Hey all shockingly I did pass high school math and there are 4 quarts in a gallon 😂 I misspoke because the measuring bowl I used held 2 quarts and I filled it up twice. Sorry I didn’t catch it in editing 🥲
Hi Becca, I hang my outdoors on hangers and spray them with Fabreeze. They smell so fresh! Love seeing baby Nora discovering the snow. And rug on a rug works for me.
I have a big wicker basket I thrifted on my dresser, and I put loosely folded jeans and loungewear that are good for another wear or two in there. I keeps the room looking neat!
I have a decorative basket that the 1/2 worn clothing gets put in, then when I do laundry sometimes I reset it all because some stuff does get buried a bit. I vote yes on rug over carpet if it fits the space, it’s just like a layer rug moment
My husband and I each have hooks/pegs on each side of our walk in closet where we hang our half worn clothes. It’s definitely ok to put a rug over the carpet. Just make sure colors and patterns on the wallpaper, bedding and carpet complement each other. Love the wallpaper!
I always think an area rug pulls a space together even if it is placed on another rug, it makes it so cozy, and I throw my clothing to the side of the hamper as someone said above. My jeans sometimes I refold and just put back to keep crisp. Depends on a lot of
We have a wicker basket at the foot of the bed. That is where we throw our pajamas and I think that could work for "half worn" clothes for you. Find a big basket or even a wicker trunk would look cool.
Before I bought my house I had an apartment with a ginormous walk in closet. There were some shelves right when you walked in that I dedicated to my lightly worn clothes. I also installed an extra hook on the interior of the closet door for if I wanted something up on a hanger. It was nice to have a dedicated space and be able to shut the door and not have those clothes all over my bedroom. Now in my house I have tiny tiny closets and no room so it’s chaos again 😂
I have a separate decorative hamper for clothes that can be worn again! I have a bench-like hamper that divides into three sections for separating different loads (towels, clothes, sheets). Then the other hamper is for stuff I’ll wear again😊 (this does not prevent me from leaving my clothes on the floor unfortunately)
I have a specific spot in my closet (in the front portion) to hang any lightly used clothes, and I also have a shelf for lightly used clothes I wouldn't want to hang. I definitely recommend this method!! It keeps everything in your closet and well organized
I drape my half-worn clothes over the hamper edge (it lives in a closet), and the actually dirty clothes go all the way in. The intro on this vlog was adorable!
I have a clothes rack in the hallway for half worn clothes. Which is good to air them at the same time. If you already have carpets in your bedrooms you don’t need a rug. If your bedroom has wooden floors i only would put a big rug underneath the bed. So when you get out of bed your feet aren’t cold. Wall paper is nice put is such a hassle to maintain taking them off and putting them on i always find. With paint you can just redo them without any stripping wallpaper and putting a new one on.
I did huge pink flamingo wallpaper in my downstairs bathroom during lockdown.. I had to put paste on wall and paper.. its called "booking" the paper..I like the idea of just putting it on the wall.. Honestly I have never thought that deeply about a shirt I wore one day and didn't put it in the laundry.. It just goes back into the drawer or closet..
Pretty sure a gallon is 4 quarts. 😂 for barely used clothing you could hang them backwards in the front section of your closet so that you could distinguish them from everything else or keep a small clothing rack in your bedroom to hang them on, we have a clothing rack in our laundry room that we put barely used clothing on.
Gorgeous wall paper. My only thought would be when u hang pictures, the middle of the picture should be even with Daniels eye level. Hanging pictures too high is so distracting to me. 😊 A plant on your side table would give you some height.
For the lightly used clothes I just put them back where I got them, either a drawer or hanging and for the rug…..YES! Also, you are the most competent person I follow. There are many talented people that I watch but you have something extra. Very easy to watch and listen to.
For the clothes that I am going to wear again before washing- inside our closet, I have a few hooks on a wall and I will hang clothes on those hooks, which reminds me that they are still wearable. When I can’t fit clothes on the hooks anymore, it also helps me remember that maybe I should wash some of them 😂 ✨ADHD hacks✨
5:06 I have a rug on carpet and it looks cute! Go for it! As of half worn clothes I have a shelf / part of rack in closet. Gor clothes i wear at home I also just hang them on the door (i have this metal hooks thign that hang over the door in bathroom and closet). PS. Wallpaper looks bomb!
I have hooks on the wall for my half worn clothes. Most are behind the door or near the closet. I find hanging them also helps them not get wrinkly. I am not into decor but have seen many people put rugs on carpet. Never thought about it again. Doesn't seem weird. Did you say new channel or other channel? If new I hope you mention again
That Wallpaper transforms your bedroom! WOW! I am excited you are getting back with Adam, Nicole & Brie! Yah! & the new podcast! Yah! & you will be in AZ! Yah! Have an amazing time! ✌🏻
Fellow ADHDer here! After years of my clothes on the floor (aka my whole life) I finally put a nice basket in the corner and it's now my half worn clothes bin. Does stuff still end up on the floor occasionally? Yes. But a lot less
I typically hang my clothes back up at the end of my closet to know I've already worn those this week. I don't like to put them on a chair bc they get wrinkly. I say yes to the rug! I've seen plenty of my friends/family homes who do that and it doesn't look weird at all.
I am a person who will wear jeans a few times or like a sweater or flannel in the house especially in winter and I got a valet clothing rack and moved it around a few times til I liked its location. It's my clothing to just jump into it's also called like a valet folding clothes rack or a men's suit valet stand I just keyworded that in til I found a style I liked.
I don't have a good solution for the clothes, but I recently watched a great video from Simone Giertz and she had a great idea. ruclips.net/video/H175G8NH2Cg/видео.htmlsi=tK-PeqX2VUdrBWjm

I use a quilt rack for putting half worn clothes. I got it from a thrift store for cheap!

Oh Becca the wall is gorge!!!!
Put the defuser on a stack of books to add height❤️
the wallpaper looks amazing!

Yes, you’re right, I just vocalized it wrong because the measuring cup I was using was 2 quarts and I filled it twice hahaha

LOL at the drumroll for the unironic wrong measurments
HAHA
I fold my half-worn clothes and put them on the floor next to my laundry basket in the corner. Not the best but it works for me!
That wall is 👌🏼
That Wallpaper transforms your bedroom! WOW! I am excited you are getting back with Adam, Nicole & Brie! Yah! & the new podcast! Yah! & you will be in AZ! Yah! Have an amazing time! ✌🏻
Doesn’t it!! We had such an amazing time thank you ❤️❤️

Heyy! Where is the wall sconce from? Super pretty!!
It’s 4 quarts to a gallon! Hopefully your glue will still work!
OMG 🤣🤣🤣
I did do the correct ratio, I just vocalized it incorrectly. My huge measuring cup was 2 quarts each so I used 2 of them which made 4 lol

Thank you Becca. I would create a small section in your closet to hang your half worn clothes. Just a thought ? ❄️☃️💚🙃
4 quarts to a gallon, babes
Yes I misspoke, the measuring bowl I was using was 2 quarts and I used two of them to make 4. lol
I think it looks strange when the bed covers most of the rug. I would just make sure the rug was big enough.
I don't have a good solution for the clothes, but I recently watched a great video from Simone Giertz and she had a great idea.

Rug, yes! Half worn clothes, hang them back up….
