Can I just say that the card making Community is the most supportive I’ve ever been part of (cue the onion cutting) & WELCOME! You & your cards & videos ROCK! Love to you & your partner & pup!
A spooktacular card! Love your mix of products, and I agree with your wish for more Halloween card making products. Halloween is definitely turning into a favorite holiday. As a kindergarten teacher it was one of my least favorite holidays. The kiddos were so wired due to candy for breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks! Now that I'm retired I make cards & decorate my house inside and out! I'm enjoying your videos.
I have watched all 3 of your videos. Mostly a scrapbooker but started paper crafting by making cards and still enjoy making them. Yes I do send Halloween cards and my sister in law collectes the Dept 56 Halloween Village. I have really liked your videos and always learn something. Can't wait to see what is next.
I'm a new card maker. I've watched YT videos since the time we shall not speak of, but never felt I was ready for the cash outlay on the tools. I've since made the jump and Halloween Cards are ABSOLUTELY my gateway drug. Christmas is nice, but the variety of Halloween vibes you can capture are so fun. Love the card and welcome to YT :)
I have used Memento Tuxedo Black for years...never smears. I use Versafine Clair onyx black for wording. Check with all the stamping greats for ideas. I am glad you spread the love by using different company products. I want to keep them around !! Glad you joined the group ! Cards are great and you look like your having the fun we all need !
I love how real you are about being a bit off with your die and not being perfect with your coloring. Great idea with the pebbled path...I don't think I would have thought of inking it like that. Great card...look forward to many more. Thanks
I also use memento for use with alcohol markers. I use versa for use with watercolours. You basically use the opposite type of medium. Dye ink for alcoholic ink and pigment ink with water colouring. Dye ink reacts with water, alcohol inks will move your pigment ink.
so glad u quit ure job. ure in your happy place designing cards :) pls post the envelope and magnetic sheet set u use for stamp/die storage. thank u! great crafting!
“I know just enough to be dangerous” is the story of my crafting life. I love Hocus Pocus for non scary Halloween movie and Army of Darkness for B movie horror/comedy.
Amazing video!!!! Please continue to make them I love the way you showed us exactly how to create this beautiful card!! I would also love to see more embossing cards.
This card is so cute. And I love the little Halloween villages. I don’t own any pieces but I will start collecting now that my son is getting old enough to not break stuff lol
Ralph, I had the pleasure of watching your fun and inspiring, with what I believe to be your first RUclips video a couple of weeks ago. I'm a big fan of Cathy Zielske as well. I know she's gotta be so proud of you, as are the rest of the crafting community you are now a part of. Congratulations!! I will look forward to watch you grow and thrive doing what you actually love to do! It's the best! Lots of luck and great success!
Although I've been crafting for years...this is the first time I've seen someone use the scoreboard to get the panel on the cardbase properly...😲😲 love it... and the card - of course 😀 - . Can't wait to see what other fabulous creations you come up with.
My favorites for black ink has become Gina K amalgam obsidian for alcohol and watercoloring (unless its no line and then I use distress ink vintage photo) and I like Altenew pigment ink also in obsidian for sentiments or super dark black stamping (so I sometimes keep the stamp in Misti to restamp in the Altenew after coloring). Good luck with your journey in cardmaking!
I am definitely not a great alcohol marker user but when i do I use clear embossing powder over the black stamped image. That way you wont have to wait for the ink to dry or risk smudging. Its nice to hear a male point of view for cardmaking. Thanks for the fun cards!
Great card Halloween is no big here in NZ but I do remember carving pumpkins as a kid in England. For finer splatter try a fan brush it will make smaller stars.
Love this card! I'm from Connecticut (the small state just under Mass) and have been to Salem many times. Its a wonderful place for any Halloween fan to visit any time of year.
It's funny you said about getting Halloween cards. It is the ONLY holiday I send cards for. :-) I'm not sure what that says to my friends but I don't much care. Great card!
Ralph, doing "all this" is a full time job. Filming, editing, creating, crafting. You are doing an awesome job and I get the I'm a fun professional vibe. love the cards today. You are off to a great start.
I was told by more experienced cardmakers than i, that memento is good for alcohol ink coloring. This is a great card. I'm not too into Halloween cards but this inspires me. Thanks for sharing.
Wow that is a cool card so much dimension while having a clean finished look. You bring such good energy to your videos I feel better after watching them.
I love Halloween too. I am far behind in my card making bc I am moving to Panama in Central America. As people said in your first video, your explanation is clear, you have a great voice, your pacing is excellent, and it's calming/soothing to watch you. I am awfully glad you aren't trying to sell a particular company's product and you share the wealth showing how various brands can seamlessly blend together. Great job & card. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ralph! I was watching CZ tonight and she shared your name and showed a card that you sent her!!! So cute. I really enjoyed your 2 videos and can't wait to see more!!! I loved all the elements you put onto 1 card! Thank you, I am super happy that I have found you!
I never send a halloween card BUT i love halloween, so i make them anyways. Also good for scrapbooking. So fun! Thanks for sharing! Gina K amalgam ink is my go to for alcohol markers. cant beat it.

