Ooo. Yes . I have s 2005 2wd and i went to shorter narrower 245 75r16 tires , are highway michelin low rolling resistance, took off roof rack and side steps. Im getting 22mpg. Now if this get another 1-2mpg be great. That put me up to a mini van mpg yet have a more reliable vehicle.
@@adventureandrepeat. Calling BS on those mpg numbers dude. …. Unless grocery getting around town. Soon and get onto the highway, 70 and up, it’s about 18
We liked this setup because we can keep the factory air box and use cheaper filters. And the air box is better to keep water out. Had a few CAIs that took in water before when off-road
It is a cold air intake just cause it's the factory box doesn't mean it's bad. That factory box actually picks up "cold" air better than most of the CAIs out there unless you're spending 400 or 500 bucks. Most of the ones people put on suck hot air from engine bay but makes it sound/look cool
thats super quick and easy!
For sure

Every little bit of improvement adds up! Just because it’s a v8 doesn’t mean it isn’t possible to get great fuel economy
