- I'm taking you outside with me to go install our new Windbooster GT Throttle Controller on our new 2023 Canyon AT4X Truck. This little device removes the lag time of acceleration when pressing on the gas pedal, which makes it feel like your car is now a little faster - its crazy yet amazing!!! I am so happy with this simple diy modification that I wanted to share this with you just in case you were looking for something to give you an upgraded feel to your very own vehicle.

I’m wondering if it interferes with terrain mode on the At4X
It removes the throttle response only and it has a "standard" option that you can switch the device to bringing the truck back to factory. We haven't used any of the modes on our truck that it comes equipped with yet. But this device is plug and play and if you want to unplug it before you switch modes on the truck, it's super easy to do that. It's cheap and worth a try especially for removing the pedal response lag just for around town driving! Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Curious if eco saves more gas compared to normal?
I haven't used ECO, I've been in Sport+9 since the install and I haven't noticed if I'm burning through more gas. It seems pretty average, especially on the highway! I'm still loving this thing though. Thanks for watching!

unfortunately your comparison is flawed since you didn't use the same pedal deflection. That was simply pressing the pedal down normally on the first run and then flooring it on the second one
It's unfortunate you don't have one to try it out yourself. We love it because it removed the lag from the throttle response out of our 23 Canyon AT4X! If you don't like it, don't buy it! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@DeAndraIrene that’s interesting you took that negativity. Was just pointing out that if you floored it in both situations you would get a better 1:1 comparison. I have a 2024 AT4X and don’t have any lag
@@kc2743 all Colorado's and Canyons have factory pedal/throttle response lag. Most vehicles do tbh! I have to rewatch to see what my husband did here, that you're referring to (he was driving for me while I filmed) All I can say to you is that no matter how he deflected the pedal at any point in this video, the lag is gone and this is our review and opinion of the device. If it was a shitty device, I'd tell you. If it's a great device and does what it says, I'll tell you. It's that simple! Even if I edited portions out of the video that I should have left in - I will always let people know if a product is not worth purchasing and vice versa! On the other hand, I recommend you pick this up and give it a try - your AT4X definitely has throttle response lag, you'll notice the difference once you install this. If you think you don't have lag, then this device will be the best purchase you've ever made for your truck too and will blow your mind lol! And I mean that with the kindest sincerity!
@@kc2743 and also, I would love to see a video of your throttle response on your 2024 - OMG Duuuude, do you know how many views you would get if you show all these men that the 2024's are now coming out the factory with 0 lag on the pedal/throttle response???!!??!?
