Mom guilt is terribly real. I am sorry you were struggling, I cried with you on my way to work. It will get easier. It will make you appreciate the smaller moments so much more❤
Ok. I literally am sobbing and just want to send you hugs. "Did I already say hair stuff? Probably." *giggles* I felt this so hard! That $1300 bamboo shelf! GOODNESS! What a statement! Dollar Tree for battery tea lights. I remember your craft room organization video from the old house. Dang! You killed it here! I think having the cabinet instead of the desk and closet helps.
I know this isn’t your plant channel, buuuut, I received your De La Plants garden club merch and OH EM GEEEEE!!!! I’m in love!! I love it all and so excited that it got here a whole day earlier than the expected delivery date!! Thank you so so much!! It’s all so beautiful, down to the packing tape and tissue paper 😭🫶🏻
As a mom I totally understand!! It was insanely hard when we started sending our daughter to daycare. It took a long time before I became okay with it when I saw her making friends.🥹 still stink as a mom though 💕😭💕
I love the organization. Im constantly trying to organizer our home. Mess drives me nuts and i hate when i cant find anything. Im trying to declutter as well.
I definitely remember the sadness and guilt when daycare started. However it’s really good for helping them get socialized, it gives you a break (even if you don’t feel like you need one) and both of you are more present with each when she comes home. It gets better!!
Hi Becca, from your friend over in the UK! I have been keeping up with all your changes on here and have meant to drop you a line to say hi and Congrats on the new house! Its so daunting but exciting when you move and get to start something from scratch. Its often annoying at the time, but once its all done, you crave for there to be a few more projects left! So I'm excited about seeing all the future projects and updates you have for here, I'm vicariously living through your content at the moment and its inspired me to do a few DIY projects of my own this weekend so I built a standing up desk for working from home on my laptop (from scratch may I add!) It looks like ACTUAL DOG SHIT but I love it and I will use it till it collapses on me or someone feels bad for me and buys me a proper one for xmas or something! HAHAHA I also wanted to respond on this video as I have been looking at some organising bits and bobs too over the last few months as I, like you with the ADHD brain - I got diagnosed a year ago and its literally changed my life - I finally know why I feel like my life is chaos and mess at all times - and is made me even more determined to get organised - but not organised in like the 'Fridgescaping' way, because, lets be real, that's never going to be us, and nor would I want it to be, what a monumental waste of time - but I digress. I wanted to share a few cool organising things I have found over the last few months that have jumped out at me - now they may not fit your aesthetic or needs at all but I always like some recommendations of items from people to at least give me new directions or ideas that I can work into what I want to achieve. But here goes anyway - Hope these help or at least inspire a little Idea or two - I'm going to get some of these eventually, but I think they may work for some of your stuff too as with them being clear in pieces you can see what's in them and open the box as whichever side you need to get out whatever specific item you may need - I think these could be great for craft tools, paints, or when you have lots of little things stored together - to find things easier and quicker? - They also look quite sturdy, stackable, have wheels if you need to move them around for heavy items, They all come in variety of different sizes for different places and applications and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they can be folded flat to store away when you may not be using all of them! Here's a few versions I have had my eye on for a while now: - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296516059849?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=byrgkn2vrjs&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=rLr_1IchS-6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353513278985?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2_wdnasvsf-&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=rLr_1IchS-6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353513278985?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2_wdnasvsf-&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=rLr_1IchS-6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY - Version without see through windows : www.ebay.co.uk/itm/365167867415?_trksid=p4481478.c101506.m1851 - Version with all see through top panels and sides: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176383853529?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pgghsbkrtku&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=rLr_1IchS-6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY - Bifferent design - same concept: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166019109986?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zGJY7FPaTky&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=rLr_1IchS-6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY P.s. these may be the uk links but Im sure if you search for them on ebay us or amazon you would find them! sending love from cold miserable England! D's facetious grin when he knew he was in camera. LOL Don't know where you got the little crates but 5 below has bigger ones. It is hard to be a mom and know if you are making the right decisions. Follow your heart. Hugs
Happy Sunday! Loving the vlogs in your new home. Hope you’re fully better about daycare. I remember those days. I luv that shelf…thinking about putting one in my office space.
Hi Daniel!😂😂😂.. oh honey.. Nora will adjust and your time at home will be extra special. I get it.. My boys are grown and married but I still miss them everyday.
You rock ❤ sending a hug from a working mom commiserating that mom life is HARD. Love the wall it’s amazing and since it has plants and decor I like it even more than the old one!!!
I'm trying to find the video where you refreshed the plants and grow lights in your old living room in your last home, in the tv stand i think, i cant seem to find it. Now Im wondering if my memory is playing tricks on me lol! Wondering what grow lights you used there and if they rotate? Love your videos so much Becca!
I have that rolling cart in the same shade of green in your plant room. I got it off Amazon cause it came with additional baskets and hooks and I keep all my plant supplies on it from ferts, to captain jacks to bonsai sheers,d chopsticks to free the edge of plants in a repot, spray bottles, snap mats and more. I like the cart cause I can roll it over next to me for plant projects so I don't need to get up tp get things cause I have everything right next to me. Then when not in use its in a corner outta site. Not sure thats a option with a little one in the household but its a great timesaver knowing everything is in one spot.
I think you've been through a lot and now you are starting to process. I think its completely normal to take a few days to cry when suddenly you have some time alone and then feel terrible that you are alone for a bit.
Hooo Becca... 😿I feel you, I cried too when my sons went to daycare, it was very hard. I send you hugs and love. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

My boys are 2 and almost 5 and they both love climbing on the triangle/arch/slide, it did take them a bit to really start using it though.

What’s the name of that quilt book? I think my mom would love that.

Trust your instincts! It sounds like you are both sad when you’re separated. That should tell you what you should do😊
Exactly. Especially the first three years are very important for a child's psychological development.