I loved Hallowe'en when I was little. Our tradition was to dress up and go into people's houses and entertain with a song/poem/joke in exchange for food (not sweets) but American trick or treat has taken over 😢 I like the way you work it out on camera. 🏴
REPLY to RALPH ... Our kiddle had one "in the day", but WE found them to be great decorations along our entry sidewalk for Halloween. Super cute Halloween card. My fave Halloween movies are Hocus Pocus and Scream. But as a tradition, I always watch Rocky Horror Picture Show and as and end to the day, I put on The Crow. ❤ Great way to end the Halloween day and great start to my birthday. 👻🎃

Halloween is my most favorite holiday too! I originally come from Conn. and visited Salem many, many times! It is quite an awesome day, for sure! Great card!
Halloween is my favorite too! My Grandaddy’s birthday was Halloween! We keep our decorations up year round. I also collect the Dept 56 Halloween village but most of them are discontinued. Thank you for the card, it’s great!!!
Neat card!!! I’m so excited to find a new person to watch!!! I wish you total luck at this!! I really enjoyed this and yes thank you for not making a Christmas in July card!!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Fun card! I don't do a lot of halloween but I do have people asking for them. They are fun to do, my Lawn Fawn popup ones were a hit! My favourite ink to use with alcohol markers is Tonic studios Nuvo Hybrid black ink. It works with all mediums and drys quickly
Halloween is also my favorite holiday! No one seems to send Halloween cards anymore, and it's so sad. Love your card and your love for the craft. Back off Christmas, it's Halloween's time to shine. 🎃 🧙♀️ 👻 🧟♂️
What an awesome card…love your step by steps…you are easy and fun to follow along…those trick or treaters are adorable…looking forward to your next project…thanks also loved your background music. Happy Haunting
Awesome card! I made 15 Halloween cards last year for a nursing home. I am sure I will be making that many this year as well. Thanks for the fun card idea! I have the fence. My daughter is a big Halloween person, so she get many Halloween stamps. I borrow hers to create the cards for the nursing home. It is more fun that I thought it would be. My favorite ink I use for alcohol markers in Memento Tuxedo Black or sometimes Gina K Black Onyx. It looks like you did well with the Versafine.
I miss my family’s Halloween buddies. Sometimes it works out that your entire family gets along really well, wives, husbands, and kids. We met at a McDonald’s Play Place when our kids were toddlers. We were both refugees from mommy groups. At some point they moved from the city to an historic mining town that was chock-a-block with ghost stories. Old fashioned hay rides, a haunted train, and trick-or-treating on a wooden boardwalk. Wonderful memories. Our kids are all grown now, but they went trick-or-treating together from the time they were toddlers till they were too old to go any longer. We live in SoCal now and Halloween isn’t nearly as fun. We just haven’t found our groove yet. Not like Christmas with all of the lights---so many, many lights. Disney does things for Halloween every year, but I don’t like the Nightmare Before Christmas; the regular Haunted Mansion is so much better, though the decorations around the park are cute. Universal’s haunted mazes are unbelievably expensive (usually $100/person/maze) and so crowded. If you want to shell out over a thousand dollars and stand in line for hours… Impossible for that activity to live up to the hype for me. Halloween is now an excellent occasion to make a card for my friends. But as a general rule I much prefer giving regular stuff a Halloween 👻 treatment rather than getting Halloween 🎃 themed supplies. It’s easy enough to change regular house dies & stamps into haunted houses or to make figures look 👀 tattered and spooky. I use Tim Holtz’s house dies to make haunted villages and the like. I also use his Splat dies and Paper Rose’s similar dies (“pond” shapes) to make ghosts. I just cut eyes and mouth holes out of the shapes. Monsters are also fairly easy to create out of various shapes. Just a matter of looking at the shape and not think about what a die or stamp set is intended to make. Paper crafting is definitely the best part of Halloween these days. I love making journal spreads and scrapbooking Halloween. I don’t send out too many Halloween cards. This video is an excellent reminder to sort through the Halloween specific supplies I do have and do a sort/purge. I have a calendar alert for the first part of September so I remember to go through fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving decor to pick out stuff for donations before the season. I think earlier might be better though. I donate to nursing homes. They will take paper crafts. I like paper crafting more than having the completed items so I donate last year’s makes to have room for this year’s.
Love the card, Ralph! I'm also a BIG fan of spooky season! Just wanted to shout out that you tend to use a lot of product lines I'm less familiar with (and see fewer card makers using) which is awesome! Thanks for sharing your talents; it's awesome to see you being embraced on RUclips!
Been following on tiktok for months and seeing your video last week made me so so happy! As a fellow spooky season lover, i am a huge fan of tgis card!!🎃👻
I love making Halloween cards. I use a lot of Tim Holtz stamps and dies for them. I think I like making them, because you can go all out crazy. I do mixed media, stamping, dies anything goes!
Hi Ralph I loved today's video, so full of fun and information! Your card is awesome! You explain everything so well and I learned a lot. Thank you so much for sharing. Wishing you much success. I will definitely be watching your channel. ☺️
Well we don't have Halloween here over in the Netherlands but I really love all the Halloween cards and images. Love the typical Halloween colors too. You made a great card.
Great card! I love how you used supplies from different companies. It reminds us that we need to use all of our supplies and not just get stuck using one company at a time. FYI: Dollar Tree already has Halloween stuff out so you're not pushing it... LOL
Ralph, I use Memento Tuxedo black ink with Copics. So glad you’ve joined the card making world! Please keep making videos. We need more guys doing this!
Hi Ralph, I missed your live so I had to watch the replay!! I loved your introduction with the thunder and the Halloween music during your video!! What a perfect card you made, it was definitely spooky, lol!! 👻🎃
Colorado Craft Company has some really cute Halloween Stamps and Dies. You’re doing such an awesome job! I bought all the supplies for card making about 5 months ago and mine are still looking like I did them in preschool! 😂
I love how much information and insight you put into your videos! You can really tell how much you care and love what you do! I’m glad you made a RUclips so I can continue to learn from you!
I send Halloween & fall cards. For alcohol marker coloring, I use Momento Tuxedo Black ink. My go-to pigment ink is VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Or you can use clear embossing powder over your black pigment ink if you'll be using alcohol markers.
Lawn Fawn Jet Black is my go to for alcohol ink coloring, I have tried several big brands, Lawn fawn is best. Versafine is best for sentiments. Altenew for super black colors.
Ralph, this was a fun card! For virtually instant stamp to color with Alcohol inks, the go-to for most crafters has been Tsukineko Memento Ink. I enjoyed the sidebar of your Halloween village. Halloween is my wife's favorite holiday also. Boo!
"Don't worry about being perfect", you say as you're meticulously cutting out with perfection😂😂😂 The one thing I hear over and over again on all of these channels is; "This is not Hallmark, it's handmade".
We were in Salem last Halloween time, too!! So fun. Your card is awesome! We need to get started on the Halloween cards now, so we're ready in October. You're not early at all. Keep up the good work. You're in my subscription list & I look forward to your videos.

