Subbed! Fellow Toyota guy here. I’m in the midst of rebuilding the engine and trans in my 2000 Celica GT-S. Going to use this method to clean all the oil grime up. Thanks!
May as well replace all your pressure sensors on the transfer case now too. They go bad and cause your CDL to not engage. There's lots of info on mud about it. Love the vids👌
Great video Ricky, such a satisfying job - and even to watch! Does the Super Clean come with the sick goggles too>! :D ;) Stacey and I both were like, "wow those fenders are green!" lol
I use oven cleaner spray as it works great and is a lot cheaper than degreaser , just don't leave it on too long as it turns the alloy a grey colour . 🇦🇺
great work. I'm humming along with you and my 94, built the harness like you as well with tesa and all that, thanks for the recommendations. One thing I am doing is having the steering box rebuilt with the 105 sector shaft. Common failure when offroad
thanks for your video sir , i am from viet nam , often clean the engine dirty like this , could you help me for 1 question , please . after you clean the aluminum already , do you know any kind of product can seal or protect the aluminum surface . Hope you having a great day , sir . if my english is bad , please forgive me .
😂😂😂 tell me youve never cleaned greasy 20+ year old car parts without telling me youve never cleaned greasy 20+ year old car parts, it never works like that, and what this guy had to clean was cake compared to some of the stuff ive seen and cleaned.
That Transmission Came Out Super Clean! 💯
“I’m not looking to make it perfect” makes it look perfect!😂
I need to remember this the next time I'll clean my car - remove the engine, spray it down and reinstall. :')
Don't let perfect be the enemy of 'done'...
Fantastic work! Love how clean your engine bay turned out!
Awesome job, I’m sold on Super Clean!
Thanks man!!

Sweet!! Thank you!
Shockingly clean! Didn’t think there was any hope for that transmission grime 😂

Haha. I put them on because I kept getting grease water in my eyes. Lol! Thanks guys
Who ever installs a dirty part should never touch another vehicle ever
I'm glad you have alot of time and money. I will send you my info, you can send me some.
Amen!!!
Yes, I love my Brother but he does sub-par work. Now I get to undo it. Bracing for the challenge. It's bad.
Correcto moondo
@@gmans7859 lol! I’ve been trying to get my brother to clean stuff for years.
I did the same with my mitsubishi eclipse. I also used two detail brushes just to get the spots that are hard to get
If you ever do this again I would try to get a pressure washer with a heater and get the temp of the water to 180 degrees melts oil pretty good
Definitely will try that!

Good work man! Looks so good
Thanks Clinton! I’m surprised how well it came out!
I'm in trouble a little bit with my newest project. OCD. IT'S GOT TO BE CLEAN!!!
You should be fine to support the trans on the pan, just use a block of wood in between the jack (according to the FSM).
try a drill attachment kit with those nylon scrubbers. kit comes with a bunch of different sizes. works amazing on my 1/4'' impact!

I have that on my build list!
You can set it on the pan no issues. Speaking of the pan tho, it does seem like the gasket is leaking.
I find that high hot pressure water works the best….never had a good degreaser knock off that much grease, it just removes a lil grease.
Have you seen the freezing method? I’ve seen tools that freeze grease off. Really interested in that
Which do you think works better? Liquid or foam?

Use paint for aluminum. It comes on can.
Make a little stand to hold the transmission up. Craft it out of 2x4s
amazing video good job
nice work. Is your pressure washer hot water or cold? Is it a hi pressure or is it a cheapo model like mine?
Looking good! Is it possible to leave the lines and cap? That way you can easily hook back up in future if need be. Keep up the good work!
I like how you’re thinking. Future proof it just in case. I’ll do that!
Super Clean ! I needa do this for my 80 cuz my front main seal has seen cleaner days 🤣
We’re doing a giveaway for it!
@@RM_Garage hook it up! 80 series gang gl to me

Should look into at wits end rear heatee delete plate
I have looked at it!
Super clean!
Just use starting fluid. Spray on .watch it do its magic
Would you like to tell me the name of this degreaser because am from Pakistan
Nice work! what kind of pressure washer are you using?
It’s a sunjoe spx…something, maybe spx3000?
Just use a hot steam pressure washer. No materials required. That's what they use in UK before they do bus/truck/lorry mots.
Might get one in the future. Have you seen the method they use to freeze and chip off the grease? Looks pretty interesting.
awesome work
EPA will be visiting soon I bet 😂
Yep a lot of that grease and oil went right into the ground. People don't do this!
Your my hero
I'm thinking a 3000 psi pressure washer would do a much better job maybe even get a jitterbug nozzle
New subscribed from Somalia
Why didn't use brake cleaner is the fastest cleaning agent!? ✌️
Now you can use the Super Clean on the grass to remove all that gunk & oil from there! 😁
I wonder what all that cleaner did to his lawn.
Wouldn't hurt to jet wash it first then use the chemicals. Give the chemicals a head start.
imagine having a real pressure washer u wont need second pass
oil leaks stop rust
True!
next time use heavy duty stove/ oven cleaner
Use a cherry picker or what u call engine hoist
If I had cleaned it like you, only here in Germany, I would certainly have gone to prison - environment 😂🤦🏼♂️
But, Great Work!🎉
Use a brush, do not use too much water
After just a wash : For sale fully rebuilt 6000$ 😂😂😂
Ha! I bet people do that too
Be careful it will eat rubber .
😮😮wow
God almighty...who has the time for a project like that?!
RUclipsrs. Lol
Bro you need a better brush...
But it worked! Haha
Get a better nossle
Doesn’t look so amazing.
try with EASY OFF on SPraY, and u tellme
These are not good degrease. They are not working at all. Good degrease should instantly dissolve the grease without pressure wash or brush wash.

Uh, okay kid.
@@Initial_Gopnik Amen!! 25+ years old grease and grimes are a pain in the butt to clean it squeaky clean.
