- Alan Wake 2 is finally here and it is AMAZING! Here is my honest review of this horror survival game and why it's worth buying.
This sequel is by far the best horror game in years and lives up to every expectation. The graphics are excellent, especially on PC but even the Playstation 5 looks great. The sound is incredible and the atmosphere within the game takes me right back to the days of Silent Hill 2.
This is much more of a horror game than the original Alan Wake. There are plenty of 'jump moments' and lots of scary moments too. This game is a serious contender for Game of the Year!

i had first played through Control and thought id give Alan Wake a try. could not get into the story plus i dislike the camera controls. this game looks amazing though so ill give it a go eventually
I absolutely LOVED control, such an amazing game! Great gameplay and great story, especially if you played the original Alan Wake.
Yeah it was an amazing game but i just felt the game was a tad bit long..some of the alan wakes sections got tedious for me towards the end
Was it the tasks/gameplay that you found tedious or aspects of the story/plot?
@@TheGameFatherUK probably the gameplay man...those Alan's sections with the scene and plot mechanic were novel at first but by the third time it kinda got boring just moving around the environment looking for a floating white blob
