J.K. Simmons played J. Jonah Jameson so well in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy, that they brought him back to play the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) version. He’s also played him in many different cartoons as well.
JK Simmons is indeed the best man to be Jameson, but so was Ed Asner. Before JK Simmons came along, I always heard Asner’s voice as Jameson whenever I read the comics or fanfiction. But now it’s impossible to choose one or the other.

I think Joaquin Phoenix plays Doctor Strange in the Tobey McGuire version. So yes Joaquin, Tobey and Jk Simmons in Spider-Man 2 and Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Holland and Jk Simmons in the MCU
I like how after the Spiderman movies came out they basically kept Simmons forever, even changing some of the looks of his employees to match the movies too. Miss Brent looks like her movie version.
I love the new j.j in recent Spider-Man comic books! When peter needs help with anything jj has his back! After finding out who Spider-Man is...He goes HARD for peter now any way that he can help.

J Jonah is at his peak in the Raimi trilogy - dialogue is excellent and so are his interactions with Hoffman and Ms Brant. the new scenes in No Way Home feel like they miss the mark a little, as brilliant as it is to see Simmons back
