11:35 The minimum wage is 12,41€ at the moment. A full time working place has 174h/month, by sheer maths, she will earn at least 2159€ gross. And she will not earn minimum wage, maybe she mashed up gross and net.
Somehow i missed the Part of the Difference between earning and getting😅. I know a lot of People earning a solid Slap in the Face but actually getting a lot of Money from exploiting People. (I hope you get my Point😅)
In Germany we also do not really talk about money. And especially in Hamburg you don’t really brag. There you do t really wear logos and those well paid that shop high end at Neuer Wall, often even just wear like clothes in dark blue etc. there was even an article one to two years ago ina German newspaper about a shopper for those high end boutiques that desides what they will sell, that said that especially Hamburg an the north in gernerall does not like logos or flashy things
Dear Dwayne, i really appreciate your videos, your dedicated points of view and your vision about things. There should be more people like you outthere. Aswell as your response and guesses and description of what you think, but also every other videos. Thank you for yor great work! Its geourges! :-) Have a nice week Dwayne
Psychologists have quite a set income, as most of their customers are 'Kassenpatienten', which means they are 'state-insured' and they get a fixed sum per hour, I think it is about 100€. If you are standing out at your art or you are just a good salesman, then you can go to the free market and demand 200€ or sth, but this is the exception, afaik.
Earning more, when you are experienced in a job is normal and quite fair. But I fear that she, as a women, will earn less forever. But her salary will rise with her experience.
1:40 That's the reality of being self-employed in Germany. At least everyone I know who has a business is doing that, at least. No one is forcing you but... when it's your responsibility, you will not find the strength to resist doing more, even to an unhealthy degree. Similar thing for people working in start ups. You don't have to work sick but people pressure themselves into doing it (speaking from experience).
Thank you Dwayne, that you don't wish me to die imedeately 😅. I'm a retired boomer and worked in the public service. There are no secrets about what you earn, because you easily can look it up in the schedule. If I would have worked in the private sector, I could have earned the double or more, but for me having the exact same amount of money as a male collegue, having a guarantie of same chances even with children and having a job that I loved and that you have to do in public service gave me the strong opinion that I never wanted to change just for more money. And I don't begrudge (?) the others for having more money - and more Stress.
earning 1700€, only getting raises with the basic income raises. So yeah defently not enough for the same 40 hour service job for 7 years now. Therefore looking for something new, since my boss does not want to talk money.
31:49 Yeah, the perceived and actual value of a million changed and the couple you were talking about, or the oil lady are 100% multimillionairs. Still that buying a house, especially an older (turn of the century) older house was never cheap. I earn close to nothing, my parents could afford buying an appartment in a house built 1905 in the 1990s. We were middle class. And it's not Hamburg or Berlin, rather a midsized town. Buying the whole house would still be 18 millions and would have been millions back when they bought the apartement in the 90s. The problem is gentrification, people move into the house buying other flats and come in with ideas like building a loft in the attic and shit like that. Sure it increases the property value but people living in their own apartments for 30 years can't keep up with the cost of renovation etc. Then there are (even in my example) people like this senior citizen Oil-Comnpany lady, in our case a couple that worked for pharma companies and they own 5 friggin apartments in the neighbourhood on top the one they live in as my mothers neighbours. And they don't use them. This is criminal in my eyes.
10:25 If you really want to earn a lot with psychology you need to go into consulting for private businesses. These guys are the guys the CEOs call to mediate stuff inside the company and they can propably earn as much as the CEOs. And yeah as you said, you can tell which of those people are downplaying it. The interesting thing about Hamburg is: you see punks and people living in hippie communes, beggars under bridges and then you got to the city center or the Elbchaussee (A very uperclass street neighbourhood) and you can tell many of the people walking around there don't actually work at all because they are multimillionairs and just live of their stocks and real estate property. I mean it's the same in London and NYC but it's crazy to witness.
No matter how much I earned, I would not tell a random stranger, especially, when they stick a camera and microphone into my face… Sorry, but his face can clearly be seen and bad people may have ideas about finding out who he is, where he lives, etc….
^^ yes we in Germany dont talk about Money as well. Normaly if you have a lot of it you stay calm. No Posing with the money. I think thats a good thing. On the other Hand if you worked hard for it and the luck was on your side why not showing it. If could fuck people up but also can motivate people. but to be honest when i see rich people posing with the money i roll my eyes and think Idiot.
Pls shut up Hamburg is a junkie refugees City And most of Good ppl leave Hamburg and germany because of this dirty ppl Everybody comes because of money and to Destroy germany and germans
It's Sweden, not Finland. In Sweden, a single anonymous telephone call to the tax authority is enough to find out what someone has paid. Almost all income tax details are public and Swedish tabloids often publish lists of the highest earners in different neighbourhoods, and who paid the most tax each year.
Hello, great video! Many thanks for that. Would you please react to the following video? The artist wrote it after the terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015. I think it's an anthem for peace and togetherness in our world. I find it very authentic in this version. “Alex Diehl - Just a song (Official Video)” Thank you in advance. Best regards
How much money do you make every month. Do you like to respond? Open your privacy for everyone. Like the Kardashians (making some dime apart with it. No ofense, just a joke question. Continue to show your point of view. It's sometimes different from mine and thats what makes it interesting and makes me think twice. Outside view is important.

the lady is her own boss, she has her own hair care salon. So, of course, she works more than a regularly employed person…

7:46 In Germany, we unfortunately still have the omnipresent problem of an average gender pay gap of 18%. And that is exactly what it looks like.
Normal in Germany a lot of work a lot of money 🎉❤
The question is how high the prices and taxes are in Germany.
Better dont Ask
We still pay fo WW 2
