Norimaro is a non-selectable character in the International versions of the game.
===== About Norimaro =====
His design is based on a Japanese comedy TV show host named Noritake Kinashi. In true comedic fashion and to match the atmosphere of this game, Capcom certainly made sure to exaggerate the characteristics of this person.
Gameplay-wise, he can actually combo very well and has some good moves which can definitely annoy the opponent. A bit of a "joke" character, but one that is capable of challenging the other characters when played in the right way.
I believe the reason he was removed from the Western versions of the game was due to copyright/licensing issues regarding Noritake Kinashi. I've also read somewhere before that another reason was because Marvel did not want to see their characters getting defeated by Norimaro... and then there's also the story of Norimaro's controversial throw in a prototype screenshot of the game which Marvel highly disapproved of. This throw was of course, removed from the final version.

---- If you complete the game with Norimaro, you get an actual ending image for him, in English text. The dialogue is from Dan's ending.
---- There are some hit property flaws that occur when choosing both characters as Norimaro. When the 2nd Norimaro faces left, his hits will make the opponent stun to the right.
===== About MSHvSF =====
MSHvSF was created with too much "hype" and "company fanboyism". The roster is questionable, because aside from Cyber-Akuma and Norimaro (the latter being only available in the Japanese version), the rest of the roster are recycled from other games. The Capcom roster I think has too many shotos. The soundtrack however is new and is well-composed.
Nevertheless, it's a fun game all the same. Wolverine is a problem in this game though... it's ridiculous on just how utterly overpowered he is, lol.

For those who don't know, Norimaro's ending has him become king of the world. He doesn't rule the world very well, and is remembered as "King Heretic" even by history books.
Capcom finally adds Norimaro in the upcoming MVC Fighting Collection this year
One interesting thing about Norimaro in the international versions is that his transformation ranbu super does a few less hits and slightly less damage because the frames of him in a bathtub were removed. The fact they bothered to make adjustments like that as well as translate his "I WARNED YOU!!!" text and such imply that getting cut from the international versions was likely a last minute thing.

Something tells me that Norimaro's ranbu hyper combo kind of reminds me of Spiral's Metamorphosis in a sense....

Norimaro was originally scheduled to appear in Street Fighter 3, but he appeared in this game because the release of Street Fighter 3 was postponed. It was a collaboration project with a Japanese TV program and talent "Kinashi Noritake". Norimaro's name was recruited in the program, and those who were hired were presented with the base of this game and all of the PlayStation and Sega Saturn games released by Capcom at the time. As an aside, Takaaki Ishibashi and Noritake Kinashi, who play the role of Isro Tanaka (Taka Tanaka), who are appearing in the movie "Major League 2", are active as the same comedian duo "Tunnels".
Off-topic, Noritake Kinashi appeared on a new drama called "Haru ni Nattara" starring the model Nao.
Why they didn't put him in Street Fighter Alpha 3 instead is questionable. Here he is a CPS-2 sprite, they could had easily just use that for Street Fighter Alpha 3. Putting him in Street Fighter III means they had to rework the sprite to CPS-3 which would be even more difficult for Capcom.
Street Fighter 3 continued to be postponed as a result of continuing to demand quality. I also watched the development demo screen many times in a book called Gamest, and was looking forward to it. Because there was a delay in the development of the CPS3 board, we decided to include it in a work that was close to hand while we were talking about a project linked to TV. There is no comment on whether he will appear in the ported version that will be released this year, but I look forward to it. Punisher is the first Japanese port, so I'd be happier with that.

And they were also ok with the Marvel Super Heroes being defeated by little girl robot named Roll with a little girl theme song to match. Honestly, it was because of Norimaro's original throw which was literally him shoving his fingers up someone's ass before throwing them. There was also a win pose where if he beat Sakura, he would get on all fours and look at Sakura's panties while she was knocked out. His taunts were also controversial. The sprites for these are still on the web if you want to search for them.
Reminds me of what happened during the promotion of Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite where Disney did not want to see Marvel characters weak because they thought it would hurt their brand as they were promoting Infinity War around this time. What a bunch of pu**ies disney is

They didn't want their characters getting beaten by this guy but they were okay with them getting beaten up by Phoenix Wright in later games.

Excellent stuff. I see he throws Rockman's helmet as well as the Capcom star and his super has different frames of him in alternate poses or costumes.
Unused sprites of him shows that there was originally going to have a move that features him dreaming of female Capcom characters (including Zangief!) and bleeds his nose at the opponent.
Him and dan would make good friends
They should have put Kwannon as a playable character in Norimaro's spot on the North American version of Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.
That makes sense because there are no female characters on the Marvel side after Rogue and Storm being left out in this game.
It must be the most embarassing thing to be a Cyber Akuma, to be put to trip on a banana peel and to lose a fight against a Comic Geek opponent.

I'm glad they threw in Mobi-Chan in this one. An Akuma statue? This would make it the third appearance. Different colour too. I wonder if it's Ghost Rider or the Red Skull locked up in the corner. I think it's the Ghost Rider though. I wonder if Norimaro has an interesting time out loss pose.

Norimaro has many decent moves especially while doing the air combo, the player is just doing short basic combos on ground and dont know how to execute an air combo for this character.

He is like Roll and Dan Hibiki put together. I never played him but if he is on the MVC Collection, I'll try to use him into battle.
He is now but only appeared in the Japanese ROM and still not sure if cheat codes were used in the international ROMs so I can understand his dialog texts and ending in English

Norimaro is locked in the US version, so I think using cheats is the only way
@@jasonmartinez5116 How strange I did not know that, I understand that when they created the game Norimaro was not suitable for the game program in the American version, you had to have the Japanese version of the game yes or yes to be able to play with it.
