Started taking boron a week ago. I'm 62 years of age female, have Rheumatoid Arthritis since the age of 7 years old in every joint including my jaw. 2 days in from taking it, the lower back pain and pain in my hips and knees GONE. I'm floored! Wish I'd known about this year's ago and that's with only taking 6mg a day. Total game-changer.

I'm a 60 year old woman and I take 3 to 6 mg of boron, and other supplements like vitamin D, and Magnesium. I'm very active and fall from time to time like jumping down the last four steps on to a laminate floor and busting my butt last week because I forgot my feet was wet from watering the leaves so they wouldn't blow away. I haven't had my bones scanned but I feel boron is definitely one of the minerals that keeps my bones strong so I can keep doing stuff women half my age is afraid to do including my 25 year old daughter who's always afraid her reckless mom will break a hip. I also lift weights which I know helps.

Just dilute it in water... search around the net for the correct measurements... store it in a glass bottle and take a teaspoon a day. p.s. don't get the type with added scents in it for this purpose - make sure it says 100% boron on the box!

I spent some time to calculate the ratios to make a gallon of boron mix from borax, so that I had 1/2 tsp per 1/4 cup from the jug, to make it easier to add to my gallons of distilled water that I make. All well & good.
Then I figured out an even easier usage system by putting this concentration into a LDPE plastic squeeze bottle. Testing revealed about 3 to 4 quick squirts equals a tablespoon, so all I need to do is 4 of these (4 squirts X 4 times) per day in order to get my 1/2 teaspoon of boron per day. I may raise that to 8 times per day to get a full tsp as you had in your post above. But anyways, shooting it into food or drink with a squeeze bottle is very quick and convenient, and I think the easier you make it to adopt, the more likely you'll keep doing it all the time.

Yes, I take it and I haven’t felt off by taking it. It will only balance testosterone if you have an imbalance. The reason men take it for testosterone is because it lowered with age in them. Making the feel like a teen again in more ways than one. Lol they love it. I take it for bone health. I take more than what recommended(but that’s me) for leg injuries when I was young. The back of the bottle tells you to take less. That’s why people say It doesn’t work. Don’t take more unless you do more research. Also stop doing supplemental D, it kills the retinol in your liver which is important for ceruloplasmin. Many years ago, my doctor asked me if I was craving laundry detergent during a pregnancy. That was such an odd question to me that it remained in my memory all these years. Within the last few years, I have taken Borax (1/8 to 1/2 teaspoon dissolved in at least one liter of water, drank throughout the day, 5 days a week), and seen improvements in ankles, knees, and neck pain. It's a cheap fix that Big Medicine and Big Pharma don't want you to know about.... cuz as far as health goes, for them it's all about the $$$.

I would think that the sciatic nerve may have lost some of the fatty tissue that insulates it. Do you get enough fat in your diet? High quality fat, such as olive oil? If you have been low-fat dieting over the years, that could be a problem. A ketogenic diet (high fat, moderate protein, very low carb) might do the trick. Let me check something and get back with you....

@ MW 60 percent of bone mass is made up of hydroxyapatite which is composed of calcium, phosphorus and hydroxyl. So of course calcium improves bone density If your body doesn't have enough for it's other functions it will pull calcium out of bones and teeth. And yes, vitamin d and vitamin k2 and magnesium are important for driving calcium into bones. But vitamin d has many other functions in our cells and we now know it's a hormone instead of a vitamin. Please do your research and make accurate statements!

@@nsls8223 10 mg is what I have read if you want to boost testosterone. A lesser dose does not do it. But please, NO more than 12 mg. Also, take your zinc picolinate 22 to 44 mg. Vitamin D 3000 mg with Vitamin K2/MK7 110 mg. Magnesium glycinate 400 mg and Potassium Basics 2000 mg. The RDA for Potassium is 4700 mg daily. Most people are deficient in Potassium. In other words, 15 bananas daily would need to be eaten to get the RDA. 15 bananas is ridiculous. So, I take 2000 mg which is 4 pills of Potassium basics, so that I am supplementing half of the RDA. Now that I have begun living on a carnivore diet, I will increase my potassium intake. I have lost 25 lbs in the first one month of this wonderful way of life. Eating meats, fish, eggs, butter and hard cheese is the only way for optimum health and to reverse any disease one might have. Vegetables have more than 600 amino acid toxins which cause autoimmune disease and other ailments. Reverse diabetes with the carnivore diet. Vegans are the most unhealthiest people on earth. If you want to increase your hormones, live the carnivore diet a way to a healthy and happy life.
