- A very rainy flight over the Central Rivers voyager depot in Barton-under-Needwood. The 2001 purpose-built depot by Bombardier Transportation oozes efficiency, cleanliness & safety making it synonymous of todays railways. Unfortunately because of this, it lacks any kind of character like the depots we have lost. People may state that it would never have character being used solely for voyagers, but there are many examples of great DMU depots from the last century.
All footage is taken obeying all flight restrictions for the area, the category of the drone & in full compliance of the current CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) regulations for drone usage (Apr-23)

Nice video. Wonder when former soon advanti Voyager's come to x country
Thanks. Yes I guess it won't be long
Apparently one of those cross country voyagers is so broken that its limited to what 14 mph!
Edit: have you also heard of the wabtec shunter works not too far away from there?
The crowd Country units have put in a lot of services, and I guess they're mostly reliable. Yes, I tried a flyover of wabtec on the same day, but visibility had gotten really bad due to the weather, so I had to abadon the flight
@@miniature-airlines Alright, Cool thanks for letting me know.
I found out a long time ago that efficiency drives out individuality. So this is just another train factory. It does its job, but it is soulless. I have to assume that it is the regulations which prevent you from getting low (or lower) level images.
Yes, a totally soulless place. Couldn't get lower as I would have lost line of sight due to the height of the buildings
Very bland looking
Yes. No character in these new depots
