can those foam inserts be stacked? My bolt gun has a 20 moa rail on it so the eye box is super high. Much like you I have been considering a different stock all together or modifying the stock with the drill holes install screws type cheek rest but if there is a quicker easier way to go about it, that's how I found your video.
Does anyone know of anywhere where you can get a replacement stock for the 301? I need to cut my son's down a little but want to make sure I can get a replacement when he grows a little more.
Check them out and order one here and help support our testing on the channel!

Man I'm glad you posted this, I definitely need a cheek riser. Thanks again.
It helps big time made a huge difference yesterday!
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I ended up ordering a pic rail mount for the holosun, no one has the EGWs. So I'll definitely need a riser.

That’s why I got the riser it’s perfect no matter what mount I roll with

Very nice man!
Really a must when running a red dot on these guns!
Exactly!
Been running one for several years on my REM 11-87 with Kaspa Turkey scope. Your right a great product. But a huge pain to get on and off the stock
Yes but that means I won’t have to worry about it moving when hunting so I’m ok with it

Could break it down and put it on that way as well
Looks pretty interesting, also looks like u worked up a sweat doing it. LOL. Things we do for Thunderchickens
Man it was a fuss I tell ya but I’m a big fan once it’s on
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA yeah no doubt, it's something I will be looking into

These are facts!
I like to hunt in rain and im concerned the neoprene will come undone from nasty weather.
Haven’t seen an issue yet but I’d imagine enough rain it may be an issue but I’d doubt it
I used a 3/8” riser, sleeve, and a sumtoy mount to get rid of that chin weld. 😂
I dig it!
I feel like it would be better putting it on from the other end... gives a reason to disassemble and clean... just my 2 cents
Do it that way then don’t matter how you do it hoss lol

I didn’t take it that way man not at all ahhaa
Yessir they can
nice way to get a cheek riser without changing the entire stock out
Yessir very easy And I’m a big fan

That I have no clue on I’ve seen many asking in turkey groups but not many answers
Can you get 1.6inches of rise into that thing ?
You can get quite a bit that’s for sure!
Have you ever hunted Daniel Boone national forest
No I have looked at it though good tract of woods
I have found easier to put on front the breech break down the action from the barrel and slides on much easier
That would do it too ahahah
Thank you! 😊
For?
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA for showing me to use/put on the combi riser kit 👍
You betcha!!
We're you hunt in ky
North East KY on public land
Nice 👍
Yes I’m a fan!
Umm looks more like a chin weld then a cheek weld. You may need to stack pads
They way I have it is perfect can’t member if it’s how it was in the vid or not
just put 2 of these on lord baby jesus you almost have to be a wizard to put these things on lol
🤣🤣🤣 yes ahagag
Cool deal man, nice
Yess!
Easier to take stock off of gun . Then put it on stock then put stock bak on gun
I agree!
Nice
Yessir
Save your money guys, these risers suck. Pain in the ass and shift easily.
You didn’t put it on right then lol ours have been set on since this video dropped haven’t moved yet
