Hey Stephen I am an immigrant to the USA I have no family here so I just wanna say thanks for the educational fishing content! It's always tough when you have no one to teach you but thanks to technology I get to learn from the best
Where you at?
@@willtidwell4226 You’re trying to send that man back to his country. 💀

Nice editing at the end showing the docking, trailer load, and ride out. It's those simple touches that often go unnoticed but make watching a pleasure. Thanks.
that moment right after the first Sheepshead when you said this one's gonna go in the box and you stared at the tore up tail and was disgusted at the thought of eating it for a second there was hilarious to me. you didn't have to say a word. your facial expressions showed the whole thought process 😂
HAHAHA you know it
YOU TAKE YOUR MOM FISHING THAT'S GREAT GOD BLESS YOU AMEN AND AMEN 🙏
Man I'm glad someone is getting some. Fish around heare I haven't had a bite in 2 weeks all kind sof bait
We entered your moms fishing shop and she gifted us a free bag of lures from you, you both are genuine people! Tight lines my friend
The tackle shop is not ours, she just works there! Hope you can put em to use! Good luck
Bro I just love your videos hope you get 1m some day
I can’t wait until the new pier is finished!
Me too!
Tanks for your time and your videos tanks
That’s a great day of fishing right there! Keep doing it big. Loving your videos!
I see that bridge! Glad you caught some down there at the island.
Nice truck bo$$!!.Another great video!!
Yezzir. Thank ya much
Woahhh now , you gotta let a brother know when you come to this side of the bay! 😅 looked like a great day out on the water
Hehe ;)
If the wind would ever subside to a "normal" speed, it'd be more often lol
@@BamaSaltwater lol it seems like the new “normal” is 12-15kts
Each Video Helps Me Become A Better Inshore Fishermen! Thanks Again!
Anytime! Thanks for watching.
I've been fishing for my entire life, even a short period as an inland fishing guide. The Palomar knot is absolutely my favorite knot to use. It has served me very very well.
We all have our opinions, see, my favorite knot is the uni knot
Great video. I love me some sheepshead. I going to have to remember to put saltwater in my cooler. Great tip. Good luck
Thank you Steve for another great fishing video keep up the good work
Amazing video 🐟🐟
Thanks for the videos. Just moved to the area 2 years ago and your videos have been a big help.
Hi man ,looked like you gotem. Enjoy watching your channels
I was just watching you fish in 100ft. Of water and saw you catch a 26lb red snapper. I have never seen a snapper that large . As I was commenting on the clip I was kicked off and could not find the clip again. I do enjoy your fishing clips !
Stephen, I am a recent Pensacola Resident of the same general age and interest. Just bought a new 22’ CC Seahunt and have been putting in at Mahogany Mill Boat Ramp lately. I noticed you’re out alone like me so holler if you want to meet up out there man. Big fan and appreciate the vids you put up
25k subs is just a day or two away, congrats!
Nice fish today,I really want to start fishing, do you think you can sponsor a rod and reel maybe I'll really appreciate it
You handle those landings very well with net and rod coordination rocking in a boat. My thought would of been, mom why aren’t you here to help me net! Just kidding, enjoying the fishing passion.
Thank ya much !
Congratulations on 25 K subscribers.
Nice catch, those were some nice sheepshead!! Last time I was down there fishing we fished on cedar point pier. That was probably 15 years ago. Last satellite shot I saw it was completely demolished by a hurricane I guess. Had many fun nights fishing that pier. Great video.
New sub. You are driving my dream boat. For many resons i think your boat is perfect for florida fishing. Great content. Thanks
Great vid thanks brother God bless 👍
I appreciate it much !!
I love ur videos 😀 U are the sheepshead king 👑😀😀. a subscriber here ✌️✌️
🤙🏼🤙🏼👍🏼
Love my Toadfish med/heavy rod. Very versatile. Use it for bottom fishing as well as for casting poppers in the surf. Nice sheep. Great video!
Ive got same Toadfish too but IMHO it doesnt beat my St Croix Avid m/h and a m/l. I match the m/l with a Shimano Stradic 2500 and the m/h with a Penn Slammer 3 4500. Find they bring in 95% of my inshore fish.
