Seeing new lives appear in my aquarium is the most exciting thing for me in this hobby. So I totally understand your excitement and feel so happy for you.
Kuhli loaches are my favourite fish 😍 I've only known on one occasion someone has managed to get babies! That was purely accidental as well. They had gravel/stones as substrate and the eggs must of fallen down and not got eaten. Good luck on trying tho as like you said if pple can successfully breed them it would be amazing!! I have maybe 80 in a 90gal and I love them 😍😍
Thanks so much for the video. I love the way you have plants in your tanks. It make everything look so much better. Congratulations on your baby fry. Its always a treat to see that. Thats why we do this. New generations to keep us in business. 💖👍
I love Kuhli loaches! They are such cute fish :) Good luck breeding them! It'll be cool to see what their babies look like and how they interact with their young
I had some luck with Kuhlis, had the normal ones, blacks n silvers, so about 6 total, in a gravel tank, my tank leaked and I had to empty it and catch out all fish, that;s when i found babies in the gravel, they were skinny about 2 inches long, so unplanned, gravel seems to be the key, u won't even know it happened unless u scoop through the entire gravel
So with the Bozemani Rice fish fry, I throw a pinch of BacterAE in when they hatch and they eat the biofilm it creates for the first few days til I can feed something more. Seems to work decently so far. Also love the channel and I want to send you a few of my dumbo panda guppies and dwarf blue pandas after the holidays if you are interested!
I accidentally bred my brown loaches a few years back. I didn’t realize she laid eggs and moved the tank all around and must have moved the eggs where they couldn’t find them. I had smooth hand sized rocks with almond leaves scattered on the bottom. I must have moved the leaf she laid them on. I hope this helps. I fed frozen blood worms and shrimp pellets at the time.
I had about six kuhlis in a species only tank. Decided to move them to a larger tank and put a female betta in their old tank. One day I noticed what looked like a perfect bite out of her tale. Looked closer and found a teenage Kuhlis that survived. I immediately moved him with his group. So yes I have successfully bred Kuhlis, just by chance though. Will be trying again with a species specific tank with another group in the near future.
Been trying to breed the red cap medaka I got from you about two months ago now. I know at least some of them needed to get older. I only saw a female carrying eggs once. Have had them in with guppy grass and moving the grass to a new tank every two weeks or so. No fry yet. Went with a yarn spawning mop this time. Waiting is the hardest. Love your vids.
My Kuhlis are now in a tank with my Apistagramma Cacatuoides grow outs and they are out all the time with the youngsters..not sure why but they Apistagrammas seem to give them confidence.
I accidently bred khulis many years ago. Basic set up of pea gravel, ug filter and soft low pH water. Only found out when I drained tank to move house.
What pencil fish is that with the Goodeids? And how big do they get? Looking to get some smaller pencil fish breeds. Something similar size to a black neon if not smaller (like a cherry barb)
I found out that my success with breeding loaches was due to our water. Our well is 1000 feet deep and has no other filtration except natural and no uv and no chemicals. Our water tastes amazing. Find out from your water company. Hope it helps.
Kuhli loaches are such a cool fish to own. Mine are always exploring. I wish you breeding success with them. I like your planted tanks. They have a natural beauty.
Are you planning to sell Santa Claus Guppy in the future? If so will you get the white body or the red body variety? Also, if you could only have one strain of guppy what would it be?
I don't own fish, but here I am getting genuinely excited about things I don't even understand 😂
Time to go get some fish then! 😁
It’s never been a better time! Get some fish!

First time for me seeing newborn goodeids. Larger than I had thought.
Congratulations!! Awesome to have babies!! 😊😊😊😊
Won’t it be awesome to see a whole colony of those white guppies? Congratulations!🙂
That’s awesome to have so many surprise fry. That’s always a good feeling. The size of the trout goodied is impressive.
Always learn something watching your videos. Didn’t know those trout goodeid fry were that big.

My black kuhli breed like crazy!!! I’m hoping my striped kuhli like yours will breed soon. One already looks gravid!!
You're going to be able to stock your entire Fish Store w/all your own home-bred fish!!! LOL
I think one can safely say: you are one, heck of a good fish breeder.

U bred the stripe kuhlies or just the gray silver type one
That goodeid tank is looking good. Hopefully you keep getting fry.
Did your new rice fish from Dan's arrive yet?
Just got them today
@@fishboy1415 cool, I am sure you will have fry in no time!
I love the vids I was curious is there a range of dates that you think cherry shrimp will be back up again on the website
Dude love the vids I breed fish to but someday I want to do a setup like yours.
Love the vids

I think you'll have more success with the yarn mop, guppy grass for me seemed to not be think enough
@@fishboy1415 Thanks. Was wondering if that might be the case.
Strange that the Kuhlies are in the open, had them in the past but never ever saw them, they only came out at night, good luck with them!

update on the japan blue gold double sword guppies?
Amazing video keep it up!!!!!

Any luck breeding or got the research?
any updates on the kuhlis?

Red coral pencil fish
exited to see if the kuhli loaches will breed... would be cool if they did :)
How do you know the female rice fish has laid her eggs in the Java moss? Like can you see the eggs or?
😍😍😍🙌
I have a planted 20 gallon long and was wondering if you know any weird fish that could fit in that size of a tank

4:15 Kindly tell me what kind of fish are these. Thanks
That's the trout goodied tank
The kuhli will probably get in the filter outflow tube.
- maybe try to screen it
There's sponge in there
my kuhli loach are super active and they always hang around the front of the tank
them goodeids have big af fry
my dude, are the koi gups gone already or was that a preemptive listing?!
They weren't listed yet, just posted so people could sign up
@@fishboy1415 ok, nice!

Nice breeding factory u have! Ready to stock ur own store soon! huh?
Hey bro!! How many gallons are all of those tanks that sit sideways? Love the videos! #RICEFISH #FISHBOY
10 gallons on top, 20 gallons in the middle and bottoms
Please tell me about breeding kuhli loaches
Awesome how many trout goodied are you going to keep before you start selling? Keep up the great work
Not sure yet, I do want a big school for myself!
I find Kuhli Loaches to be more of colony breeders.
Are you planning to sell Santa Claus Guppy in the future? If so will you get the white body or the red body variety? Also, if you could only have one strain of guppy what would it be?
Probably not since they don't breed true. If I had to keep only 1 strain it would be the 24k golds
Watch 'The Dave' on RUclips they did an awesome video on Kuhli Loaches.
Do you worry about the madaku getting their eggs eaten by snails?
Not really, I've only noticed an issue when I have hundreds of snails in a tank
