I feel like this kitchen is perfect for all the homesteading stuff but not the place while your last house was the perfect place but not the best kitchen to do it. LOVE how big this one looks
More ways to help the kiddo with recognizing people/seeing their faces often: Fridge magnet, picture blocks (My in-laws found these cushy blocks with picture slots in them, but I have also seen people do like crickit iron on wood things for building blocks), and a photo book (not the kind with picture spots, but one from like Shutterfly and you can make it along the lines of a regular baby/kid book. My kids LOVE theirs. They each have their own baby book and a family book. They liked them ok when they were babies, but as they have gotten older they will take them down and look through them. I found my 10 y/o reading his baby book to his sister a few weeks ago. LOL)
Soaking in a bath should absolutely not be removing your gel polish. It means soak-off (in acetone) versus a hard gel that cannot be removed with acetone and must be filed off. If this is causing lifting, it’s a problem with your prep and application. ❤
@ after shaping, gently remove the natural shine from your nail (180g file is perfect) by buffing. Remove dust with 90% isopropyl alcohol to dehydrate and cleanse oils. Apply LIGHT coat of primer and don’t flood cuticles. Allow to dry and then apply your base coat. Capping free edge first and then coating nail. Cure each coat according to the manufacturers directions (each brand recommends a different time.) If in doubt, cure longer. Dark and opaque take longer to fully cure! The thinner your coats, the better! If you keep struggling, try using a complete system from all one brand because sometimes they’re made to only work together for optimal results!
Re: framed pictures: I got magnetic photo sleeves that we put on the bottom part of our fridge for my 18mo! Fill them with family photos and as a bonus it keeps her occupied in a communal space (: She loves them so much!
I printed, laminated, & cut out about 1in pictures of all of our family & loved ones & stuck them on popsicle sticks for my baby to play with & it's one of the top "toys" around here. I got the idea from someone who made whole stick figures with clothes & stuff & laminated backgrounds of stores & playgrounds so their toddler could still play with family they were missing in 2020
I slept great thank you so much for checking in

That's so sweet that you have your shoes from when you were a little girl❤

You could set the birds on a terra cotta saucer so they don’t fall over.

Now that you have been in your new Home for a while, what home layout do you prefer. Your last house or this one?
How long will you be here? I am glad to see you still own your other home
