How to bend a set in copper pipe!

  • How to bend a set in copper pipe every time using a formula! I’m using the monument masters 15mm bender but this does work on your traditional benders bending on the former edge where it starts.
    This is very useful when you have to pull a set out into the room going through the ceiling or over other pipes!

    Handy thank you. Will see if can get it to work on my rothy benders. Set a folding to 45 degrees and you can find the bend point so cant see why it wouldn't work. 👍

      The mark point is the start of the former on the hilmors mate

      On hilmor bender you can. Bit of a pain, but I can be done

    If you want a shallower set and pull 30 deg - multiple by 2, if you want a more aggressive set of say 60 deg, multiple by 1.2 - good old right angle triangle theorem!