I have been an alcohol marker colourist for years and have always used Memento ink for the stamping. Great card also!

Great card. Thanks for sharing! Good luck in your card making journey - I find it very therapeutic!
Yes, my sister collects Dept 56 Halloween Village! We put it up across the mantle, love the entire time of the year.
Wow that is a cool card so much dimension
while having a clean finished look. You bring such good energy to your videos I feel better after watching them.
Love Halloween. I do have cute stamps from stampin up and a few other manufactures that I made treat bags with and tags for treat bags.
I love Halloween too. I am far behind in my card making bc I am moving to Panama in Central America. Great blending, Ralph - and the card came out so good - very inspiring. Thanks so much!
Sometimes Dollar Tree will carry tine foam squares. When I see them I pick them up! Best Price in town when the have Card is cute
what an enjoyable watch! Been obsessed with your TikTok’s, and the RUclips videos are even better. I love the little blurbs that pop-up. It’s so cool seeing your vision come to life!!
My favorite holiday. Chervil out Temu! I have gotten a lot of Halloween items there. The dies cut beautifully.😊
Hi Ralph! I was watching CZ tonight and she shared your name and showed a card that you sent her!!! So cute. I really enjoyed your 2 videos and can't wait to see more!!! I loved all the elements you put onto 1 card! Thank you, I am super happy that I have found you!
What a great card! You did a fantastic job. Your enthusiasm for card making is very apparent. It's obvious you are enjoying yourself. Such a pleasure.
Thanks Donna! I do have a good time :)
I never send a halloween card BUT i love halloween, so i make them anyways. Also good for scrapbooking. So fun! Thanks for sharing! Gina K amalgam ink is my go to for alcohol markers. cant beat it.
I use momemto tuxedo black ink for coloring. It doesn't smear and dries very fast.
I like the mix and match of companies. In Tim’s video yesterday he showed how to extend a die cut while using the same die. Just a thought. Great card.
Looking forward to Fall cards.

