This simple technique can make your tires look really black and shine for quite a while with regular cheap silicone, tire dressing or shine.
2 key things you need is a brush (not too big or small) and TIME! By letting the silicone or tire shine soak in the tire before driving around you will get longer lasting black and shiny tires.
I found the best results by doing this in three 15 minute intervals , a step further is allowing it to soak in overnight after doing the three 15 minute intervals.
DO NOT! use a brush on plastic or any other trims on your car. Tires only

I used this trick, it lasts for atleast 3 weeks. I pour tire shine all over the brush for each tire for 4x. Too shiny for the first few days but it'll look nicer after travel.

This is better than using a sponge. A sponge just absorbs the component, but a brush won't.
