I never knew about how much tragedy Roy Orbison suffered through before your vlogs. It’s the kind of loss you never get over. He must have been an incredibly strong person to keep on going. Thank you Jordan for taking all that time to find their graves and making a vlog that is such a touching tribute to Roy’s loved ones.
Someone did a very good job raising you, Jordan. You are so kind and respectful. I grew up singing with Roy's songs and I still do. Always wondered why some people go through so much tragedy in their lives while others seem to skate through problem free. I hope Roy Orbison knows how much he is missed.
Thank you for paying respect to Roy's family. So much tragedy. They are in a beautiful place and it's nice to see someone is putting flowers on their graves. Prayers to all of them.
YES a SHOCKING lot of tragedy that he went through it nearly killed him back then when the boys were killed as well & now REST with their Mother GOD BLESS & R.I..P😅😅😅💞💞💞

Thank you so much for sharing this video, Roy Orbison “the Big O” very sad tragedies in his life, he is one of my favourite singers, an absolute legend, love all of his songs, I didn’t know there is a Roy Orbison museum in America, I’d love to go visit his grave and his family’s graves to pay my respects one of these days, a long way from Australia 🇦🇺 but did see him in concert in the early 60’s in Thebarton town hall, Adelaide South Australia , love the song “Too soon to know” now I’ll appreciate even more, know it was written about his beautiful first wife.thank you again for this blog

I never knew that story of how he lost his wife and children until you told us during the vlog you did on Roy, Jordan. What tragedy came into that man’s life as well as great success, but at that time I’m sure he would have given it all up to have his loved ones back again. God bless him for having the strength to go on and find happiness again. Thank you for your caring and respectful vlog today, Jordan, and thank God for you, too.
I'm from UK and I was brought up listening to Roy my brother loved him I still listen to his songs today a fabulous singer one of the best so much tradgedy in his life
I'm a forty -year Orbison fan,and I've always thought that "She" was about Claudette (the lyrics seem to fit).Rest in peace Roy,Claudette,Anthony, and Roy Dewayne
Thank you for sharing your visit to Claudette and the boys' graves. You gave a very honest but very respectful viewpoint. One biography had Claudette marrying Roy when she was 15, then another biography said she was going to college when she married Roy. You never really know.
I went to junior high school with Claudette in Odessa, Tx. She was a beautiful girl and a sweet sweet person. Odessa was very "clicky" and she was considered from the wrong side of the tracks. She had just met Roy when school was out in 1954. I moved to Abilene, and lost track of her - only to find out she had married Roy.
Incredibly sad! How does one go on after such tragedy? I can’t even imagine! Thank for going and paying your respects and bringing me along with you. Another awesome video. Thank you
How sad. Thank you for sharing. You actually inspired me yesterday. Happened to be in Montgomery and stopped by Hank Williams grave to pay our respects after watching your video from there!
@@bill11653 Grady died horrifically. His face was dismembered and he was nearly decapitated. He was killed when his 65 Camaro skid out of control and slammed into an 18 Wheeler Logging Truck while he was driving to go see Roy and Family, he had swerved on a Straight single Lane in the TN Mountains, in an attempt to get out of its way, but his Suspension failed and he lost control. The Camaro was nearly unrecognizable.
Thank you Jordan for putting this tribute to the Orbison family on line. Now they will never be forgotten. How much heartache Roy endured in his lifetime & the brother who lost him mom & 2 brothers 💔
Thanks, Jordon. I am not easily impressed with people, however I was immensely impressed with Roy Orbisons songs, his incredible voice made me feel emotions that I wasn't ready for, but, in a good way.
The sad part would of been his whole life because I can imagine losing your children you will never get over I know I never would as they bring light in to my day everyday.
So sad for him. I was lucky enough to attend church with his first cousins and they all resembled Roy and the guys sounded so much like him when we sang. I went to school with his 2nd cousins. Love his music. Great vlog and thanks for sharing Jordan!

Hi Jordan, This is such special vlog for me because I have such a great connection with Roy Orbison, good memories. special memories of dear Friends gone too soon!! Have an amazing day. I 👏🏻appreciate your time 🎸🎤putting this vlog together. Take care🌹🌺🌼🌸🌻🌻🌻🤠
I have the life story of Roy, produced by his 2nd wife Barbara (a MUST for any Roy Orbison fans). In it, his manager at the time, (an aussie bloke), was talking about a time he and Roy were chatting away. Roy pulls out a portfolio of his new house that he had had built, naturally being proud of it. Inside, Roy had this huge waterfall feature and his manager said, 'Bloody hell Roy, there's 1 thing for sure, that house will never get destroyed by fire with all that water there'. Then, his manager said,(beginning to choke up), he said, right then as they spoke together? Roys house was on fire and the tragedy we all now know, happened. Always loved Roy, the u=human being that he was. When you look at photo's of him when he was young? you can tell he was quite a shy fella and I think, even though he was truly talented and became extremely successful, Roy never changed. 1 of the last things in his life story, Roy was asked, 'How would you like to be remembered Roy?', to which Roy replied, 'I guess I'd just like to be 'remembered'. (is'nt that just typical of the man?). Respect to the Big O.
"Oh, Pretty Woman" was also written about Claudette in 1964. In 1965 they re-married. Interestingly, the song, "Claudette" was originally sung by the Everly Brothers.
His house is next to Johnny cash and easily visited. It’s near my wife’s grandparents and there’s a public bot dock behind the house. I found a burnt piece of wood flooring in the lake from cashes home.
Thank you Jordan.shelly Winters knew that you would be so much more than that young man that she met, way back then and I still think about her phone bills.
Who is buried in the grave to the left side of Claudette, the single grave beside her? I remember hearing about Claudettes' death when it happened, and then the tragic deaths of two of his sons in '68. As a husband and father, I cannot imagine the devastation that he felt, and yet he came back and returned to recording and touring. RIP.
