How does kefir helped you clear out the skin?

  • @Alrobertsdigital
    @Alrobertsdigital 8 лет назад +476

Before you mess around with your diet:
    - Get more sleep, of good quality and consistently 8 hours a night.
    - Drink more water (filtered if you can)
    - EXERCISE. This will help balance hormones... blood sugar... cleanse your body etc etc etc.
    - Make sure your hands are clean when you wash/moisturize and stop touching your face.
    - Get enough sunlight! But be careful if your skin is sensitive.
    - Change your pillow cases every other night because they breed bacteria.
    - Create a consistent wash routine (when you try something, you need to try it for at least 6 weeks)
    - Stop wearing foundation (I know its hard but it helps).
THEN... move onto improving your diet. Sugar is a big one so reducing refined sugar is great, and getting more fiber is an easy one to start with. I.e get rid of white stuff and replace it with brown!

To be honest I think that the first thing that has to be changed actually is the diet, because when you think about it that’s what has the biggest influence on what’s happening in your body, in other words you need to heal within first and then you will start to see changes. Most of the things that you’ve mentioned are only external, of course, it might help a bit but i feel like omitting certain foods from the diet is going to help a lot more...

I was told acne is not necessarily due to problems in the bowel. Apparently there is so many different reasons one could get spots or acne you can't pin it down to one specific problem. I consumed little to no sugar for a month and saw no difference, its unrealistic to put everyone into one category. People watching this right now could be as young as eleven or twelve or well into their thirties (doubtful all have the same problem within that range), I workout so I count my calories and amongst other things I get in a high amount of protein per day, low salt and sugar, I consume healthy fats like avocado and if I'm using oil I use 1% oil or sunflower/olive/rapeseed oil and fibre from some wheat's (gluten free is not realistic or achievable for my diet) and I STILL have acne... HOWEVER! I'm still a teenager therefore most likely have a hormonal imbalance which is probably the main reason for my acne. I just want people to realise that everyone is different.

YES! I'm so happy to see someone who understand that acne is largely based on what goes IN your body. These tips are very helpful. I'm almost twenty two and I've never had terrible skin, but lately I've been getting bouts of bad cystic acne. It helped when I discovered several food allergies (gluten, soy and dairy were the big ones, getting rid of dairy helped most), but it still comes in waves and it's so awful. I eat a fairly healthy plant based diet most of the time, but I still eat a lot of oils and sugars. I'll try these tips though, and I'm hopeful I'll see a change!

I do almost everything exactly how you describe in the video: candida cleanse, lots of organic veggies and proteins, no sugar, no dairy, no gluten, no grains, no oils except coconut. I take vitamin A, D, zinc, berberine, and probiotics. I still have acne. My skin is better than it used to be, but it's depressing to work so hard and still wake up with more spots. I know there's more to it. I just wish I knew what the rest of the solution is.

You might be eating something that you’re intolerant too without realizing. There’s food intolerance/sensitivity to see what foods cause inflammation (even healthy foods can be a trigger for some). Also if you eat too much of something healthy it could be bad too! Did you know if you over eat on spinach it can break you out? It’s all about eating a balance of everything.

Also, protein powders with whey and/or casein needed to go. Whey and casein are both milk proteins that can cause acne.

You must remove it! Dairy causes so much inflammation all throughout the body. Plus, there are so many GREAT alternatives to dairy now. It's hard to think about removing dairy because we have been accustomed to thrive off it, but in reality it's doing us no good. I'm not saying dairy is the end to everyone, I understand the benefits of it, HOWEVER, people with certain cases, such as acne, dairy and sugar are the top things that need to be removed immediately.