Awesome video
Man I just got into fishing about 2 months ago and I love this guy. Would love to go fishing with him. Great education as well
Steve can you give a quick break down explanation and/or a video about the use of braid, monofilament, and flora-carbon line. When to use each under the right circumstances and type of tackle is best when used. That would be greatly appreciated. Again man I really love the videos and what you stand for buddy. Keep up the awesome work
Yes! I definitely plan on doing some technical type breakdown videos!
@@BamaSaltwater looking forward to seeing them thanks Steve
Use mono and braid when your bait floats, like top water frogs, use fluorocarbon when your bait sinks
Nice Sheepshead!!! Loving the content Brother, stay safe. It’s saying Dauphin Island Bridge is about 3.4 miles.
Cool! Thank you! You as well.
You are not only a good fisherman your very informative!
Hope I get to go with ya next time !! Great catches!
You need to!! thanks much
Man I love all your videos mate!!! Matt from Australia. And yes thanks the lord for everything he has done for us
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them .
Cheers 👍🏼
One of my favorite videos is when you were fishing fidlers and caught your limit of 10 nice sheeheads. Box full😂
Another great video! Bless you and your family.
I'll have to try that setup. I've had good luck with a jig and is current rough I add egg weight to it . Like a knocker rig for the sheepshead..
If you run your tag end back down through the top of the hook eye after tying your Palomar it will keep you hook pointed up
Can’t wait for the cobia love catching them
Me too!
Great video!
Thanks !!
Fort Morgan launch is lookin great
I agree for sure,
Great bait for redfish. I like mine a tad bigger.
How about another catch and cook???? Keep on fishing!!!
Love the videos! Keep ‘em coming.
Nice 👍
Mobile bay can be really rough, sometimes more than the gulf. Wish I was there fishing too.
I agree, especially during a strong Northern
Love the sheep's head bro. Scraping pylons is how I bring em up
I have been binge watching your channel man! I love the last thing you say and I so wanna come down and fish! Do you charters? I would love to fish with you if I came down!
Dang good video, love the content and information ✅💥✌️
Thank you much
Love your videos.
thanks !!

When I was a kid in Southern California id remove the crab claws with a firecracker!
Nice bro 👍👍
I enjoy your videos.
Thanks !
bought me a toadfish rod today at hooked up!
You need to do some catch, clean and cook.
Bro it looked like you caught those first sheep head on a different set up?
The wind noise messed up my audio on that portion to explain, yes. I was using the drop shot rig for all but one that did break off in a snag and I had a Bird of Prey Knocker Jig in 1/2 oz tied up for that one.
I'm in the same boat with the oceanity but you need to try the 2 /0 3/0 oh oh'shaunasy VMC huge fan I fish for a living commercial in winter off shore charters in summer and fall and when I tell you that I have literally used and tried every hook I really have and I'm not sponsored by them I wish I was. Anyway VMC can stand up to my abuse and my clients abuse so try you won't ever go back I promise for everything marlin to whiting on the beach. Grays in the reef tiles in the mud flats in 3000 feet to swords trust they are the best hooks for every occasion. Good luck and tight lines
Hey Brother, great video. Watching these videos have me wanting to move down near the Gulf Coast to go fishing all the time. lol. My MOS school was in Pensacola back in the day but I did not get a chance to fish as much as I wanted. Maybe soon. I am debating on the Texas, Alabama or Florida coast. I was set on the Houston TX area because of jobs but now that my job is remote and could always be remote…I think I can go anywhere. Any recommendations?
Thanks for your good fishing videos how's the fishing in October?
Glad you enjoy. October is PRIME time for fishing. I Love it. Lots of big fish move and eat that time of year
Hey dude when you going to take me fishing? Hey think about it, someone to handle the net.....lol.
love your content keep it up
i keep the claw on to entice the fish - dont pull on first hit wait for the weight
Your videos have cost me 750 in tackle and I’ll be in gulf shores in mornin headed for the state park .
Haha, Best of luck!
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thanks!
At the beginning of the video when u said it is sometimes hard to get bait this happened to me and my grandpa when we went fishing we went too 15 different bait and tackle stores that where all out of any dead or alive bait so we went too some sketch one by the bottom of a bridge turns out it had just got loaded with shrimp which we really only use tbh and people said it was an amazing day to fish, so I had a competition with my grandpa and I won 11 fish to 2 fish.
