Same here, AT4.. it does everything that I need it to really well, great options and the interior is such a nice place to be.. also swapped to KO2's which definitely improved the crawling and snow grip even more... I had to stick with GMC so for the choices and options available in my range, I'm very happy wth my decision.. would've been almost $1150 month for the X Edit: swapped KO2 for Ridge Grapplers.. I'm pleased with the off road capabilities, even more so with the improved on road/rain performance, albeit a louder drone especially on Xway..
@@Mr.Unshakeable hey bud, did that all come thru for you? Hope it helped you with your decision.. I was gonna go ahead and delete it, no need to leave all that up lol
I think that I would pick the GMC AT4X for my ride. The AT4 you are reviewing seems to be better suited for mild off roading or driving in highway snow. All your points good or bad are nice to share with the folks watching.
I’ll be moving to Colorado Springs this summer and I am in the edge of AT4 or AT4X. I know I’ll be going up the Rocky Mountains during summer, winters for fun activities. It’s a tough calls. I the only thing that I do not like the about the AT4X is their interior white seats, their capabilities of towing lower than AT4.
Great video. Thanks again for the genuinely great content and quality of your reviews. The factory rock sliders do in fact bolt to the frame, I went and checked them out on a Colorado ZR2 after seeing another reviewer with the same concern. Those plastic plugs on the body were still there, not sure what their purpose is.
I really like the over all capabilities of this truck and it looks cool. Kinda like the colorado zr2, i find myself asking, with all the issues that have surfaced should i still consider this truck? Im really hating the idea of headlights are a part of the Infotainment Display.
How often do you touch your headlights honestly? I never take mine out of auto... If you want them on all the time just toss a piece of tape over the dash sensor
I'm thinking that- like the Trail Boss- you have a G80(Eaton) rear locker in that AT4. (or is it an option in both?) If so, that is a TRUE locker. At least it is once it automatically locks. Obviously, takes a bit of predetermined wheel spin, same amount every time, but once that happens it is flat out locked. I suppose that OLD system even has some advantages. Nothing to remember like engaging it. Nothing to give you an argument like some of them do when trying to get into or out of locked status. Nothing to fail like an electrical or air connection, or a switch. They are relatively cheap. OH yeah, don't let me forget: always ready to go in 4 Hi! If one tire starts slipping, that baby is going to LOCK. I guess I have a bit of nostalgia for that system since I had it on an 83 S10 Blazer. That thing got me out of some tough spots, like digging me 2 equal ditches thru the snow and mud one time- but not enough to high center me, just enough to get me out of the ditch I had slid into. Obviously, the Big(and only?) disadvantage: you must have a little wheel spin before it will lock. And I also would prefer avoiding that wheel spin.
I went to another video from someone else and their sound was on, than I came back here and it wasn't working until I fast forward to near the end and that's wen the sound went on. So, I stopped and went to the beginning and than it was playing okay... Very Strange, @@GTGarageTalk
That is strange. I thought I had scheduled it to publish AFTER it finished processing, but apparently the 4K version is still processing. Sorry about that.
I purchased an AT4 about 2 weeks ago and I'm thoroughly pleased with my purchase.
Love that! Enjoy it!!!

ordered mine yesterday waiting on allocation for dealer
@@DrivenToChaos_0331 how much are your payments for the at4 if you don’t mind me asking, thinking of getting one myself?

@@GTGarageTalk I will be watching for that one. Thanks.
In Edmonton Alberta a AT4X will cost $73 to $80,000 no thanks
Another great review thanks
Thanks for watching.
Awesome! I have the Stock 20inch wheels. I think it would make those trails. We will see. 17s soon.

so stock this truck is decent offroad, but its still a good platform to build from right?
Absolutely.
How are the skid plates on at4?
I think this needs more aggressive tires. Love the stance on this
The stance is my fav part. We got so many compliments on it the week we had it.
265/65/18 is a 31, not a 33”. Otherwise good video
It’s not plastic it’s fiber glass
so, "plastic"
OOPS! NO SOUND - YOU SHOULD DO A SOUND CHECK BEFORE YOU COMPLETE YOUR VIDEO.
I hear no issues, do you have a time at which the sound cuts out?
Im watching it now. Audio is fine. Vid quality is still 360p though lol

Its really funny watching someone who doesn't know anything about real off-road driving, try to talk about off road driving.
🤔
But the interior is Gucci tho 🤣🤣
Complete pos truck
