you should totally check out the Jordan 12s, 13s and possibly the 14s as well! (a bit harder to find)
Jordans 11-14 are the best retros for actual basketball playing, the 12s and 13s are known to be one of the most stable ball shoes ever, they are MJ's all time favorite J's to hoop in as well, and I don't doubt the man

Hi Zach, I couldn't agree more. The 11 and even the 12s (which are my favorite jordans) were a head of their time. I've put patients in both, however, getting them is the problem sometime. Some retros are still relevant. I would look at the zoom flight 95. It's step-down model the air thrill flight was probably my favorite along with the jordan 12. Keep up the good work, saves me from cutting up my collection haha.

I hoop in Retro 10's 11's, 12's, 13's, and 14's. These are my go to shoes as a 6'4 PG especially when I am playing multiple games and can't switch shoes

Can you do a performance review on the curry 1 flotro please cause im planning to buy one but other videos only seems to just talk about the basic stuff of the shoe but you always put more details on your video and it helps me a lot to decide on if should I buy the shoe or not, keep up the good work
7s/11s are the best air Js 12s&13s best zoom. I would love to see you do the 12s Zach I'm sure you'll get around to it at some point. Also this year's 11s are gorgeous 3/4&11 are 5he best aesthetically looking Js in my book.

Hi Dr Zach, great video/work. I play in the retro 12s now with the move game day insoles and they’ve broken in pretty nicely. In your opinion we’re the 11’s lighter than the 12s and did you use insoles in yours or were you able to just play with the regular ones that came in the shoe?

I got these in the SNKRS flash in November. I love them for wearing around. I deal with heel pain and that seems to subside when I wear these all day.

No one talks about how a majority if not all shoes made nowadays are way to narrow for a foot reducing the natural splay of your toes and thus more instability due to a lack of surface area your foot has on the ground. At least the companies should add a wide and extra wide version of all their shoes.

Great review. The only 11 I like is the white and black. Jordan looked so cool in those. This color to me is too garish. Great to know that it’s great for basketball as they look good on the court.

In my opinion, as a bigger guy, i felt like the lateral stability was not as great. I dont know if you felt like the heel was noticeably higher than the forefoot. So for me, the heel to toe drop with not as great lateral stability, I couldnt hoop in them. My style of play is physical down low.
I balled in the Cool Gray 11s from last year.

Most folks miss out the plastic cup around the heel cup, which would break apart after few years.
Anyone else notice the 11s stiff af now? I been getting these since the 90s and these joints used to be soft now every 11 I get feels like a wooden plank on the mid soles.

Imagine if the 11s had zoom air oh my god that would be the best basketball shoe of all time. I love 11s but 12s are my favorite Jordans to play in. 12, 11, 14, 13 and 8 are my favorite Jordans to play in.
Yup I agree. A Zoom strobel or Zoom bags would completely transform this shoe from great to exceptional.

Not much foam under the forefoot, which I find interesting considering it's the 11th shoe in the lineup. You'd figure MJ's cushioning requirements would've gotten more demanding as he aged. Was it to save weight on the otherwise bulky shoe?
Only play with this indoors as they're amazing and really bouncy under my foot, and can hold it's own vs new shoe tech nowadays.

Hey zach, for a bit I have watched a lot of your shoe reviews and I need help on making a choice. Sorry this isn’t related to this review and you probably get questions like this a lot.
In comparing the Kyrie 8 and Jordan Zoom Separate, do you believe that the cushion in the heel would bottom out in the Jordan in a couple months? I heard you talk about the arch but not the heel. I am looking for a shoe that would last at least 4 months playing indoor basketball a couple times a week? I need impact protection to last for a while for my knees, thanks, and much love to all the detailed reviews.
Also, my whole foot is 2E so I was thinking a half size up in both but the Jordan would fit better. I tried kyrie 8 in my reg size and it was extremely tight and restricting. Was also looking at the kd15 in my reg size but idk if it would be wide enough or work on dust

That’s not discolored on the heel of the sole, you are seeing a part of the sole that is not covered but the carbon fiber plate. It’s just the white part of the sole