Sheepshead are some really good tasting fish!
I like your videos
Breaking the skunk is always a weight off the shoulders. 😂
100% lol
can you make a video explaining this rig setup?
What about frozen fiddler crab what does work
They can, but they get really fragile unless they are blanched.
great video !!! do you guide?
every English teacher's nightmare is the title of this video
Question: does sheled oyster which are outdated in their own fluids kept in the refrigerator useful for. Ait and if so what fish?
Hey man. Any clue what was killing all the big redfish last week? I was at Ft. Morgan all week and couldn’t catch a thing on artificials. The bay and point was littered with dead big reds.
They haven't found a really answer. Mr. David Thorton (aka Pier#'r) shared this information he found:
** From AL MRD FB page:
"On Sunday March 20th, the Marine Resources Division began to receive information on a fish kill event comprised almost exclusively of adult red drum. Reported locations of the dead fish ranged from Point Clear and other locations on the Eastern Shore to Fort Morgan, Dauphin Island and Grand Bay. It is difficult to determine the cause of this fish kill. We contacted our partners at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Alabama Department of Public Health to determine if the fish kill was a result of a harmful algal bloom. Our partners had collected water samples last week and determined their samples indicated low counts of organisms which have been known to kill fish. The fish floating in the water or washing up on area beaches are in advanced stages of decomposition which makes it challenging to conduct any pathological examination. The dead fish do not show signs of entanglement in fishing gear and waters in Mississippi were not open to purse seines and waters in Louisiana were open to a small fishery in western Louisiana. A fish kill consisting primarily of red drum is not unusual as Alabama has previously experienced red drum mortality events in the spring but those have typically occurred in late April or early May. There are currently no health advisories for consumption of fish, but it is always a good practice to thoroughly cook your catch. If you catch a large red drum with lesions or observe a large red drum with abnormal swimming behavior please collect it, immediately store it on ice and call Marine Resources - Dauphin Island: (251)861-2882 or Gulf Shores: (251)968-7576."
Great videos, Coming down to orange beach at the end of next week, staying at perido beach resort. Will the jetty or sea wall by the bridge be the best place to take my kiddos? Thanks for the info you have provided
The seawall under the bridge and the jetties are good spots just be careful on the jetties it difficult to navigate
Try fishing straight down against seawall fish hangout underneath the wall
I fish that seawall all of the time! Red's, Flounder, and Sheepshead are good targets this time of year from the seawall. But it's not impossible to see big specks, bluefish, and later in the year, big Spanish! Ya'll will enjoy it.
I can't help but notice, that big one is a smoker, maybe a coffee drinker. What ever he is he should have brushed daily.
How did you like the toad?
I thoroughly enjoy using them, they're not as light as my St Croix Avids, but they balance really well
Looks like dauphin island
Can you make you vodeos longer please
Bro do you let the bait touch the bottom or just the sinker.
In in north grand bay
What are those structures for that you're fishing beside? Are they to protect the bridge from impacts or just for people to fish from?
Those wooden barriers are there to protect the main bridge structure from impacts (runaway barges, collisions, etc.)
What hook is that exactly? Great sheepshead hook.
Its takes a ferry 40 mins to cross according to google
Okay
Thanks for the comment!
For a begginger I’ve been seeing the rod but should I get a 6’8 or your exact setup it’s for beach fishing what imma be using idk the difference in moderate fast and all the other stuff if anybody can help me out it’ll be appreciated
Is a person able to get there via foot. I don’t have a boat
I hope the siren was for firefighters and not any dangerous weather for y'all !
Bro cam was centered while you were solo netting wouldn't of even noticed 😅
what boat is that?
I'm running a KW1700
What kind if boat do u have?
Scout 177 Sport
What is the difference in chop in the mobile bay verses the gulf? Looks like they are calling for rough seas this week so the bay may be fair game if it isn’t too rough.
Just depends on the wind direction and the sustained speed
@@BamaSaltwater we definitely got blown out last weekend.... it was ROUGH!!! Will try again soon.
We consider sheepshead trash fish in Texas..