Thank you for this insight; really appreciate the health aspect especially considering organic and fermented food options 5:50, and the specific tips on coconut oil 3:08. However there's also something crucial that is almost being forgotten, and that is the natural ways our body easily fights bacteria e.g. on the skin, we have sebum yes! 2:49. From my experience I used to have acne on my shoulders, back and chest area, so improving my diet was just the first step. This helped my digestion become more efficient, I basically became 'clean' from the inside, therefore it DID manifest on my skin, hair, nails...I mean, they were poppin, strong, fresh I had an amazing glow, but the acne would cease for a while then come back -and I also understand that hormones can have an effect (so I'm excluding the period of my monthly cycle).
Then by God's grace I realised that the beauty products (soaps/moisturisers/oils e.t.c.) are also affecting because of the level of consumption, like; while in the shower I would soap up so much that I would completely remove my sebum, then my skin would feel dry, so obviously I would thereafter moisurize to compensate. Due to much activity throughout the day dirt and sweat would mix with the product and clog my pores (long story) = to acne. To transition; once in a while I would try using only water to thoroughly cleanse off excess sebum, and deadskin (tested with my face first and wow! no more black spots what!). This has allowed my sebum to do its work; and because it's waxy (acts as a natural humectant like honey) and oily (seals in moisture perfectly) -it's like a natural, perfect blend, protective coat (also from crazy sunburns) your body has customized for you. As I've continued to apply this technique, 'haiya!' no more acne (even when on my menses I get at most one or two breakouts which I'm ok with, for now...haha). Be forwarned though; the journey is awesome, but the transition process is the hardest; get ready to miss; always eating your favourite sugary snacks, always having the scent of your favourite soap, get ready for some dry skin before your body learns to properly produce good sebum that you can use (with the help of proper diet -as, well elaborated in this video) and adopts it to your new personal lifestyle, while you continously try to establish a proper balance.
But wait! also be prepared for some amazing results, in my case; a sense of freedom, saving money on unecessary products and most of the part soft, HEALTHY skin -like you wont stop touching it at first haha! 'yaani!' glory to God-, It's all worth it I just had to share.

From my own personal experience with acne, consumption of dairy products (milk, yoghurt, whey protein, milk solids, cream etc.) strongly impacted it! It is a pretty high inflammatory food group and isn’t something humans necessarily need after the age of 2 years old. You can disagree with this info, it's not like I read this straight from a highly reliable source or study, but cutting out dairy has truly helped reduce my cystic and painful hormonal acne.
There are many other alternatives to dairy you can try (e.g. coconut milk/cream, other plant based “mylks”, cashew sauce). Or even start by minimising the amount of dairy you’re consuming and gradually start to reduce your consumption as time goes by. Consuming gluten free foods has also helped me heal my acne and has also improved my gut health tremendously! You will find a cure for your acne and stubborn pimples! Everyone’s physiology is going to react differently to many treatments, so listen to your body if something doesn't seem right, and please see a holistic health practitioner for further advice if you’ve tried many options.
    Take care all 💗

Switching from eating a carnivorous/dairy diet to a diet full of plant based options is a sure and effective way to heal acne and skin. If you consume milk or cheeses these foods are full of hormones and acidifies the body thus throwing your hormones outta wack which causes acne.

Timmy Wotsit I hope you're joking. Meat and dairy should not be consumed by humans at all. Meat sits in your stomach and makes your body more acidic, which in turn promotes cancer growth, cholesterol from the meats build up and cause blockages as well as other negative effects. As for dairy, first off, it's meant for the baby animals to grow and develop, not for people to take it and make cheese, yogurt, etc. Dairy tends to throw off hormones and the human body can't digest it properly. I suggest doing more research and finding doctors who have actually studied nutrition in depth.

Mehek Khan I’ve had really bad hormonal acne where it covered all over my cheeks and chin area. I’ve avoided oral medication because I’ve heard bad side effects but I was so desperate! After 6 months of torture with accutane my face cleared up for a couple months but still broke out badly, and on top of that I had scarring. Recently I’ve used ordinary products serums for the past two weeks so far I’ve loved my results. So I would suggest maybe some ordinary products niacinamide 10% and zinc 1% helps reduce with sebum. Look up the product they have high recommendations. Plus maybe eat out sugar, add veggies and half a gallon of water a day🙂 just trying to help out anyone who struggles with acne since I know it’s a frustrating situation

I follow a lot of these principles but my main thing I believe works is lemon water first thing in the morning on a empty stomach and wait 15 minutes before consuming anything else. Alkalize..... Was 40 years old when my acne finally cleared.

I hope this helps someone. At 29 years old I got severe cystic acne. I never had acne ever before. It turned out I had a severe zinc deficiency. You can tell if you have white spots on your nails. Just two weeks after i began supplementing, it slowed down and now i have none at all. Hormone balance is key

Yes. Milk is intended only for a calf who needs it to grow. There are hormones in milk that can cause acne to grow. I stick to almond or coconut milk. I've cut my sugar intake as well as gluten and my skin is the clearest it has ever been.

Great information! In my experience, green tea and diatomaceous earth are one of the two best things an acne patient can have. :) The diatomaceous earth can balance the gut flora and it contains high amounts of silica, which is key to get a beautiful skin. :)

Every issue with the body is a result of diet and gut bacteria. Start there and your pcos will improve. I battled it for years with endometriosis, and when I devoted myself to a plant based diet with exercise, yoga, and meditation, I don’t battle either any longer. I feel great ! Go for it, girl. We are what we eat.