I love that card! I would much rather see Halloween in July cards than Christmas. I'm a big horror movie fan, too.
Super cute Halloween card. My fave Halloween movies are Hocus Pocus and Scream. But as a tradition, I always watch Rocky Horror Picture Show and as and end to the day, I put on The Crow. ❤ Great way to end the Halloween day and great start to my birthday. 👻🎃

Versa fine onyx black is my fav. I like to use clear embossing powder over before I add color.
Very nice! Love making Halloween cards. I have the best luck doing my splatters with a small fan brush. Makes the perfect size splatters😊
Hey Ralph, great intro 👻🎃💀. You really were made to do this card making gig. You really are great 👍. 😊gayle
Making Halloween cards is fun. Made a bunch last year then ended up only sending a couple so am good for this fall yet.
Fun card! I don't do a lot of halloween but I do have people asking for them. They are fun to do, my Lawn Fawn popup ones were a hit! My favourite ink to use with alcohol markers is Tonic studios Nuvo Hybrid black ink. It works with all mediums and drys quickly
Favorite Halloween movie is probably Arsenic & Old Lace.
Halloween is also my favorite holiday! No one seems to send Halloween cards anymore, and it's so sad. Love your card and your love for the craft. Back off Christmas, it's Halloween's time to shine. 🎃 🧙♀️ 👻 🧟♂️
The trick or treaters is my favorite of Tim's new launch. Really happy to see a new video from you with all your crafty fun,

Enjoying your content so far! Looking forward to following your journey!
Thanks Jenny! 🙂
Ralph, I love the narrative while you are making your cards, especially the ‘I should of’. I do that to myself all the time and glad I am not alone
You are DEFINITELY not alone 🙂
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink is my standard go to ink for my Copic Markers. Thanks for another great video!
It was so adorable and all I would add would be some red stickles.

$100 per maze per person?? That’s robbery!
Memento Black Ink is the best to use with Alcohol blends.
Thank you for sharing your ideas I’ve been making cards for 20+ years. I use momento black ink with my alcohol markers
Glad I can share some new products with you!
Been following on tiktok for months and seeing your video last week made me so so happy!
As a fellow spooky season lover, i am a huge fan of tgis card!!🎃👻
I use memento tuxedo black dye ink when I color with alcohol markers.
I love Halloween! I sometimes overlook it in my panic to get my Christmas cards done in time.
For ink to stay wet longer I'll sprinkle them with clear embossing powder and heat set them.
Great card! I love how you used supplies from different companies. It reminds us that we need to use all of our supplies and not just get stuck using one company at a time.
FYI: Dollar Tree already has Halloween stuff out so you're not pushing it... LOL
Halloween is my favorite craft holiday. I have used Memento for my Copic coloring for about 10 years now.
This card is so cool! I hope you post frequently because I love your style❤
Thanks Peggy!
Aww thank you 🥰
I send Halloween & fall cards. For alcohol marker coloring, I use Momento Tuxedo Black ink. My go-to pigment ink is VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Or you can use clear embossing powder over your black pigment ink if you'll be using alcohol markers.
I need to be more diligent about heat embossing over my black ink! I tend to get lazy there 😅
I just love watching you pull all these odd bits together into something amazing
Boo!
"Don't worry about being perfect", you say as you're meticulously cutting out with perfection😂😂😂
The one thing I hear over and over again on all of these channels is; "This is not Hallmark, it's handmade".
We were in Salem last Halloween time, too!! So fun. Your card is awesome! We need to get started on the Halloween cards now, so we're ready in October. You're not early at all. Keep up the good work. You're in my subscription list & I look forward to your videos.
We might have crossed paths!
Great job Looks super. Thank you
Wow! I’ve never seen a card like this, all those different elements are fabulous! My mind is exploding with idea! Your card is amazing!
It is NEVER too early for Halloween!
This is such a great card, i am absolutely loving your videos! I cannot wait for more :)
Thank you! 🙂
