Cute cards! I use the left over diamonds in shaker cards, they help the glitter and sequins move a lot better plus add fun colors!

Covid was crazy, I think I did over 100 of these Diamond paintings. I even sent photos out to be converted and the bigger the better! Like 30 X 36 and the squares rather than round. Now all rolled up in the Diamond painting graveyard…but it sure was fun!

I love diamond painting! I started in 2017, when I was actually looking for a certain cross stitch kit. I chose quite a big canvas with square diamonds for my first piece and it took forever to finish - but I learned a lot and it looks fantastic.
I, too, use leftover diamonds (or "drills", as they are commonly called) in shakers and as accents on cards.

I use left over drill for card embellishments.

Hi Ralph. That looks very relaxing. I love the canvas with the little dog. When I first saw you with this I thought Crystal Art. I live in the UK and we have a similar thing called Crystal Art. These are like crystal rhinestones and the same idea as yours. I swear one of these days I am going to have a go. Well done Ralph. Yvonne

So enjoy you fun new projects Tfs ❤

I think diamond painting looks fun, and I'd be ok sending cards to people, but actual big diamond paintings are just in the...uh...velvet paintings category as far as gifts to give people (cheesy). It feels like coloring...something just for ME, but not something I would turn around and gift. I've not succumbed yet because this seems like a dangerous hobby for cat owners ;-)
